It was just another peaceful autumn afternoon in Kumogakure no Sato, the temperature a steady fifty-seven degrees Fahrenheit, sunlight broke through the casual clouds above, a light breeze from the West would have a slight chill upon it. Though this peaceful afternoon was nothing like any other as the sirens quickly tore through the serenity. The siren blared over the Village from various points, soon after the noise a voice would come over the same system. "This is not a drill, we are experiencing a CODE BLACK! This is not a drill, we are experiencing a CODE BLACK! This is not a drill, we are experiencing a CODE BLACK!" the message would play over itself a few times before the sirens quickly filled the air once more. A CODE BLACK was a code for invasion or attack upon the Village, the walls would be breached an no civilian was safe from the onslaught. Every shinobi would be aware of this code within the Village if they had a communications device upon them, they would remember to switch it to the emergency channel of XX-17 to communicate on a private station within the Village. In a case of this CODE, there are to be three strong points held, a medical triage center just outside of the Hospital, a strong hold to protect civilian and children is located outside of the Raikage's tower and last but not least is the protection of the Village Gate. Each shinobi would have a job to preform should this code be called, they each were assigned a location. Should they take down any of these three locations the Village would fall shortly after.


Large golden transports would hover over the buildings, men would leap down from the sides that opened up. They were armed in strange gear iron armor with rubber attached beneath it to counter the basic idea of Raiton no Jutsu. They were larger than most around them, standing at roughly six feet if not taller and weighing in at over one hundred-eighty pounds not including the weight of their armor. Some were armed with swords upon their hips but others would be using nothing but their fists. As their feet would hit the ground they immediately began to attack any villager or shinobi around them.

The Center was located on the grounds of the Hospital with little natural defense. The shinobi assigned to this position were mostly the medical professionals enlisted. Though a few would be assigned to this location to guard those whom worked hard to save lives. The center itself was a large series of white tents with various supplies and equipment available to the medics. As for natural defenses the area around the hospital was tight buildings leaving little area for large open area combat. This would give those whom guarded the area a chance to use guerrilla warfare tactics on their opponents.

The entire village was being invaded by men whom seemed to be moving in from the sky and probably other areas as well. I had the perfect view of the sky as Toska, Nayeli and I made our way toward the Medical Center, and all I could see is more men dropping down from hovering crafts. Despite everything was perfect before the invasion happened, I could not help but to be confused about this whole situation. And where was the Raikage? My worry was for Sky since this area was close to where his body lay comatose, but before I checked on him, I would need to find my way to the Hospital without further conflict. “Hello, is there anyone here? I have asked you a question?!” I snapped into my communications device which was strapped to my right ear. Should anyone be on the other end, I was bound to get an answer soon. However, as I rounded the corner, the Center was spilling into view. At this, I stopped to take in my surroundings while both my Huskies watched my flank. A large amount of tends were scattered around the yard, each set up and looking as if they had been freshly supplied with medical equipment. I glanced down at myself, knowing that my overbust red corset would attract attention along with my casual black jeans and two inch heeled boots. I begin to walk briskly toward the Center, patting my butt – bag to gather the feel of my ten kunai knives, two knives, fifty seven senbon needles and one hundred exploding tags to ensure myself that they were still there. Strapped tightly to my back was my small field pack that was filled with twenty four Bloodclot pills, one Binocular and three Solider Pills. My long ice blond hair was tied back into a thick braid with large bags hanging loosely around my face to soften my appearance since I wore fire engine red lipstick and thick black eye-liner, which heightened the brightness of my powerfully emerald colored eyes. Although Sky doesn't know that my hair is now blonde, that is because I recently dyed it since he has been in a coma. But as I neared the scene, I didn't seem to see anyone in sight, just where was everyone?

If an opponent comes to a Brawler at a bar, and attacks with a sword, or a club, the brawler gains the urge to dodge to the left, or to the right, where they are capable of reacting before the action is completed. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. Tatsu ran up to the medical center, Nera wrapped around his torso, hidden within his clothing. As the white tents of the Center came into view, the young shinobi slowed down and looked around, surveying the area. It wasn’t very defensible, but there was potential. Still, he couldn’t find many actual combat shinobi around, mainly only medical supplies. This was going to be a problem.

Raika made sure all of his equipment was in check. His Itosen Dagekimi katana—along with the basic katana he had looted from the lieutenant earlier—hung on his left side and a Type 3 Utility Belt around his waist, which held 28 kunai, 45 hira-shuriken, 1 spring razor, 1 multi-tool, 63 explosive tags, 8 lightning tags, a pair of goggles--which had anti-flash lenses as well as thermal, night, and x-ray vision--5 thermal capsules, and a lock picking kit. Eight of the kunai had explosive tags already attached to them, four with normal explosive tags, and four with lightning explosive tags. A hidden short short was held right above the utility belt on Raika's back, with the blade itself hidden within the sheath. It was a kind of assassin tool, as the blade--about half a meter in length--would extend out of the sheath (which looked just like a patterned rectangular piece of metal about a third of a meter in length).He had strapped on his wireless radio to his neck, and set it to the XX-17 emergency channel. He then focused his voice into the radio, trying to find anyone that could provide assistance.

“Hello, is anyone there? This is Raika. If you can hear me, I am at the medical center. The enemy is using rubber within their suits of armor to stop lightning jutsu, so be careful. I could use assistance here, if it can be spared.

The genin began walking around, trying to see if he could find anyone. Then, he noticed a blonde-haired woman, wearing a bright red corset with black jeans and platform heels. Peculiar, but not completely unusual. At the very least it attracted attention, which was both good and bad. Still, she was obviously not an enemy, and in fact she seemed quite familiar, no doubt she was also a Kumo nin. Two dogs followed her, dogs which seemed pretty strong in their own right. In any case, Raika ran up to her, hoping for the best.

“Milady!” cried the young shinobi, hopefully catching the attention of the woman, or at least her dogs, as he began to make his way towards her. He was glad that he wasn’t the only shinobi here; well, assuming she was a ninja as well.

As Tatsuta had arrived with her two huskies, the scene was a bit quiet, eery at best. Though just after the young male genin arrived and called out to her, it would be as if some kind of barrier was broken. Chaos would roll across the scene as medics with stretchers seemed to come out of nowhere with injured civilians and shinobi alike. Shouts of people trying to get through would be heard but jumbled amongst all the voices. The distance between Tatsu and the Chuunin would be quickly filled by bodies of people rushing in all directions. "YOU BOY, OVER HERE NOW!" shouted quite the good looking female nurse, her voice would pierce the ears of the young Genin. Should he look to his right in her direction he would see a single soldier of the invading force approaching her. The grunt was armed with nothing more than a Katana in his hand, he was three meters from the nurse, though the duo was fifteen meters from Tatsu.

