Dusting off the rust (Draven vs. Koori)

[Draven]

-1000x1000 meter wide flat deforested terrain. consists of a forest floor setting. All trees have been cut down, leaving stumps, stones and the occasional log. Stumps are only a few feet tall.

-One large evergreen tree 50 meters tall stands in the center of the clearing.

Draven would be in his SWM puppet. He had a plethora of equipment on his person. Worn on his back was a 2 huge scrolls strapped to the small of his back horizontally, and the other above that in the same fashion. On top of that them was a Tower shield that he used when he is out of his puppet, when ever that may be. On his left ear he had his wireless radio, and it was tuned to his villages frequency, unless otherwise noted for a specific mission. He wore glasses on his face, with anti-flash lenses, along with a gass mask 2 filter design with two type E filters installed.. He wore a utility belt around his waist. On his right forearm he had a handheld surveillance monitor lashed down to his forearm that was linked to his 210lb Draw Rifle Crossbow camera vision. Of course he had his own 90lb pistol crossbow in a holster on his utility belt on his right side. Within his utility belt he had 40 explosive tags, 9 kunai, a world map, a Mini Oxygen tank, Compass Dungeoneer's, a Book: Reference: Hābu Narejji Bukku (Herbalist Knowledge Book) Hill region, and a Book: Reference: Hābu Gyazā Bukku (Herbalist Gathering Book) Hill Region . On his right upper arm he had a triple utility pouch that had 6 Soldier pills within it. Within his first huge scroll he had 4 SI-BOMB puppets that had 6 grenades installed into their self-destruction cores, each. The other huge scroll was used as an overflow storage.

The puppet he was in was called SI-SWM. On the inside of the puppet, there was a monitor that was linked up with a camera to the eyes of the puppet. Underneath that monitor was another monitor for the RADAR function of its sensory system. It had a plethora of defensive systems, and other miscellaneous systems. Inside the puppet installed onto the walls by the monitors were a Compass Electronic (Overview), and a Compass Gyrocompass (Overview), so that he won’t get lost. To note the afterburner system had been used and had 7 charges left.

The SWM puppet itself was wearing its own plethora of equipment. On its thighs it had double knife kunai holders, which had 2 kunais each. On its entire body it wore an Akimichi sized robe that had its hood drawn up so that it would be difficult to see the puppetry of the puppet, unless it had its arm mechanism going, or its wings. Wrapped around the hood and head of the puppet was the headband of his village that was adorn with the symbol of stone. The robe had slits cut in the back ingeniously enough so that they won’t flap open, unless the wings were deployed or he was getting out of the puppet. One would have to have some knowledge of puppetry to have an idea about the SWM and its capabilities or even weather it was a puppet because the robe was fitted to look as if this was just a large Akimichi. Within the robe there were 35 explosive tags, and 5 kunais. The kunais all had explosive tags attached to them. The puppet was holding another puppet with its left arm. This puppet was able to be used as a shield, and was in its shield mode. The right arm of the SWM puppet had an interesting feature to split into three separate different arms that connected at the shoulder. One arm was the main arm and had five fingers, the second had three fingers, and the third had three red tipped fingers usually used as a loading arm for a massive crossbow. This whole arm mechanism was active when the right arm assembly was wielding that crossbow. Finally within one of the pockets of the robe, and can some times be seen scurrying around the robe was a rat. This rats name was called Templeton. But for the most part this pet would be found sleeping inside a robe pocket.

This crossbow is a 4ft long 210lb Draw Rifle Crossbow , that had a Monocular attached to the sights. The Monocular had a zoom function of x12, X-Ray vision, Thermal Vision, and a Camera vision that was linked to a handheld surveillance monitor that was strapped to his arm on the inside of the puppet. Also attacked to the crossbow was a Pouch Projector: Portable: Dual Release. The dials were on the stock of the crossbow, and the tanks coming from the bottom of the stock. It had hoses that ran the length of the crossbow till it peeked out of the business end of the crossbow so the thing was functional. The crossbow itself was strapped behind its right shoulder, so that the right arm had easy access to it. Also strapped to the right shoulder for easy access was a Huge shoulder mounted quiver. Within the quiver there were 150 normal bolts and 140 specialty bolts. These specialty bolts were comprised of as such. 50 had blunt point arrowheads, 50 had mechanical blade arrowheads, and 40 had fragmentation arrowheads. 91 of those had basic shafts while 49 had splitting shaft. All the specialty bolts had razor blade fetching on them. Also strapped to the outside of the shoulder was a Triple Utility Pouch which holds nothing in it. Loaded into the crossbow's Pouch Projector: Portable: Dual Release, 6 cylinders were: 14 goo pouches (1 slot), 13 pouch:smoke (1 slot), 14 pouch: Incendiary (1 slot), 15 Pouch: Elemental: Lightning (1 slot), and 14 Pouch: Elemental: Ice (1 slot). As a final tribute this crossbow had a 200 bolt clip installed on it that was filled full with normal bolts.

