The holes derive from their source in items that had holes - old coins, washers, and nail-removing tools. This proved convenient for the shuriken user, as well, as the weapons could be strung on a string or dowel in the belt for transport, and the hole also had aerodynamic and weighting effects that aided the flight of the blade after it was thrown. There is a wide variety of forms of hira-shuriken and they are now usually identified by the number of points the blades possess.

Appearance
- Height - 6'
- Weight - 200 lbs.
- Hair Color - Red
- Eye Color - Green
Facial Appearance
Attire
--- Normal of a Tokagekuran, Kibo is tall and slender. He is jacked however in terms of muscle per square foot of body. Lean does not always mean weak, and Kibo is a prime example of this. He stands at about an even 6 feet, and weighs about 200 pounds. Mostly muscle weight, but also slightly hindered by the scales on his body. Unlike most Tokagekuran who go through the ritual of scales, Kibo's skin is very very dark. It is believed that this is due to them using the scales of a Komodo Dragon during the ritual, but there is no concrete proof. Scales cover his entire body as mentioned earlier, head to toe.
His hair color naturally is Red, which also would strike many with the knowledge of the Tokagekuran as odd. The clan members mostly have Green hair, another believed complication with Kibo's ritual. His eye color is however a natural green, one of the only signs that his ritual was a success. His pupil is on a vertical slit as well, natural of a reptile. He has facial hair, also Red. A chin strap as it were commonly called, going from the very length of his hair, down and strapping around the whole base of his chin. It is short, and well kept, however. His hair on top of his head is always slicked back.
His clothes are not that of normal shinobi attire. He wears a Pair of blue colored jeans on his legs, with a white fray belt. Within, are a pair of knives (see above) one on the left sie and one on the right side. He wears a pair of yellow suede shoes as well, white ankle socks to boot. Above that he wears a yellow in color tactical vest. An odd color to say the least, but certainly something worth wearing seeing as it contains all of his weaponry and itesm within. He wears the vest open almost always. He doesn't wear anything underneath, letting his scales and abs be seen by all. He has a golden necklace around his neck, a small one with a puzzle piece on the end of it. He also wears a pair of black finger less gloves on his hands. He wears his headband around his right bicep, like Shikamaru would.
Personality
- Evil/Neutral
- Peaceful
- Motivated by his own ideals
- Thinks for himself, cares not for others
- Easy going
- Dedicated to the thrill of the Hunt
- Sword Collector / lover.
- Classy guy
--- Kibo is a rather wise ass mostly always. He doesn't feel much remorse for people, their feelings, or problems there of. Kibo is normally always out for himself and personal gain. He believes that the only thing in life you have, is yourself, bar none. Girlfriends may come and go, parents eventually die out, and villages will rise and fall. The only constant is yourself, and that is why Kibo strives to be all that he can be for himself. He would do whatever. whenever for himself at the expense of anybody, and fully expects everyone else to do the same thing in those shoes. He find Heroics and rescuing people a bit, moronic. Why waste your life trying to save someone else's? Darwinism, is a theme he believes in a lot as well.
This is not to say that Kibo by any means to out to single anyone out or pursue out any kind of fights. He is actually quite simply, peaceful. He isn't a trouble maker, nor does he strive to prevent trouble. However, that being said, if a Mission involves it, or his life, or his goals, Kibo is not beyond doing whatever is needed. He thrives on the thrill of the Hunt too. He loves going out on Assassination missions, and going hunting as well, which he does quite often in his spare time.
He also thrives on it in combat with shinobi as well. He hails from a clan of lizard men known for their sly ways, cunning tongues and camouflage abilities. He likes being able to silently hunt his prey from the shadows and strike when the moment is perfect. A true assassin. He has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make him any better or more noble.
While striving for the Hunt, Kibo also has a second passion next to hunting; Sword Collecting. Its kind of his weakness. He sees a sword he likes, he has to have it. No questions asked. He loves the artistry gone into making swords. He tries his best often times to pry the swords away from people in a polite political manner, but if all else fails, he won't hesitate to steal one suing his thievery background to do so. Or killing you. He does that a lot too, and he is pretty good at it. He sheds no tears for those he kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience.
Kibo doesn't hold grudges surprisingly, and is remarkably easy going. He is just kind of one of those people that doesn't seem to let the events of the world around them, ruin what they're doing or what they plan on doing. He actually has quite a bit of friends. Trusting those friends, is probably another story entirely, but he has been known to be friendly is he so chooses.

--- Things between the Cloud and Sound Villages were getting incredibly competitive. Thing weren't what they normally were. Village would always compete against one another for missions and money and success, that was just simply the shinobi world. Rival villages made it no better I assure you. Constant fighting between two village, especially in close proximity to one another, was a recipe for disaster. Things were heating up so much between Cloud and Sound, they each started resorting to things they knew not of. Dark, odd chakras that they both knew they shouldn't be meddling with. Yet, here they were, doing just that.
A small group of scientists within the Sound Village had come up with a theorem about the combination of a few well known clan rituals throughout the world, something that could spark a great warrior, a great weapon in which the government could control. So great, those with money who wished to see things of more difficulty be done with greater ease could rest easy on. A weapon to trump Cloud village, and steal their business.
Insert the Thunderbolts. A small group of babies usually orphans, or in rare cases, if they possessed a rare and powerful bloodline like the Uchiha, stolen. It wasn't hard for the government to cover up a few string of murders. Simply put, blame it on a fall guy, place the label of cereal killer on him, and have a public execution to dull down the wild citizens of Otokagure. The Kage in fact, would look like a hero for catching such a horrendous criminal, and viewed as a kind soul for taking these new "orphans" under his own wing and raise them as his own. No one suspected him of such foul play. Such monstrous methods and ways.