Though while all of this happened Tatsuta would be grabbed on the arm by a struggling young Genin, he'd suffered a slash across his left eye, his left hand holding blood soaked bandages up to his face. "Please... help me!" his wounds weren't fatal should the bleeding be stopped, though the vision in his eye would be gone forever. Should she pull the bandages back to assist him, she'd see his eyeball would be hanging loose from the socket due to the large gash from the blade. The horrors of war were sure to sink in to all those whom called themselves Shinobi on this dark day.

How would the two shinobi respond? Were they capable of protecting such a chaotic scene while assisting those whom might need it? Was back up even on their way to help them? Only time could tell now...

In an invasion, I would have half expected this place to be buzzing with patients and medical personnel. My gaze drifted to the left, then the right as I neared one of the white tents. The distance would roughly be 2.5 meters when I heard someone yell out to me from behind. Toska whirled around, crouching into a defensive stance at the newcomer, startled, I realized it was one of the Genin from Kumo and waved slightly. “What is going on? Do you know?” I asked, probably sounding completely dumbfounded. But at the sound of his exclaim, noises suddenly burst into the area, the volume suddenly overwhelming to my highly sensitive ears. Suddenly all I could see was the busy station of a hospital. Patients and medics rushed everywhere, filling the distance that the Genin and myself in less than two seconds. Shocked, I found I was incapable of moving since all of this has not sunk in yet. But as I spotted the nurse yelling out toward the Genin a fair distance away, I also noticed how two foes were also closing in on her as well. How they managed to get in this area was beyond me, but after a quick glance toward both my Huskies, both Toska and Nayeli began to dart in that direction with haste. Should they both make it in time, both Huskies would leap into the air but feet away from the two assailants and attempt to deliver two single kicks toward the mens chests to knock them to the ground. I too, made an attempt to move there when my arm was suddenly grabbed in urgency, Whirling around, my gaze fell upon an injured Shinobi and the first thing I noticed was the blood flowing from a slashed eye that was being covered by a soaking bandage. “Oh dear, what happened here?!” I asked the Genin, my tone turning sympathetic while I gently lead him to the tent 2.5 meters to our left. Once inside, I would sit him down on the gurney and ask him to lie down. During that time I would move over to a small table where a bowl of clean water and a few bandages were sitting beside a tray of medical equipment. Dragging that over toward my patient I would carefully dip the new cloth into the dish and remove the patient's bandage. “Just relax and I will see what I can do.” I say soothingly and gaze into the almost empty eye socket. While I clear away the blood around the Genin's face, my right hand would begin to glow a piercing white color as I quickly began to clean out the wound for infections. All the while I was aware of the noises surrounding me outside the tent. Both my Huskies would be outside, attempting to fend off any enemies from attempting to harm the citizens while I used my medical training to help save lives. Once the wound was thoroughly cleaned, the white glow would dim in brightness as the blood flowing from the patient's eye would lessen significantly. I would then move in closer to examine the damage. The patient's eye appeared to have almost been entirely severed, and the eyeball itself was completely damaged. My expression turned grim at this as my glowing hand changed from a dim white to a bright green. The severed areas around the skin itself were healed within seconds but there was no chance to save the actual eye. “I am sorry, sir but your eye has been too badly damaged. I cannot save it at all..” I said softly while my glowing hand changed to another different color. I needed to numb him first before severing the eye completely. The soft purple glow engulfed his socket, enveloping that section of his face before the patient slowly began to relax, his right eye was closed yet his eyebrows were taunt. He was relaxed but very uncomfortable. However, once my index and middle fingers extended, a two inch scalpel of my chakra suddenly formed before I swiftly severed the eyeball from it's cords leading into his eye and remove the sections quickly before the blood flow increased any further. However, once that was completed, I would stop the bleeding again and patch up the eye socket with new, fresh, clean bandages. “I am so sorry..” I said, my tone extremely sympathetic.

Seimei no Jutsu (Clean and Pure Technique) [10]

Effect: Cleans out a wound so that it can be bandaged and fixed properly.
Special: ---
Drawback: The technique is difficult to use on large wounds, requiring greater chakra precision to ensure a properly cleaned wound. Is not effective against poisons unless the technique is administered immediately on the area where the poison was entered, and only works on poisons which are placed upon items, and not poisons that are inhaled. Only removes Poisons D Rank or lower.
Description: As everyone within the medical profession is aware, in order to stimulate proper healing without fear of infection, a wound, before healing, should be properly cleaned. In order to save patients from experiencing a greater amount of pain, a medical genius invented this technique. By channeling chakra through the hands, a clear white light envelops them. Then, channeling this white chakra into the wound, the user removes impurities within the wound, such as dirt and grime. It also works to actively remove bacteria in the area of the wound. Once completed, the wound is clean and ready to heal. This technique, as a side effect, helps reduce the visibility of scarring as a result of injury. One movement for every six inches is required.

Ketsuki Gyouku (Blood Coagulation) [10][20][70]

Effect: Stops blood flow from injuries through clotting.
Special: ---
Drawback: Large wounds can take a long time to stop the blood flow from.
Description: The user focuses chakra around their hands, creating a faint white glow around their hands. The user then places their hands on the wound, focusing chakra into the blood and coagulating it. Minor wounds take three movements to clot, whilst major ones require six movements, and critical injuries, such as a severed limb, requires nine movements to clot. For every rank above D you possess of this technique, remove one movement from the coagulation, to a minimum of one. For every difficulty rank above D you possess, remove one movement from the process.
Limit: Must be a medic.

Shosen no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique) [10][20][70][100]
Rank: D, C, B, A, S
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The user heals injuries that repairs physical damage.
Special: ---
Drawback: certain injuries may be impossible to cure or may take a long time to cure. The amount of chakra used is proportional to the injury required to be healed.
Description: The user gathers chakra into their hands, creating a bright green glow around them. The user then forces the healing chakra into the body of the patient, healing physical damage. This technique requires three movements to heal a minor injury and six movements to heal a major injury, minus one for every rank in this technique above D the user possesses, to a minimum of one. Starting at B rank, the user is able to heal critical injuries with this technique. Healing a critical injury requires sixteen movements, minus one movement for every rank above B the user possesses. Remove one movement from this process for every difficulty rank above D the user possesses.
Limit: Must be a medic, must know Gantai no Jutsu.

Chakra Enjitou (Chakra Scalpel) [20]

Effect: The user creates a two inch long scalpel of chakra extending from the tips of their fingers.
Special: ---
Drawback: If the user is struck with a C rank or higher technique their concentration will falter and the scalpel will dissolve.
Description: The user gathers a powerful aura of chakra around their fingers, creating a faint blade shape extending from their fingertips and glowing blue. This scalpel is two inches long and, if the user chooses, can be extended beneath the skin, to cut without breaking the skin. This scalpel is as hard as steel and can cut through muscles, arteries, and bones.
Limit: Must be a medic, must know Shosen no Jutsu.

