Personality:
Weedle is basically the physical embodiment of saying “its bark is worse than its bite.” The girl talks big (which unfortunately gets her into trouble quite often), but when it actually comes to doing the things she threatens, she backs down almost immediately. She’s not a mean girl by any means, and is great company to have around. That is, if you can get through her teasing. She jokes often, and though the things she says may be pushing buttons every now and again, she truthfully means no harm. A grin is almost constantly on her face. If not that, then her tongue will most likely be sticking out in a playful fashion.
The size of the kunoichi’s dreams are possibly the only thing that rivals her mouth. She hopes to one day become the Tsuchikage. Even if her dreams and personality are a bit childish, Weedle demands respect, no matter the age or status of the person she’s with. She claims that she is ‘almost thirteen, and should be treated like an adult!’
While respect may be a large issue to the small girl, don’t expect it to be returned so easily. Respect has to be earned. It wouldn’t matter to her if you were a jounin, she’d simply think ‘What can you do that any other jounin can’t?’ The only ones that have ever been the exception to this are her family, and of course, the Kage’s.
Appearance:
Weedle has hair that is pale khaki in hue. For the most part, the mid-back tresses are pulled back into a ponytail, but a few pieces are shorter than the rest, and fall out to each side of her head. In the front, her hair is parted slightly more to the left, with bangs that hit her cheeks. Though, the longer pieces in front of her ears reach her chin. Also on the left portion of her bangs is an untamable hair, flipping out to the left as opposed to framing her face like the rest do.
Large, energetic eyes are a vibrant violet that leans more towards the warm side of the color spectrum; an excellent contrast to the hair that seems dull at times. A sleeveless black fishnet top is partially covered by a short dull green vest, trimmed with grey fabric around all sides. This vest is left open, and only stretches about halfway down her abdomen, leaving most of the fishnet exposed. Black shorts go halfway down her thigh, and are worn underneath a knee length skirt. The skirt is the same color scheme as the vest, with a slit along the right side that goes up to her hip, allowing easier movement.
On each arm, just below the shoulder, she wears a black armband. These bands are where the claws are attached when not in use, simply hooking in place. Her hands are covered with black, fingerless gloves. A plate on the back of the hand allows the claws to attach when they need to be. The gloves are only ebony in color up to the knuckles, where they then change to fishnet, up to the first knuckle of each digit.
The outfit is completed with knee-high ninja shoes with a very slight heel, and her hitai-ate, tied in the traditional spot around her forehead.
History:
The Wikou clan is not well known in the village for their fighting techniques, nor are they disgustingly wealthy or high in status. Yes, the home is large, but that’s because it has an equally large family to hold. As well, they need the extra room for settling disagreements. Weedle grew up surrounded by a male-dominant family. Her Father, three uncles, and seven brothers all looking to get an easy laugh at the female’s expense.
She had no sisters to be ‘girly’ with, and her mother and aunts were always busy in the kitchen, or out shopping, or decorating, or just ‘too busy’ to play house and dress up with the growing girl. And thus, she grew and developed so that she could play with the only people that paid attention to her. Weedle entered the academy as soon as she possibly could, which turned out to be the day after her sixth birthday. She studied hard, and trained every day. As time throughout that year progressed, her marks were some of the highest in the class.
By this point, there were lots of young girls who would have loved to play with her, often asking if she wanted to make flower wreaths with them. However, she’d started to become obsessed with her training, and turned down the attention she’d craved in her younger years. After her first year, her twelve year old brother brought up that he didn’t think Weedle should be in the academy. He figured he should have been enrolled, and Weedle should have stopped shortly after taking the special flower arrangement class. The girl claimed he was just jealous. Sibling bickering ensued, and the fight thus needed to be ‘settled.’