That's where I come in. My parents were one of those families that were said to have been murdered that week, during the string of cereal killings. I know what they did, but I'm too weak. I don't have any proof either, but god damn I know that's what happened. My sensei told me so, right before his death when I was 17. I couldn't believe it. Not until he lead me in his final breath to the village library. Every news paper article ever written since the libraries opening was documented and saved here. I read the articles, and one by one started piecing the puzzle together.
I was furious, as you can imagine, but I have learned a lot since the events that transpired with my sensei. He was an older guy, I don't remember how old but he was up there, at least in his thirties. He was only a chuunin though, failing three straight jounin exams. He basically raised me. He was hand picked to do so by the previous kage. He was all I had ever known, and slowly but surely one thing the kage did not predict was he bond we would form together as time went on. He started to tell me things, things about my past like my abilities, and more importantly my scales, and that hidden somewhere inside me, I had the wings of an angel. It wasn't easy to believe him. Then again all the evidence was right there in front of my face.
He started his story with the first ritual I received. The ritual of talon and feather. Hallow bones and small pits under my shoulder blades were really all it was, but it was so much at the same time. It wasn't even a real clan ritual, mor was the other one as well. It took place at the bottom of a military bunker on the outskirts of Otogakure, in the Rice fields. The Otokage hired a few members of the Tsubasa clan to perform and oversee the riitual and paid them very handsomely. The investment if all went well was far worth it. The ritual was a smashing success, and afterwords, the village branded a serial number on my left forearm, along with a bar code (see appearance).
They weren't finished however. Not two weeks later, after my little baby body had fully healed, it was on to the next one. Next, the most obvious of the rituals, scales. The ritual of scales, and ritual of the tokegekuran was also place on me for the right price. A few clan members once more oversaw the ritual placement. This ritual was a little longer in the process because of he glands place on me, as well as the amount of each individual scale on each section of skin. It also requires a lot of different types of lizards to complete. Same bunker and same amount of paid clans members to over see and complete yet another ritual.
Now, I'd love to tell you about some sweet revenge story or that I got more rituals or that I faithfully served the sound village, but neither of those things are true, it's actually kind of anti climatic. The old kage who wanted it all, who wanted to steal clouds business could not escape his own fate. Before I was even two years old, cloud caught wind of the Thunderbolts project, and sent an assassin to take care of "business". I never met the man who killed my family and ruined my life before it began, but I can take some solace in knowing that he is already dead. That being said, what was done was done. I never met anyone from my clans, and I never cared too. The whole idea of the thunderbolts project was to use these weapons I had and have an outside source with limited knowledge of the clans teach me them.
Insert my sensei. The old chuunin. His name was Foster. Yes, and odd first name, but a name none the less. He was a crazy and goofy old bat, but he was smart. His only downfall in those three prior mentioned jounin exams was his physical ability. He never was quite the physical freak other people were, myself included. He taught me everything I know. How to utilize chakra, how to fist fight, how to hold a sword and use it right, even to how to grow my wings from my back. Everything, he helped me and lead me toward the right path. He gave me everything I needed to succeed. We went on missions together and hung out all the time. We would alway bet each other during missions, and the loser would buy the winner ramen from the village ramen shop after a successful mission. He died on our final mission together. It sucked, he was my closest friend and like a father to me, like the father I never had. He told me of the thunderbolts project as he was passing, and how things were now compared to then.
It was an eye opening moment for sure, but one that stuck with me ever since. It wasn't hard to train myself though, at least now with the information and know how on the clans I was in as well as my skill. I couldn't rely on that any longer however. I needed to expand my abilities. My sensei in his will, left me a scroll. A scroll that held within it the knowledge of how to unlock the sacred chakra gates. I read and studied them, and with time, learned to unlock the first three of eight gates. It was hard and very challenging, but I did it. I had to learn how to calm my mind, my body, and my soul. That wasn't all of my training though.
I trained into the fire punching Enten Kobushi, and Goutetsu. Santoryu was the multiple sword style I learned as well. Sensei Foster always said it was good to know how to use a weapon. Never know when you need to kill someone. I used my outside connections to find masters of these styles and find private sessions to be trained under them. That wasn't all though. I joined another clan, but this one didn't have anything to do with a ritual, nor does the clan possess one. I took up smoking after Foster died, and was saw doing so outside a bar one evening walking home. A man stopped me and asked me why I smoked. I told him the story of my sensei. He nodded and asked me if I wanted to expand my knowledge in using smoke to my advantage. At first I was confused, but soon after all was made clear to me.
The thunderbolts project has long since been cancelled ever since that old kage died, but I am still a shinobi of the hidden sound village. It was a part of my life I enjoyed being able to put behind me. However, I have other parts of my life i would like to put behind me. I was a thief for hire in my spare time for a great long while, and if the price is right, I'll still do it. My scales grant me camouflage. This lets me steal excellently, and do great recon missions. Stealing was something I did for fun, for extra cash in my spare time away from sensei foster and my shinobi life. He never found out I did it, at least if he did know he never told me. It's not something I'm proud of, just something I do for the cash.
I still steal from time to time, but I am also a merc. Sword for hire. I like being able to kill people, especially scumbags. Other then that I'm just a regular shinobi living a regular life. Hopefully, I can become a chuunin like my friend and sensei before me. Right now I'm just living life to the fullest and doing my own thing. Who knows what the future holds.
---To be continued.