Masuiyaku no Jutsu (Art of the Anesthetic) [20]

Skill: Medical Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to cause numbing chakra to enter into a target location, removing the sense of pain there.
Special: ---
Drawback: The technique, due to the exact nature of the chakra transplantation, cannot be performed in battle unless the opponent has been restrained.
Description: A medical technique that is meant to aid those in surgery from suffering from pain. Gathering chakra, the user will then release a soft purple glow from their hands which, when placed upon body, will slowly seep into the target location. Capable of effecting up to one square foot of flesh per turn, the user will maintain this technique until all areas that will suffer from surgical procedures have been effected. The purple chakra targets nerve receptors and pain receptors in a manner that completely numbs and immobilizes it. With intense chakra control, the user is capable of numbing areas around a specific area while purposely missing others; an example of this would be to completely numb the chest, but skip the heart so that it continues to beat, and the lungs so that breathing may continue. This effect lasts until the pain and nerve receptors have been healed by the use of Shosen no Jutsu or until they heal naturally over time. Using Shosen, it takes one movement per square foot of flesh to heal the receptors.
Limit: Must have Shosen no Jutsu "C" Rank. Medical Ninjutsu.

Those who get hit by a Brawler's Iron Fist feel a knock back effect depending on the user's class. Special: --- Drawback: The user is only capable of performing this attack so many times per day depending on how many times the user knows this technique as well as the Class level of the user. Description: When the user first learns this technique they are capable of performing this technique a total of five times per day as well as any other technique that is in conjunction of the Iron Fist. Every time this technique is learned the user is capable of performing this technique as well other techniques into conjunction one more time. A code black, and she should have known from the very start but due to her own selfishness, it had caused her only to head to the tower and claim her title as a Chunin and therefore not hearing or seeing what was around her. What sort of a shinobi was she? It sometimes made her think. But now that the statement was clear and that the village was indeed in trouble, she made her way toward the Medical Triage Center at full speed. Knowing full well that she did not have any medical skills, but at least she could help save them through attack and defence, also knowing full well that her battling skills were not great, that she could not control herself once enraged, she just hoped that she could help accepting the fact that she may die out there. Either way that was how Adelpha took it as she left the tower. And so as her seven inch heels cracked the pavement, she dashed her way toward her location, slipping her hand into her leather trench coat and pulling out her communications device before tuning it to channel XX-17 and listening in to see if there was any farther instructions to be followed. Meanwhile in her leather corset, the same clothing she had traveled to the Chunins in, she made her turn toward the center just outside the hospital. A cast above her she saw the large golden transport hovering over the main buildings, and a chill of both excitement and anger surged throughout her. She would watched as the men in strange armor leap out of the hovering bucket of bolts and make their way toward earth. And knowing that she wouldn't make it in time due to her major drawback of speed, she just hoped that when she got there, all the fun had not been taken out yet. As she studied the figures in armor and rubber, she noted how tall they were, what weapons they held and also judging their weight by just appearance. Heavy bastards, but maybe, just maybe with her inhuman strength she could take them down with hardly any sweat. Such cockiness but her strength had not failed her before. Adelpha dashed into the series of white tents, looking for a hold up on what she could do from there. And also, by multitasking, she crystallized the air around her and coated her already exquisite skin and muscle structure in pure crystal. As her crystal armor coated her entire body, she watched as if in slow motion as the chaos went around her. She was filled with both eagerness as well as concern. What had this world come to? She noted the medical ninja carrying stretchers with injured shinobi on them white pallets. And with the urge to follow the nearest one near her she moved, with her hands into fists, and her eyes alert finally. Her trench coat opened as she made her way into the tent off to her right, revealing a tight black leather corset, white skin and her leather leggings hugging her legs with fashion as well as protection. Upon her hips, showed two butt bags containing weapons she had not used in the chunnin exams, but may as well use them here. Her right butt bag held the items: 4 Fragmentation grenades; 2 each the same amount in Mine and Smoke grenades; 6 blood Clot Pills; 4 each again in both Kunai's and knifes. And last to fill the entire right butt bag held the items: 15 Darts. In her left butt bag held the items: 20 of each, Exploding tags; Exploding Mine; Incendiary; Elemental Lightning; and Elemental Ice. Somewhere on her entire, hidden from prying eyes, was her Meteki, she will only use that if need be. But hopefully not as what genjutsu could she do when playing her flute? Shōton: Crystallization [10][50][80][100] Rank: C, B, A, S Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Allows the user to create crystal to varying degrees. Special: Handseals of the technique it is used with.. Drawback: It is impossible to crystallize electricity, wind, or fire. Any element that lacks a physical presence can not be crystallized. Sound Jutsu will act as if one rank stronger then their designated technique when being pitted against crystal. Sound techniques use their high frequency and vibration qualities to essentially shatter your crystals, as opposed to just break them, if they are geared towards acts of that nature *ie they are meant to damage physically and not some sort of genjutsu or the like*. When calculating damage vs the durability of your crystal, remember to add it together. If one person does an A rank vs you crystal that can withstand S rank, you can only endure one A rank more unless the crystal is redone/fixed which becomes costly. Description: Using your abilities with the crystal release skill you are able to create crystal either by transforming the particles in the air, or a more prominent substance. The technique is your essential crystal technique. It governs two things: the amount of crystal you can create at once, and the strength of your crystalline constructs. At C rank the user is able to crystallize up to a 5x5 section of material per movement dedicated to the process after handseals. This of course can be edited to be proportionally the same such as a 6x4 meter area etc. Also, when you have this skill at C rank, your crystalline constructs are able to endure C rank damage before shatter. This defensive power stacks with whatever technique this is used with if applicable. As your rank increases so to does this techniques power. At B rank, your ability to crystallize becomes a 10x10 meter area, and its able to withstand up to a B rank. At A rank it increases to 20x20 meters, and is able to withstand up to an A rank amount of damage. At S ranks it increases once more to 40x40 meter area, and again is able to withstand an S rank amount of damage. With this technique the user is able to transport through crystalline structures of their own creation at a speed of 5 meters per movement (kind of like underground fish projectile). This technique is generally used passively within other techniques. This technique also allows a user to somewhat “dismiss” their crystal creations at will. When doing so the crystal seems to basically disintegrate. Limit: Must have the Crystal release. Kesshō no Yoroi (Crystal Release: Crystal Armor) [10] Rank: C Skill: NinJutsu Effect: This jutsu allows the user to become encased in a thin sheet of crystal to protect them from blunt force trauma. This armor can also aid the user in performing stronger physical attacks. The crystal is transparent and can only be noticed by light reflecting off it. Special: "Handseals" Drawback: None Description: Picture Forming the needed hand seals, the user encases themselves in a crystalline armor. It is transparent, but is able to reflect light. It has the ability to block two C rank attack plus whatever your skill in Crystallization before breaking, and lends itself to enhancing punching/kicking taijutsu damage by a D rank due to it adding a slight amount of weight to the strike. Not sure how much, if any, that would change your response, since both dogs can still attack the same invader, but I will be responding as if there was only one. Also, sorry for the shortish post, busy as of late, but want things to keep running.]]


