Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: User can create enduring Shadows through this GenJutsu.
Special: "Handseals"

Description: Each rank of the technique can create a shadow of up to a certain size category from fine to Colossal. At the time of performing the Illusionist chooses whether the shadow created will be a type of equipment or creature. Items created with this GenJutsu are considered to be one-third as real and have one-third the normal strength of the object. There are two types of objects that can be created: Weapons, and Equipment. Weapons created via this GenJutsu are partially real and those who succeed in finding out it is a GenJutsu will still be affected by one third of damage created by the weapon. Those who do not feel that this is a fake will suffer full on attack. Items created have no major significance. They cannot do anything other than look nice or pretty unless they were to harm those who perceive the object such as a stab, or a cut. Creatures shaped are considered one third real with a transparent feel along them. They are one third as strong as a normal creature. Creatures made by this Jutsu have none of the normal qualities such as poisons or helpers. When the user first learns this technique they are only capable of creating objects the size of fine, which is very small and is capable of making just one. When the user learns the "C" Rank of this technique the user is capable of making Diminutive and Tiny objects up to three. When the user learns the "B" Rank of this technique the user is capable of making Small and Medium sized creatures up to five. When the user learns "A" Rank of this technique the user is capable of making Large and Huge Creatures up to seven creatures. When the user learns the "S" Rank of this technique the user is capable of making Gargantuan to Colossal sized creatures up to nine.
Limit: Must know the Shadow Perception
Kyofu approached the training field, a small area of flat area with obstructions and training equipment sparsely spread out around where she now stood. The wind was picking up, blowing her cloak about her body, but the buttons keeping it sealed held fast against the gentle breeze. Shifting the lowest of her three pairs of arms, she flexed the fingers of each of her two lower hands one by one, adjusting her grip on the clawed gauntlets hidden among the billowing cloak. She wouldn't be needing her extra arms for this exercise, and despite the overwhelming urge to stretch them she knew her opponent would soon be arriving.
She knew the basics of her craft, a Genjutsu that subjected the target to the terrors of their subconscious, and she found many uses for such a technique, but alone it had no force. No power. She would still need to subdue an opponent, disable them in such a way that they couldn't or wouldn't fight back. She would begin by crafting her Genjutsu into a weapon itself, a means of attacking her opponents directly.
"Hey, you came! I.. I was worried you wouldn't be here." Kyofu turned to look at the young boy she had lured here, brought unwarily into her web. He was only a year older than her, and he was already becoming a very skilled ninja. Soon he would reach a level of skill that would allow him to enter the Chuunin Exams. Without a word she approached the boy, who she knew as Kor, swirling a mass of webbing about within her mouth discreetly. She opened her arms in a friendly manner, a faint smile on her lips.
The moment his hands began to wrap around her waist, with her arms behind him, she began to form the seals for Awakened Fears, focusing her Genjutsu onto Kor. Within a few moments the young boy began to twitch, and he thrust out both palms, knocking Kyofu backwards onto her rear. Kor began to back away, eyes wide as wild visions of his greatest inner fears boiled to the surface. Flailing now in an attempt to bat away that which had begun to haunt him, he was completely open. Kyofu spat out the webbing she had accumulated in the form of a net, catching the distracted Kor entirely by surprise and dragging him down as the mana-infused web wrapped around him, dragging his writhing form to the ground and causing him to become stuck to that.
The techniques she had been practicing came together exactly as planned, and with this confirmed she couldn't help but grin at the thought of her own success. Now was the time to begin her real training.
Standing over the bound Kor, who was already struggling against his bonds, Kyofu began to form a series of handseals meant to form a weapon of shadow to her hand. Once performed she focused her chakra, attempting to form a kunai in her palm. Visualizing the shape, the weight, the sharpened edge with which to cut into her victims. Fear, formed of pain. She wouldn't be denied her research. She continued to channel chakra into her palm. Kor was making concentration difficult now, screaming obscenities as he attempted to escape the terrible visions instilled upon him, and so she once more began to form web within her mouth.
Much to her dismay, however, there was no kunai in her hand when she looked. She had formed nothing, and with an almost angry snarl she spit a small wad of webbing at Kor, sealing his mouth with sticky webbing so that he wouldn't continue to disrupt her. With Kor's screams muffled, she performed the handseals again and began to channel the chakra into her palm, forming a kunai in her mind's eye.
