Hear Ye, Hear Ye! An Ode To Power![/u][/size]
The village had all but been decorated as the villagers gathered. The KazeKage Tower bustled with business and life as the large construct attracted those young and old. AnBu guards stood on watch at every sector as the sound of celebration and laughter filled the streets. On this particular day, the winds had died down so that sand might be the least of their concern. The Council stood proudly atop a balcony that overlooked the entire festivity, anxious to introduce he who had now been placed into the office. Table upon table of food rest at various vendors, some already under the influence and laughing loudly as the ceremony began.
Orange and amber skies greeted them, the day turning slowly into night as the sun began to descend down and below the mountainous formations that lie in the distance. The gale had a certain warmth to it; the weather was neither too hot or too cold. Children's laughter created a serene innocence that washed over the land, many people in attendance to get a first impression of the man who would now take a seat of power.
It was a time to welcome the new and say farewell to the old. The AnBu had managed to retrieve the previous KazeKage's body, giving it an elegant look and keeping it within a coffin of marble and beautiful granite. The sight would surely allow people to know that someone had perished - when she was not among the Council, then they would know why.
Still, it was a joyous occasion. All Suna and Tsuchi shinobi were welcome here, the smiling faces that awaited the new news with suspense delivering nothing but an anxious excitement. It covered the air almost tangibly. And yet, the Kamyuja had not shown just yet. He still had time to get there before a speech would be made. In his place, his assistant merely acknowledged those who waved and showed their appreciation for Sunagakure.
"...Hmm. It's quite the interesting day.." one of the Council members stated. A man who appeared to possess a great seniority stroked his gray beard, half-lidded eyes surveying the people with a nod. He and few others seemed to hold the same attire, garbed in caramel-colored robes and donning hats that appeared to be fashioned with tribal design and a desert rose. Convening among themselves, they were intrigued by the possibility of Kyoshiro Kamyuja doing something positive for the people.