Chaos.....

That's what the scene before Raika had become. He hadn't even been able to make it to the blonde-haired shinobi he had called out to before the flood gates were open, and mounds of people crowded the area between the two ninja. Looks like the quiet was over.

"YOU BOY, OVER HERE NOW!"

Tatsu turned quickly towards the call, which apparently was directed towards him. However, the nurse’s heeding was quickly lost as Raika noticed an enemy warrior closing in on her. Tatsu reacted quickly, not even realizing that the female shinobi he had called to earlier had sent her dogs towards the assailant as well.

Raika placed his hand on the hilt of his Itosen katana and used a forward shunshin to close the gap between him and the attacker quickly, using a split second opening to make sure he didn’t hit anyone. It barely worked, as he had to dodge a medic the very moment he reached the end of the distance. He was now only 5 meters away from the assailant, but the man was slightly closer to the nurse as well. Unfortunately, another medic stood in the way of the genin and the invader, but there was a way around that obstacle. Tatsu unsheathed his blade with stunning speed diagonally, unleashing a wave of air pressure that was as sharp as his blade but would not cut through the armor of his foe completely, meaning no casualties. The wave seemed to hit the medic that was in the way, yet it merely went around him, continuing on towards the warrior. Hopefully that would take care of him, but if not it would at least knock him back away, more than likely in time to save the nurse, though anything could happen.

It was for that reason that despite sending out his projectile air pressure attack, Raika had not stopped running towards the assailant. By now he was closing in, readying to take on the warrior should he have survived the first technique. By this point he still hadn’t noticed the dogs, but they were bound to be nearby, if they hadn’t already made it. There was no way they could have been caught in the crossfire of Raika’s attack, since he had body flickered to close distance. Raika also began unraveling the shock wire that was wrapped around his sword, preparing to attack the assailant if he was still alive.

  Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush forward in almost instantaneous speed. Used to draw the user close to the opponent.

  Drawback: May use 3 times a day. May perform 1 more each time learned. Passing amount renders the user's legs immobile due to severe pain. Unable to perform again unless gained medical treatment. Must move through an opening. Unable to maneuver around obstructing objects. Can't attack while performing any Shunshin or Variation.
  Description: User is able to move forward in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by focusing the user's chi along the ankles and foot. User mostly moves just with their ankles and feet. Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.

  Description: A technique developed for hostage situations. A user performs Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike). When Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) is struck the wave of force misses the first person or object while it redirects, smacking into a target directly behind. This can be used at conjunctions for buildings and other objects as well. Depending on the user's knowledge of Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) depends on the strength of they are able to perform in this technique. Depending on the user's Class depends on the distance of Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) divided by two for Gosei Ryuu: Itenryusen (Moving Dragon Strike) distance.

[Kuro]

Quick movements were called upon by both shinobi and their allies. As the blonde Chuunin sent her canines after the lone attacker, she'd be halted by a medical call. Her actions would be successful and the man would be able to leave her immediate vicinity allowing her to focus once more. Though in a shorter period of time the young Genin had flickered forward and then unleashed a well placed attack from the Blade Saint style, the blast missing the nurse but connecting with the invader. The attack would knock the invader down, his katana would fall from his grip, as he slid across the ground, he'd seem a bit stunned. As he was attempting to scramble back to his feet, the invader would see his blade only a meter away from him. He'd leap for it, leaving him open, the question was whom would strike first, the dogs or the Genin?

As the new arrival showed up, she'd coat her body in crystal, just in time mind you. Above her rested a transport, the loud hovering sound would drown out the cries of those around Adelpha. Six grunts would drop to the ground around her. She was quickly surrounded by the men whom carried nothing more than katana's in their right hands. The transport would quickly take off and leave the scene allowing the female to hear the mocking laughter of the grunts.

"Oh god there's more of them!" a single man yelled as he pointed towards the six that surrounded Adelpha. This man was closer to Tatsuta than anyone else. So far the team was doing well, the question was could they keep it up?

I did misread Kuro's post, however he did correct me in his latest post. Just ignore that section that I wrote. Sorry about that, love. The chaos surrounding me echoed horribly in my ears as I moved swiftly in my attempt at saving my patient. I realized that I had successfully removed my patient's eye and stepped aside for him to be on his way. He looked fine as he moved and didn't seem bothered by the loss of his eye. But I knew that once the battle was over and if he survived, the effects will kick in. I exit my tent then and the center's chaos was definitely befitting a war zone. But as I moved further out of the tent, I spotted that the Genin that had tried getting my attention earlier had just appeared five meters away from a nurse that was in trouble and that both my Huskies were currently running toward that area. However, after seeing the solider drop his katana, Nayeli quickly lowered herself to the ground and rushed in to try ripping out the man's throat while he attempted to reach for his weapon. I frowned at this for a moment because I just realized that despite Nayeli is new to the pack, she was found in the wild and was not completely domesticated yet. However, should Nayeli's vicious attack fail to kill the solider, Toska would move in as well since he was at least 2 seconds behind his mate; his maw clamped down on the soldier’s right ankle as if that would hold him still while the Genin finished him off. But when a large hover craft lowered itself down to the ground, I noticed that six more men were dropping down from the vehicle and were beginning to crowed around another Shinobi dressed in clothing best fitting a female escort. Her violet hair instinctively told me that she was my friend, Amarantha (since Tatsuta doesn't know Amara has another personality). However, just as the sixth man was 3 seconds away from touching the ground, I quickly launched a single senbon toward the left side of his neck. The silver projectile shot through the air with deadly force at least 20 inches above the heads of the crowed. So unless no one jumped, the senbon should strike him directly in the neck and save Amara the trouble of facing six men at once. Once this was done, my attention raised up toward the hovercraft slowly raising into the air. With a quick estimate, I figured that the craft was at least 10 meters above the crowed, low enough for me to do enough damage. I throw my body forward, focusing a certain amount of chakra into both my arms and thighs and dug my hands deep into the earth below. My emerald gaze sliced through the air as the craft continued to raise. But as I heaved slightly, the ground beneath me began to rip as a large chunk of earth, approximately the size of a motorcycle rose out of the ground before me with one yank. I then twisted my body sharply to the right and threw the large boulder toward the craft in an attempt at damaging it to the point when it would crash into the ground several feet south of the center. Once I let go of the boulder, I would turn and run in the direction of Amarantha to aide her in battle should no one stop me before hand.

