Here I am, resting in bed on a lovely summers morning, cuffs attached to my left wrist and the radiator, to break free I must use brute strength, I did this to my self to help gain strength in my forearms, some may see it as crazy but if you look at it properly and had the ability to see muscles move when doing this activity you'd notice a sudden enlargement around the veins, the muscles tense up to protect the veins, this allows me to break free from the cuffs with some ease however if I do the technique wrong I'll be left with several red marks around my wrist and if I break it in the wrong way my hands and wrist could easily be cut, if this were to cut an artery I would die within minutes but I aint no wimp! I can break these cuffs! With a bit of strength and technique, my hand would break free from the cuffs like wood.
My forearms are going to need to be trained well today, it's a sunday, Bokushingu practice day. I'd chuck on my usual apparel, a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms with some traditional sandals, a rush down the stairs, a few chomps into a bacon sandwich and I'd be out into my back yard, focusing both mentally and physically, I'd have to learn a few techniques today, I think I'd start with...uh...this calls for the scroll I guess. I'd unsheathe the scroll from my back pocket, detailing several bokushingu techniques, the first on the list was the jab, seems easy enough, it says here that the jab is a straight punch, usually used on an opponent lacking a defense, often paired with a hook to distract the opponents defense, interesting. I'd wander over to tree where I usually train and get into the appropriate stance, legs spread out shoulder width, eyes on the prize and a happy heart.
My first attempt, lets do this, tense the arms, one leg in front of the other to maximize the weight transfer helping the jab's damage become amplified due to the transfer of kinetic energy, eyes locked onto the target, what I assume to be the weak point of the tree due to it looking more pale than the rest of the tree, I'd cock my right arm backwards, preparing for the jab, I'd focus my breathing, controlling my body then focusing specifically on my hand so that if I keep doing it, it will become instinctive, and it'd be a good instinct to have in a trade of blows. In and out....THWOMP! My fist would fire fowards, keeping at an 180 degree angle, my body moving forward slightly, leaning onto my left leg to transfer the weight properly, as it hits the pale bit of bark it'd shatter, revealing the sap on the inside, I'd give off a quick smirk as I move backwards, preparing to keep on training, with enough perseverance anything is possible, right?

The Jab
Rank: "D"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A quick, straight punch thrown with the lead hand from the guard position.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Picture Stand with your feet hip distance apart. Step your right foot back 18-24 inches with the weight of your right leg on the ball of your foot (right heel is somewhat elevated and the knees are slightly bent). Bring your right fist close to your right cheek bone and your left fist slightly in front of it about jaw height. Pull your elbows in towards your ribs so that they line up somewhat below your fists. Push off of the ball of the right foot, bend the left knee slightly and start to extend the left hand in a pushing type motion (there should be a subtle rotation as your left hand goes forward your right shoulder moves back). You may also rotate the fist so that when it reaches the desired destination your left palm will be facing down. Retract the left hand as fast as you extended it and return to the original position. Remember before punching relax the hand, snap it forward and clinch before making contact. Do your best to strike with the first two knuckles and keep your wrist in neutral position upon impact. Aim six to eight inches beyond your target. Extend the arm only about 90-95 percent. Keep your chin tucked down toward your chest--this protects your jaw from exposure to being hit. Bring your hand back as fast as you throw it. Move your head on an angle as you throw the punch.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know Upright Stance or Semi-Crouch
