Alexander walked outside the village. He had heard of some man wandering the countryside looking for a challenge in the terms of speed. The Achilles was up for such a simple challenge. The man was said to be rather fast but Alexander was fast as well. He was even faster when he didn’t have his sword, and right now he only had one sword upon him. He had striped all his other items for this mission. He only brought a Katana with him. Really that is all he needed anyway. He carried a lot of swords but he could do well with just one, and if he needed more he could always summon them. He had been walking looking for this man now for at least a good twenty minutes and reports had told him that the man was in this general area. Alexander stopped for moment and wondered if the man have given up on a worthy challenge and left the area. That was until he heard someone asking for a race. Well surely this was the man he was looking for? Alexander began to walk further down the road towards the voice. Upon reaching the area he found a man standing before a crowd of traveling people. All of whom were ignoring him and giving him strange looks. Alexander smiled the man did not care. He just wanted to race someone, anyone, it seemed. The Achilles of the Hidden Mist approached him and spoke loud as he did so. ”What does one get, pretell, for beating you in a foot race?” he asked simply.
The man looked at him and with a raised eyebrow, but a smile of satisfaction and a little disbelief, he spoke ”One gets the right to call themselves the faster person in the world.” the man retorted in a somewhat cocky attitude. Alexander laughed at this answer and then looked at the man. He would try his hand at racing this man, and he wondered if the man was as fast as he thinks he is. Once again the Chuunin spoke to the man. ”And where would the two of you run to? he asked with a smile on his face. To this the man’s eyes lite up and his smile grew and his body turned swiftly. He outstretched his arm and pointed towards a cloth hanging up on a tree branch. The distance was a good quarter of a mile down the road. Alexander smiled and rotated his neck, showing that his was loosening up. He looked at the man and smiled, ”Then let us race shall we?” he asked him. To which the man immediately went into limbering himself up. Alexander watched as the man stretched. The man then drug his foot in the dirt making a line. Alexander figured this was the starting line and he manned it, in full armor. The man looked at him for a moment and then laughed. Alexander just shrugged it off and took his position. The man then prepared them by counting down from three. Upon reaching three they started their race to the cloth hanging in the tree. Alexander saw the man was actually pretty fast, but so was Alexander.
He dug his feet into the ground, and due to his training with weapons and armor he pushed off with a great deal of strength and power. Alexander had trained with his armor and weapons on so much that they were practically apart of his body. His movements were fluid and his movements almost seamless. The young Kaishin began to gain speed and started to pass the man by even greater distances. Due to combat and every day carrying his mighty and giant sword, the Masamune, he was always weighed down. Even then he was able to move quite fast. Taking away such a sword and the weight of the other swords, weapons, and other items he always carried, his speed went up ever more. The Katana he carried on him, was positioned in the center of his back, this made it easier to run with. Alexander made a quick glance back, the man was starting to look frustrated that a fully geared man was beating him in a foot race. He was really trying now, his face turning red as he ran harder. Alexander on the other hand was not actually running as fast as he could. He had made up his mind not to actually start sprinting until he got closer to the end of the race. And so, as he reached the end of the quarter mile mark, he shifted his feet to where he was running on the tips of his toes. This increased his speed and he pushed off with more force. He exploded and began to run at an extreme speed. As he flew towards the tree he passed under the piece of cloth. The man was still running as Alexander could see, when he turned back. The man was a good ten feet behind him and Alexander smiled. The man was out of breath and just looking at the young Kaishin. As he regained his breath he placed a hand to his chest and nodded his defeat. Alexander spoke up once more, ”So I guess this makes me the fastest man in the world huh?” he would say to the man laughing. The man would start to laugh as well, and Alexander started to walk back towards the village. He patted the man on his back. He was a good racer, he was just not as well trained as a ninja.