Effect: You rip up a piece of the ground at your feet and throw it at your opponent. The amount of chakra you use dictates just how much of the ground you are able to pick up. IE: You can pick up a small, shoe sized amount or you can rip out enough that it is the size of a car.
Special: None
Drawback: The larger the amount you wish to pick up is the more time and chakra is required. ( Ripping up a 100 pound piece of ground would require around five seconds and a moderate amount of chakra.)
Description: By focusing chakra into the hands you are able to bend over and rip up some of the ground below you then hurl it at your opponents. Is also extremely useful against flying opponents.
Limit: Must be atleast Champion level and know all D-ranked techniques.

Koushou Senbon Sogekihei (Advanced Senbon Sharpshooter) [60]

This technique is known as a basis of the Canine with the form of user and animal. The user's and animal's strength of level within their jaw becomes grand and powerful. When the user bites down onto their opponent, they gain a lock jaw ability to where their jaw does not let up, pushing out in a locking form. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: The user's muslces are stronger along their jawline to where basic and even strong like punches are uneffective when it comes to breaking the face, or jawline of the user or animal. They concentrate their chakra along the jaws of their mouth and strengthens the muscles making it wher the whole side of the face becomes strong to where when they bite down, an emense amount of force will be needed to let it up. Limit: Part of the Animal Companionship Tree, must have a Canine.

If they posted employment ads for Shinobi hunters, that’d be the number two requirement, right after detail-oriented. A good hitwoman must possess the perfect blend of personality type A and B traits, a control freak who obsesses over every clothing fiber yet projects the demeanor of the most laid-back slacker. After pulling a hit, she could walk past the AnBu officers without so much as a twitch in her heart rate. Adelpha would love to chalk it up to nerves of steel, but the truth was she simply didn't rattle out that easily. But standing in the mist of six giants (If Tatsuta – Hime misses her target), she was so rattled that she could hear her insides clanking. But she had to do something as no imbecile bastards laugh mockingly at her – No body! As the aura was extracted from within, Adel would not stand idly around for more than a second. For as soon as the chakra was compliant for use, she would form the prevalent numbers of zodiac hands signs to create the final effect. And though everything was in slow motion to her, she could tell that the giant armoured males thought little of this woman they had surrounded and so thereby judged her quickly but lousy. Her chakra would instantly surround the cells floating aimlessly within the air, soon extracting the essential nutrition from within. The chakra would suddenly solidify around the entirety of the cell so as to create the perfection of success. The expenditure of chakra would not be a sundry amount, as it simply would invoke a small portion to her chakra supply. However, the proficiency of such little chakra was capable of performing the technique accurately. As soon as the chakra solidified, she would spread it around her in a wide radius. It was as if an artist had taken their paint brush and flung the paint in a 360 degree circle around them. The chakra would drag around her, and as soon as she was capable, she would create the Crystalline matter. In one smooth motion, the Crystal would be erected in sharp numbers. Filling the four meters gap around her instead of the original 40x40 meter mark, Adel would take notice to an army of sharpened Crystal. It was an interesting sight to visualize such great numbers at her disposal and she was 95% sure she had impaled all six if not five members of this invasion. But to be sure she preformed a few set of new hand seals before conquering up a genjutsu that no one would notice until it was too late for them. Shōton: Crystallization [10][50][80][100] Rank: C, B, A, S Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Allows the user to create crystal to varying degrees. Special: Handseals of the technique it is used with.. Drawback: It is impossible to crystallize electricity, wind, or fire. Any element that lacks a physical presence can not be crystallized. Sound Jutsu will act as if one rank stronger then their designated technique when being pitted against crystal. Sound techniques use their high frequency and vibration qualities to essentially shatter your crystals, as opposed to just break them, if they are geared towards acts of that nature *ie they are meant to damage physically and not some sort of genjutsu or the like*. When calculating damage vs the durability of your crystal, remember to add it together. This chakra will run out from the hand forming crystallized spikes to impale their opponent. The spikes have to start around the users hand and go from there. They can never be formed starting from away from the user. You are able to cover an area with these spike based on your rank in Crystallization. So if you wish to make it a wide area of effect, with S rank crystallization you could have a 40x40 area covered in these spikes, whereas if you wanted it to reach further in one direction you could do so as well. Limit: Must know the Crystal Release. // Prepared Jutsu: Tenrai Meimu: Eiei Karasu no Bunshin (Divine Illusion: Eternal Raven Clone) [80] Rank: “B” Rank Skill: Genjutsu Effect: Creates clones that, when hit, turn into a cluster of illusionary ravens that will fly back together within a turn. Special: "Handseals" Drawback: Every time the clones re-form requires additional chakra expenditure on the user’s behalf. Description: The user performs the handseals, creating a much more powerful variation of the Bunshin no Jutsu. These Bunshins, when hit, will fall backwards completely off their feet. Before hitting the ground though, they begin to levitate within the air about an inch from the ground and then, after a few seconds, disperse into a mass of ravens. Within one turn, these Ravens have pieced themselves back together into the regular Bunshin. Limit: Must know Phantasm Perception

Raika’s attack had succeeded, but it wasn’t over. Still, he had saved the nurse, and that’s what mattered, though he hoped she wouldn’t be the last. Now he had to finish off the warrior.

Unfortunately, Raika’s initial jutsu wasn’t strong enough to pierce the armor of the invaders, and he quickly realized that his killing potential in this battle was largely insubstantial. His lightning attacks were basically useless against these attackers, and a lot of his sword attacks would likely not penetrate their thick armor. Still, he wasn’t helpless and he could still deal out some damage, and at the very least he could provide strong support to his teammates. Regardless, he hoped his attacks could at least allow killing blows such as in this instance.

As he neared the assailant, he noticed him reaching for his katana. It was at this point that Raika noticed the dogs that had been with the female shinobi he had called to earlier. Tatsu was slightly surprised by their sudden appearance, at least within his own sight. He then watched one of them burst towards the warrior’s throat in an aim to kill the downed man. Raika doubted that the canine would fail considering its speed, but he noticed that the other dog was ready to assist should that happen. However, Raika unraveled the wire of his sword, ready to use to slit the man’s exposed throat should the dog fail in his endeavor, and Tatsu would make sure neither animal came to harm.

