Sun was in the mood for training; his master was at home, but he had at least shown Sun a powerful triple knee jump. It was a left knee to the left rib, right knee to the opponent's abdomen or chest rib while finally delivering a destructive left knee to the abdomen or the chest. He thought it would be rather simple. His wooden training dummy was leaning up against the wall; He set up in the middle of the room and placed weights on its bottom. Sun was more than ready for this training.
Left knee, right knee, left knee, he tried it in the air, he made sure that his first left knee had a form of swinging motion; that would allow it to hit the ribs rather than just smacking him in the stomach. He stood as balanced as possible, the room was quiet, and it helped him train. In a slow motion form he carried out the swinging of his left knee into the air, slightly too high, and he lowered it to be parallel with the dummy. Sun tried it once more, almost perfectly level with the rib alignment on the dummy. Sun moved closer, now in front of the dummy, and swung his left knee with all his force. It hit the wood with a thwack and he decided to try the rest of the move.
He moved back and started to work with his right knee. He was planning on aiming at the opponent’s chest rather than the abdomen. Sun mirrored his left knee swing, but this time made it narrower and much higher than the original strike of the left knee. Putting his right leg back on the ground he tried the slow motion movement of the swing. His knee ended up relatively in the area that he had wanted it in. Sun put his foot back on the ground, and tried the move again, his knee rested lower than the chest, and would strike the top of the ribs, which would hurt the opponent but it would hurt Sun just as bad. He threw his leg into the air twice more before he reached the proper height; he needed to warm up before he could reach his full flexibility anyway.
Moving closer to the dummy, Sun practiced just the right knee to the chest; his knee struck the chest cavity almost perfectly. He tried a combo between the left and right knees; it was harder than any of the previous techniques he had learned. The multiple heights would be hard to get used to. His wide left swung struck the dummy in the left of the ribs, and his right knee to the chest. Sun was sure he had these to down. He just needed to practice the last knee to the stomach. This was a knee he had practiced, simple and strong. Sun kept his leg straight and quickly need the air in front of him, relatively where he wanted it. Sun tried it in the slow motion that he had previously used; a low jab to the stomach. The movement was almost perfect.
Three more times he kicked the air making sure most of his power was resting on his knee and not on his thigh; after all it was the finishing move that would hurt the most. He moved towards the Dummy, keeping his balance and swiftly kneeing the dummy with the wide swing of his left leg, then with high right knee. He finished the move with the powerful left knee to the stomach, which rocked the dummy; however, the weights on the bottom were more than enough to keep the dummy right side up. He tried it once more, this time making sure that it was faster, he did not want anyone to knock him to the ground when he wasn’t paying attention. Sun shifted his position slightly, making him feel as if gravity was on his side. The swing to the ribs, the flick to the chest, and the jab to the stomach - The move felt strong and almost natural.0/10Ngoo Lai Tookkae (Alternately knees)