The puppet that the SWM was using as a shield was called SI-CRAB. It had its own plethora of defensive systems, and a few other miscellaneous systems. Draven just got done checking everything before deciding it was ready to go. Currently the puppet in its shield mode, can give full coverage with a 5th wide, with 7 1/2ft tall dimensions.





Draven would be in the center of the clearing. He would be in his SWM. He was patrolling the area to make sure there were no one in the area. This was to be a staging area for a new village, and if anyone knew about this place, he would have to kill them. And thus, his sentry watch would begin.

[You said you were in the center, so I'm assuming you are by that large tree]

And there I stood.

On top of a tree stump in a field that was seemingly cut down to size, all except for one huge tree in the center of the field. The question was why? These infact, were the exact coordinates given to me by the Otokage, but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. The area had to be like, 600 x 600 meters, atleast (I know it's actually larger, just pondering IC). I mean, for christ sake, you could fit a village in-........and that's when it hit me.

Someone was moving their village, or town, or something. That was the why, now to find out who. Maybe there could be something left behind. I put the map back into my pocket handed to me by the Otokage, and stretched. I made sure to double check not only my surroundings, but my person just in case I was walking into a trap.

Black rubber soled shoes, plain as day were re-tied extra tight as I adjusted the bottom of my back samurai like baggy pants with a second set of arms. Held up around my waist by a white rope, my weapons pouch as well as my small pills pouch hung over my left and right ass cheek respectively. A plain white sleeveless T- shirt was worn above that. A large hole around the shoulder, properly for a man with six arms. over that was a large and long red cloak, also sleeveless. A black spider, homage to the Kumomusha clan was brilliantly woven into the center of the back, the whole cloak sporting black trim as well. Short stubble lay across my face as well. Shoulder length brown colored hair, tied into a ponytail behind my head, as red eyes of the Onigami peered forth. A white colored beanie was worn, with the Sound village headband sewn into the front of it over my head, just high enough for the ponytail to stick out.

Black fingerless gloves were worn on all six hands as I cracked my knuckles, checking my equipment. 5 Smoke Grenades, 2 Goo Grenades, 80 Exploding Tags, 3 Blood Clot Pills, and a single filter Gas Mask with an "E" filter all in one weapons pouch, and my pills pouch with only one pill within it, a Spinach pill. A recipe created by the Akimichi, perfected by Medics such as myself.

With everything in check, I proceeded towards the large tree in the center, running from stomp to stomp in order to close the distance quickly, scanning the area for any little detail that could further my investigation. That was when I noticed a cloaked figure, standing in the distance by the tree.

'Ahh, shit. He probably already saw me. That was sloppy Koori.'

I thought to myself , my gaze now upon the figure, as my running came to a stop. He was only about 100 meters off into the distance, which sounds like a lot but is closer then I would have like to have been at any rate. There was nothing I could do now. My vision fixed elsewhere, looking for clues at the time it would seem, was going to get me into trouble.

"Well, I suppose we can't talk about this can we?"

I gave blankly into the general direction of the figure, watching, and waiting for anything, trying to expect the unexpected.

Draven would have heard the voice in the distance. Though it was odd, he had not noticed him before. He turned around and seen why. A man was 100 meters away from him, a little ways out of the reach of his RADAR. Well lucky for Draven this man had gave himself away. Good that would make this much easier...he thought to himself as his SWM's right arm suddenly slit into three separate arms. The three right arms would have reached up and grabbed the 4ft long crossbow hanging from the SWM's back. The crossbow would have then been aimed at this intruder. This non stone ninja that had interloped into the future site of the Stone Village. This intruder must be silenced, must be quieted and there is only one way that he knew how to take accomplish this task...

(Again, I am not going very offensive unless you want me to. Not going to fly either cause like that would just get annoying I assume.)