One way or the other, the man was probably going to die. Thankfully, Raika was already accustomed to death, though he had done little actual killing himself. Still, he was cold to the pains that killing might bring, a good trait for a shinobi. In any case, once the deed was done, Tatsu would look in the direction from which the dogs came, the direction of the blonde shinobi he had noticed before. He then noticed she was looking up, seemingly preparing to attack some other foes. Raika looked in the direction that she faced, and noticed the hovercraft and the six warriors that came from it, as well as the female kumo shinobi they were surrounding. Tatsu quickly realized that between the two of them, those six men were unlikely to be alive in this world much longer, and anything he did towards them would probably be a waste, as well as probably obstructive to the women’s attacks. Thus, he put his attention on the hovercraft. He noticed the blonde hurling a boulder towards the hovercraft in an attempt bring it down, and he hoped she succeeded. Tatsu had nothing in his arsenal that would work as well as that boulder in bringing it down, so if that didn’t work, Raika did not like his chances.

With those two things being taken care of, Tatsu surveyed the center quickly, looking for any other warriors besides the ones he had already seen. If he found none, he would begin to run towards the blonde, who now seemed to be heading towards the other female on the roof of a nearby building of the medical center. Hopefully he could be of assistance, and if nothing else, catching up to the two ladies could be useful tactically and planning-wise.

[Kuro]

The movements were fast on behalf of all the kumo shinobi and allies within this area. The first foe meeting his end to the deadly grasp of the canine's mouth, it was fast but certainly not painless. Though this wasn't all that would transpire within a six second window, six men had surrounded the leather clad beauty with the intent to harm her. Though the sixth man wouldn't do much good as his body hit the ground the senbon leave him for dead. Amara herself hadn't wasted any time in her own defense the crystallized attack would spear all five of the wannabe invaders that encircled her. Last but certainly not least, the large chunk of earth was flung hard and fast at the transport, screams from within could be heard as they saw the attack coming. The transport wasn't fast enough and would take the blow directly in the side. The force would ground the ship, though it would go crashing in between two tents, the collateral damage almost took the lives of three injured shinobi a doctor.

"Easy there team, your job is to protect, not destroy," a voice would come over the XX-17 channel. Eyes in the sky no doubt had witnessed the close call of the boulder thrown by Tatsuta. Though after those words echoed through the comm devices, silence of battle would fill the camp. Nothing more than the cries of the wounded. This would allow for the team to gather up and get a game plan running. Though how long would this peace last and how many wounded were left out on the streets of Kumogakure no Sato?

I'm a bit busy at the moment with other things. Oops, nearly killing my village's people was something I was not expecting. Had I not been too reckless, then the tents would have never been subjected to such danger. My attention moved toward the landing craft, emerald eyes scanning the area to see if anyone was harmed, and thankfully there was no casualties. However, once Amarantha had taken care of the five men surrounding her, we would finally reach and contact would be made. I would throw myself onto the woman, gathering her up into a hug before parting briefly to smile at her. “Amarantha! I see you have survived the Chuunin exams. Now tell me, were you successful?” I say, my tone raising so that she could hear me. I was excited to see her, yet concerned for the village's current situation. The voice ringing in my ears over the communicating device reminded me that my duty was to save the citizens and village, not destroy them. “My apologies. But it did bring down the craft did it not?” I said, a hint of a retort in my tone. Toska and Nayeli suddenly dashed across the field and skidded to a halt around Amarantha, yet Nayeli stopped to stand beside me. “This is Nayeli, my new addition to my Husky pack.” I said softly, petting the brown eyed husky gently while she licked the grunts blood from her lips. But as the Genin arrived toward the group, my smile beamed as I greeted him. “Nice work out there. Hope you didn't mind the help from my Huskies. That's Toska and this is Nayeli.” I said, pointing toward both Huskies as I introduced them. “Be aware of Nayeli though, she is not completely domesticated as she has recently been brought in from the wild.” I explained warily before folding my arms. “Now, what's the plan guys?” I then asked, turning to face both my comrades to see what kind of strategy they possessed.

She had not thought of herself as a team in this situation, all she saw was chaos and wanted to participated in it. But then there was this pull: to save the innocents, and to kill both the innocents as well as the intruders. Having her bring up the rear of wanting to cause harm when all she hears besides the sudden rumble from the man on channel XX-17 was Amarantha saying for her not to kill any innocents. She could not decide, and it shows how unstable her emotions were. But she did not hesitate on this self mission of survival and when she killed the surrounding men in armour, she felt this sudden joy, a bloodbath, she wanted a bloodbath. But now not seeing nothing but a red haze of blood-lust, she had not realized what was going on until silence swept into the area. And all she herd was the cries of the wounded and the falling of rubble and gods no what. Adelpha was once again pulled away from the scene of chaos and silence as arms wrapped around her. She whipped her head around quickly, almost inhumanly and was about to attack when the figure unwrapped itself from her. Adelpha stared down at the smiling face with a puzzled, shock expression. She had no idea who was before her now and was about to stampede away from the queer when the person spoke. Flashes of the past flew through her mind, opening up files and playing the information on a wide HD screen before her eyes. 'I know that voice … OF cause you do Adel, that is Tatsuta – Hime, say something!' “Tatsuta – Hime? Is that you? W-what in gods name did you do to your hair? I-I think I past the Chunin exams, I am not sure as I was pulled into this tragedy but I believe I was successful. Well I better be successful and please the standards of our current Raikage as I had my time wasted out there in the freezing wastelands. I will in time tell you my experience in the exams but for now,” Adelpha awkwardly leaned down and petted Toska, but as soon as her slender fingertips netted into the warm fur, she felt relief, the feeling of home. Her eyes widened suddenly before she abruptly straightened and pointed rather rudely behind Tatsuta – Hime, her mouth working but nothing coming out. At first confusion slipped over but was quickly replaced with surprise for the dog she was looking at was a female, she had a smaller head. As soon as Tatsuta – Hime said Husky pack and the name Nayeli, Adelpha stared in wonder. “Nah-yeh-lee, is she wild, unless my eyes are deceiving with me, I see blood. Anyhow she is beautiful unlike Toska here, her short coat looks more warmer. But unlike her eyes, Toska eyes are the one I like the most. Tell me Tatsuta – Hime, what is her temperamental like? I believe Toska would be very over protective from now on and I will be expecting pups unless you got them fixed. Oh dear... How would they react if they encounter a big cat. You do know that I am thinking about bring up wild cats. I have not made up my mind as of yet, but I am keen over large cats, especially the jaguar. Fascinating animals. We must have a chat as soon as we are able.” Suddenly when her attention moved onto an approaching male with blood red eyes, black with golden hair, fairly muscled figure, she was taken aback due to sudden awareness. But as soon as Tatsuta – Hime spoke up, she seemed comfortable with him so she felt her body slightly relaxing. Though she didn't remove her piecing eyes from him, she simply – like always, studied him. Her question she asked only moments ago was answered. And she was astonished at how calm the female husky acted. Licking her blood stained chops, staying very closely to Tatsuta – Hime. But the untamed pooch would have a slight dangerous side. Noting that Adelpha knew when to be aware of ones such as those. She learned from Toska's bull rush the hard way, she won't make the same mistake with this female. 'I agree with your thinking Adel. But can we blame her? Us females do have the trait of being vicious when we want to. Men think they are the upper class, believing them all it. And to their eyes, they believe us the weaker link to humanity. They should not judge us woman so lightly. Some men need a good bite to take them down a peg or two. I'm sure you agree with me … Yes, Amarantha, I agree indeed.' Adelpha's conversation with her inner self was interrupted when Tatsuta – Hime became serious once again. When the question was out into the open, Adel shifted on her feet and rested her right index and thumb finger under her chin, her other hand hugging the side of her right side. A cast of her eyes, she looked around before frowning. “Amarantha suggests we go in search for innocents who are injured elsewhere. And by using our communications devices, contact those who could be in the area closest to the injured and summon them to bring the injured back to safely, to shelter. Unless as if I believe so myself we are running short of cable comrades and can not summon up help. I myself would search, but not carry the injured for I find it a waste of my time. I would much rather kill them than to save them but this is what Amara suggests, not me.” A stare at the male before she turned her attention else where. And so where do we go from here?

