Kanta was staring at the clouds. He was thinking to himself that at least who ever created the clouds does a good job. They are all unique, and the look as if each should be in an art gallery. It was nice, he though. Just then some one was staring over him. "Who are you?" he ask.
And without a work the person picked him up by the scruff of his neck and looked at him right in the eyes. This person who was holding up Kanta was examining him for some reason. It was odd so Kanta stared back with a type of anguish. The same stare, until finally the man that held him up would say. "Ok kid stand on your own two feet and follow me. Your my knew student."....
Oh great another person to boss me around. Oh well I mite as well see where this goes... Kanta thought. And thus it was a quick journey to some sort of large fountain. The man just walked on the surface of the water. Kanta was like what the heck how was I supose follow. But the man continued to motion for him to follow. He said, "Use your chakra and push it to the bottom of your feet."
Chakra Kanta understood, well at least to a degree. It was interesting, but he was wondering who this was first "Who are you?" he asked, and the only response he could get was "Do this and and I will answer." with that Kanta would sigh, what a hassle he thought. But he would do this, he would shift some of his chakra to his feet. Then he slipped... Too much chakra. The bottom of his feet was slick with chakra and he fell on his ass onto the stone ground bellow. So he would get up and try again.
The question was looming in Kanta's mind. Who was this man and why was he interested in him. But he had to walk on this water to get a response. So once again he pushed his chakra to the bottom of his feet, much like the Act of Tree Climbing technique. This time it wasn't to much and the chakra was at the correct spot. So he got up onto the ledge of the fountain and carefully tested the waters so to say. He pushed down with a single foot and found that this time it wasn't enough chakra. The foot would slip right past the surface of the water and now his sock was wet. Just great.. How annoying. But he would continue anyway.
Kanta pulled back his foot and closed his eyes. He had a trick to chakra, he could mold it by picturing his chakra within his mind. It was like using a visual aid to help him create the elusive invisible force to work with. He would close his eyes and imagine a color. In this case he used the color blue, to associate it with this type of technique. He imagined this color, stretched it and painted with it in his mind. This color which represented his chakra, which he could mold into anything he desired. Though he could feel the pull and drain it had on his body as he manipulated it in this way. And so he continued.
The blue color that represented Kanta's color in his minds eye would have been painted on the bottom of his feet. He could feel his feet become slick with the stuff. He made sure it was only a thin layer but enough so that he could imagine it would support his weight. He spread it over the bottom of his feet so that it would cover every inch of the bottom of his feet. Both feet were covered in this way cause this time he was going to commit to this strange ability to walk on the surface of the water. And thus he was ready to take his first step.
Kanta stepped out with his foot. He felt the surface catch his weight and hold him. He then put all his weight onto the surface of the water with the chakra underneath supporting him. This was his commitment to this and he then lifted his other foot. No sooner did he do this than the foot that was on the water slipped forward fast. His legs started to separate from each other into a split. He felt his pants tighten as his feet moved away from each other. He had to catch his rear foot back onto the ledge but it could not be helped. He had fallen into the water becoming soaked. What a hassle....
