[glow=red,2,300]Wrath of the Kinoko[/glow]
Long ago there was a legend that spoke of a leader rising in Kinoko no Kuni [The Land of Mushrooms]. Naturally such a legend gave the nomads that lived off the land hope of one day uniting their clans together and forming the strongest military might ever known. That dream came true though, there was eventually made a Kinokogaure. However unlike the lofty legend, the perfect world that they envisioned soon turned into a nightmare as they were pitted against the oldest and strongest villages of all time. Wars erupted, people died, the country was ran into the ground as ruler after corrupt ruler came and went. Bankruptcy created a village that was more cannibalistic in its practices then that of the Bloody Mist.
Eventually though, the country and the village healed. Fading into obscurity the of the youth who lived through the original wars held in their heads still a dream of peace and security. Fueled by their hate they grew in size, taking from others what they had not been given. Doomed to repeat the mistakes of their past, they began to amass weapons for the utter eradication of those that had wronged them before. Clearly this was not what the legend had envisioned. Only this is what it had become. Peace wouldn't come easy to those that needed it the most. Before the eyes of their elders, that which they had feared had reared its ugly head in the youth that had stood back and watched for so long.
Feeling strong enough to take on the world, those of the new and improved Kinokogakure started on their march. It was here where they ran headlong into the wandering Kuro Inu, a powerful swordsmen who had, by himself, assassinated the daiymo of the region. Surely they could turn this great man into that which they didn't have, a leader. However it wasn't in his plans to go to war again for he wanted nothing more then to disappear from off the face of the earth. It is said that the dead could never rest easy, and as the now blind man could now plainly see, the Kinokogakurians would never let the past be the past and would be killed for being so bold as to take on the Ninja World but he did hate the current state of the world and would ravish killing as many people as he could and burning as many villages to the ground as possible. He openly invited the masses to join him but not before he would reconstruct them into a true fight force. Three months, ample time for Inu to train up the army, the war march went on as the numbers of the Yuuen no Kinoko Tenpei [Grand Mushroom Imperial Army] headed towards Iwagakure, their only other ally of old. They would be the first to feel the Wrath of the Kinoko.[/size] [/ul]