[Raika Tatsu]

Raika watched as the deadly attacks of the two female shinobi came to fruition. The first thing that came to his mind was how strong they both were, and how weak he was in comparison. The next thought was obscured as he watched the hovercraft come crashing down near a group of injured. Thankfully, Tatsu could see that no one was hurt, but it was close. Still, no collateral damage, and that’s what mattered. However, they would have to be careful, an idea further emphasized by the statement made across the communication device Raika was wearing, no doubt mainly directed at the blonde warrior.

The young shinobi reached the two ladies in time to hear each of them address the other by name. The name Amarantha held no special significance to the boy—though that was bound to change starting today—but the name Tatsuta did seem familiar. Wasn’t she the one that was going to marry the Raikage…most of Kumo had gotten the invitation, but Tatsu had been unable to go to the wedding since he had made his way to the Chuunin Exams. Still, there had been rumors upon his return that something had happened during the ceremony. However, they were rumors, and Raika put little weight on such things.

What mattered was the here and now, and at the present these two powerful women were his teammates in defending this area of the village.

As soon as Raika reached the two, Tatsuta engaged him in the conversation. The genin smiled slightly before bowing his head to the two women.

“Thank you for the compliment, it is much appreciated. And I did not mind the help at all, they are quite a team. I’m just glad we were able to save that nurse. My name is Tatsu Hebiarashi, but you may call me Raika.” As he finished, the genin’s serpent companion slithered out from within the boy’s shirt collar, coming out of hiding. The black cobra wrapped itself once around his master’s neck and watched the ladies and the dogs, seemingly out of interest, as its tongue flickered in and out of its mouth. “This is Nera. Don’t worry, she won’t bite any ally of mine.”

As Tatsu looked at the women, he noticed the almost unnerving stare coming from the one Tatsuta had called Amarantha. She seemed to be studying him, which was not surprising, as they were all shinobi. Still, there wasn’t much time to contemplate on such things once Tatsuta asked them both what the plan was. Amarantha soon answered, though in a strange way. Was she referring to herself in third person? No…somehow it seemed as if she was speaking about another person entirely, yet with the same name? It was unusual to be sure, but not something that Raika could figure out himself, at least not without knowing the woman a lot more. For that reason, the genin studied both of the women as Amarantha spoke, seeing if Tatsuta found this behavior normal and whether it meant that he would have to be wary of Amara. He was careful to hide the intention of his moving gaze, which was easy considering his more cold demeanor. Regardless, it was not the most pressing issue: the invasion was. As Amarantha finished speaking, Tatsu nodded and then spoke.

“I agree, we should make sure that those here and around are safe and being taken care of. We need to be wary of the enemy, however, as we don’t know how many there are and how strong they really are. So far the ones that have appeared have been relatively weak, but that might change. Unfortunately, I inspected the armor of one of the invaders I killed on my way here. They have rubber linings within, making most lightning release jutsu basically useless. For me, it’s a problem, as a good number of my tactics revolve around the use of lightning jutsu. This, along with the fact that their armor makes it difficult for my weapons to cause fatal damage, as well as the fact that you two are obviously more powerful and experienced than me, means I am likely to be relegated to support for the pair of you. I can still cause damage, however, so I will do my best to not get in your way. I can see a good portion of the field, so I can help in letting everyone know where the enemy is should they not make themselves plainly obvious. Still, my main goal is to make sure the medics, injured, and civilians in the area remain safe. In that way, I can support your attacks while keeping collateral damage to a minimum. Nera will also be helpful. The way the buildings around here are set up, we can definitely hold up well, we just have to make sure to watch all sides. With that said, I think I will be most useful in a kind of hit and run capacity, while you two bring the more fatal blows. Sorry if I sound almost repetitive, I just want to make sure I am useful to the two of you.”

He looked at the two women to see how they would respond, but he made sure to glance in every direction around him to make sure they weren’t caught by surprise. At the same time, Nera turned her gaze behind Raika, looking out for any enemy that may try to attack. These invaders were going to regret attacking Kumogakure, of that Tatsu was certain.

I had not ever heard Amarantha speak to herself while addressing herself as “Adel.” Was she slipping? For a moment my mouth remained closed, my gaze locked on the violet haired Shinobi. She spoke of passing the exams, although she appeared not to have her title given yet. This was disappointing as this meant that I would be forced to lead this group. But the fact that Amara was behaving strangely was concerning. “Amara, who is Adel?” I ask, tilting my head to the side, forgetting about the question about my hair and Sky. But when tactics began spilling into our conversation, my attention shifted to that; leaving the personality confusion for another time. “Well, I completely understand where you are coming from, Raika. My name is Tatsuta-hime Akiyama, should you have any confusion. So Raiton does not work on these guys, hmm?” I say, my tone showing clear signs of puzzlement. If we couldn't attack them with our element, what other elements would prove useless toward them? Toska and Nayeli scanned the area for more threats while the group discussed. “Well since our Raiton attacks do not work, Raika, what other abilities do you have? Amarantha is a mid to range fighter, I am the same although I know little in close combat. If you are experienced in combat, I would like for you to protect the head nurses while Amara and I take care of the ones who are arriving on scene. The animals can scout the area for potential threats.” I explained firmly, my gaze traveling between both Genin toward the hoard of people rushing around the center. “We each have communicative devices as Amarantha has mentioned. We are to stay in contact at all times and call for assistance should the need arise. And if anyone has any problems or questions, please tell them know as there are patients that are in need of treating and foes that need disposing of.” A pause, “we are in a crisis as you both can see, and it is our job to protect the citizens of Kumogakure. And as future Chuunin, this is a perfect thing for you both to have on your files should the Raikage evaluate you for the exams.” I said seriously, my smile long gone. But how will our new found temporary team respond to this before the next attack?

Nevertheless she ignored the question as there was no need for her to know with so many ears listening in to their conversation. When she wants to tell Tatsuta then it will be private or on her terms, not in the open and in such hard trouble circumstances. “Well seeing that they are wearing rubber I have not bothered with my Raiton jutsus. But I have just arrived here and used Shōton and that seemed to have worked. If any of you have Suiton abilities, maybe if you get close, wet them and then use your Raiton jutsus, then maybe the lightning would be ten times more stronger. Then maybe the lightning will get to them and at least be affectiuve to the wetness which coated the body. Its the only idea I have on using the lightning abilities. Though, as for myself, Tatsuta – Hime, we will have that conversation soon after. Right now is not the time.” Strange enough Adelpha was calm. It was like calm before the storm though only moments ago she was wild with the thrill of the destruction which was alive around her. But now her heart was slow and easy, her breathing natural. But there was this constant pounding within her head and behind her eyes. And she was sweating more than normal, hot and edgy. But as she listened in to what Tatsuta – Hime said, she nodded her head in agreement before going on with her orders. And as people came running, limping and even stumbling in, she bit back the distaste and approached them quickly, noting their headbands before applying attention onto their injuries. She did not know medical abilities, but when she saw a wound on her person, she always pressed to stop the bleeding which at the time seemed to help. But some of these wounds seemed bad enough that a simple press and hold won't cut it. The shinobi she came across were seriously wounded and she simply could not help them. With one arm over her shoulders, she helped one member into one available tent before leaving for some other needed shinobi. But all the while, constantly alert for any sort of attack. With her eyes locked to the sky, she approached the sobs and cries. This was the most pathetic job ever, helping the innocent. It was time for a personality switch and almost at once her brain filled with pain, and at first the only presence within her mind was Adelpha, but then the another presence pushed itself inside, forcing the control over the personal. Energy from both personalities surged through her frame, one battling for dominance while the other tried for relaxation. Her scream shattered the air as the pain buckled her knees beneath her. She was vaguely aware of the sound of her leather trench coat folding on the earth at the same time her knees came in contact with the dusty and stony ground. Her bones felt as if they were being ground into dust as Amarantha fought for control. She tried to ease her way through the process, but that was useless, it was simply raw, angry power, and with so much agony she screamed again, wishing there was a way she could slide into silk instead of this raw twist and turn. Much like two souls within one body. And just like so many times before, when she thought she could not fight the pain and take in any more, it simply ended, leaving her momentary weak and tired. But after a moment, her eyes wide open and staring at a spot of wet earth where her tears had dripped onto the brown dirt, her strength came all at once. With a press of strength she got to her feet before carrying on with her task, all the while apologizing to Adelpha for going against her alignment. And this time when she helped the injured, the touch was much more softer, and not rough as though it was a waste of her time. Deep down inside it was, but this was an order, and Tatsuta was the leader of the unnamed team. “Poor Angel, there there we will make sure you are well soon...” With the help of Amarantha, she continued helping the innocents until another order was formed. Completely fine after the pain she had momentary had gone through. She was back to business...

[Raika Tatsu]

Raika watched the blonde-haired shinobi look at her apparent friend curiously, seemingly for the same reason Tatsu had become wary of Amarantha. It seemed that this way of talking was also weird for the chuunin, which put Raika a bit on edge, but he decided that he’d have to trust Amara anyways, considering their current dilemma and the fact that she was a shinobi of Kumo, which made her an ally above everything. Still, he needed to be careful around her, just in case.
After speaking, Raika listened to his teammates speak, finally learning the name of their impromptu team leader, Tatsuta-hime. The question she posed to him was not unexpected, since Tatsu has failed to mention his other skills when he had spoken earlier.

“Well, I have some skill in Buredono Kenseijin, a katana taijutsu style. I also have a little skill in the use of my Thread Wire Shock sword, which will come in handy. That, and my explosive tags seem to work well in dealing with these guys, I killed what seemed to be a lieutenant of some sort earlier with one, and he had more armor than most of these grunts. I can get close, and Nera can back me up since she can use a good few boxing techniques using her tail-end and even her head end as we would use our arms. Still, handling groups would prove problematic for me, but I can figure something out if it came to that point.”

Tatsu wasn’t completely useless, even if he wasn’t nearly as powerful as the two women. Regardless, he would do his best to defend his fellow Kumo citizens from these invaders. Once Tatsuta gave her orders, Raika nodded and ran off towards the head nurses, who were all busy with the multitude of patients that were arriving. However, he didn’t miss the screams that Amarantha let out. At first he thought they were just from an injured civilian, but a quick glance in the direction of Amara revealed otherwise. What was going on? Had she been injured in her fight earlier? She hadn’t given any sign to suppose so, so what was happening? It wasn’t long before she seemed to get back to normal, yet even then, something seemed different about her. Tatsu couldn’t quite put a finger on it, and now was not the time to dwell on it. He had more important business to attend to. Raika helped the nurses carry a couple of wounded patients to where they needed to go, all while Nera kept her eyes peeled for any sign of the enemy.

The young shinobi wondered how his actual teammates were doing. No doubt they were busy defending other parts of the village. He wasn’t worried about Marii or Okuda, they could handle themselves quite well; in fact, he wasn’t even too worried about Katsu, as he was even stronger than Raika. Still, there was some worry, and he would have to make sure to find them all once this was all over. However, his temporary team was what he needed to focus on. He had made new aquaintances, and Tatsu was happy in some way about meeting other shinobi from the village. Once again, though, such thoughts would have to be the focus of another time. Right now, they were at war with an enemy who meant to destroy their home. Raika was determined to make sure that didn’t happen.

Just on the outskirts of the medical center would stand a young Genin, blood dripped down his face from a split within his left eyebrow, the distance was too much to notice all the small markings upon his arms and face. His shirt was black, long sleeved at one point though now was torn and tattered. Grey pants stained by blood and mood. He'd point towards the triage center as five Grunts garbed in the usual armor would approach him from behind. "There, this is one of the safe points..." the voice would be soft, fear in the tone but those words were too quiet for the group of Shinobi to hear. The grunts would laugh as they found what they were looking for. "Go get the others!" one would order, a single grunt took off into the distance, though not yet out of site. "So I can go now right?" the question was filled with fear by the young broken down Genin of Cloud. The menacing laughter that followed would come from the one grunt that had spoken. Grabbing the boy by the back of his head. The Genin couldn't have been out of the academy more than a month. Forced to his knees, he'd beg for his life but the kunai would rip through his neck with no regrets or remorse.

The four grunts that remained would all pull out a kunai in their right hands, they stood by the body of the boy, not yet advancing on the camp. It was clear that they were waiting something, but the true question was how fast could the Shinobi of Cloud react?