I said, gravely disappointed that this thing, which had its arm split into multiple arms right before my eyes pulled a crossbow out on me. It didn't fire immediately, almost as though it was protecting the tree or something. Weird. Chakra flooded towards my eyes, as they began to glow a light red hue. 150 meters in all directions were mine to view as I pleased from this point out. I would do just that.

Using my Tasukeru I clearly saw all, from the puppet, to the scrolls he was reaching for all the way inside the cockpit to see what this guy looked like. I read his blood, no special traits to show a kekkei genkai, so he just looked to be a super good puppeteer at this point. However, it was never safe to assume anything ever.

Reaching into my weapons pouch with my lower left arm, and my two two arms, the only ones visible to the man would go up into the air, as though I was not looking for a fight.

"Just take it easy, I'm leaving."

Which was utter bullshit. I pulled the string of the smoke grenade and dropped it out of my red cloak onto the ground. I closed my eyes, not that it even mattered, since I had X - Ray vision, and watched the grenade explode, covering me and my general area with smoke. Using chakra from my eyes, it was easy to utilize an old Onigami trick. Multiple versions of myself, all perfect, even down to the chakra systems stepped out of the smoke with myself. These were Demonic Clones, a trick of the eyes, to all eyes and all detection methods. They looked, acted, and sounded like me, but were not. There was no way to tell the difference from myself, and the ten of them formed (11 figured total including myself).

Before stepping out into the smoke though, I took a few seconds to perform a few handseals, coating myself in a bright, thin sheet of pure crystal that was clear and transparent. I did this, and then stepped out of the smoke with my demonic illusions, but not without delivering the punch line.

Skill: Doujutsu
Effect: Allows a full three hundred and sixty (360) degree field of vision and some predictability to physical attacks. Unlike Byakugan, the user sees life in its normal colors during this tech, no details spared. Signs of life, thermal readings and X Ray vision is near perfect. Can also read a determine the difference of a regular shinobi to that of one with a bloodline or if they house any foreign presence by the different chakra waves displayed when observed through Tasukeru. This does not mean one knows the BL right away. Must have encountered the BL before in order to know exactly who they are. The ‘C’ ranked version grants the user up to 50 meters of observing. Each new rank for the Jutsu will add 50 more meters. This can be trained multiple times after all the ranks are achieved in order to add 50 meters onto one’s total. Each extra training is worth an S ranked training.
Special: Although one is born with this jutsu, one must activate the eyes through training.
Drawback: Heavy chakra drain over time, especially when multiple phases of the Tasukeru are accessed. While Taijutsu can be predicted, the Onigami are not designed to have fast twitch muscles. As such, perfect blocking simply won’t happen all the time.
Description: Summoned through will, the scarlet eyes of the Onigami will grow a very vibrant neon red and all life becomes theirs to fully observe. Once activated, the user has a three hundred and sixty (360) degree field of vision, as well as the ability to see into other people’s bloods. For those allied to an Onigami, this jutsu is revered for making the Onigami known as the ultimate scouts.
Limit: Must be part of the Onigami BL.

Effect: Allows the Onigami to fool other Doujutsu or any other chakra detection methods that read life or chakra and create ‘fake people’ for them to attack.
Special: C ranked training allows between 1 and 5 creations. B ranked allows up to 15, and the A ranked creation allows up to 30.
Description: One of the unique powers of the Onigami is to allow them to trick any chakra or life detection methods in believing someone is there, usually by creation real chakra systems stationary in certain places. For those peering through their doujutsu, the appearance of someone’s chakra systems or their chakra flow will be seen, and it’s impossible for them to discern real from fake. Once they strike them, the systems disappear. This jutsu is most effective under a visually altering jutsu, ie, the Hidden Mist skill, because the victim’s will not be able to tell as well what’s real and what isn’t.

Effect: Allows the user to create crystal to varying degrees.
Special: Handseals of the technique it is used with..
Drawback: It is impossible to crystallize electricity, wind, or fire. Any element that lacks a physical presence can not be crystallized. Sound Jutsu will act as if one rank stronger then their designated technique when being pitted against crystal. Sound techniques use their high frequency and vibration qualities to essentially shatter your crystals, as opposed to just break them, if they are geared towards acts of that nature *ie they are meant to damage physically and not some sort of genjutsu or the like*. When calculating damage vs the durability of your crystal, remember to add it together. If one person does an A rank vs you crystal that can withstand S rank, you can only endure one A rank more unless the crystal is redone/fixed which becomes costly.
Description: Using your abilities with the crystal release skill you are able to create crystal either by transforming the particles in the air, or a more prominent substance. The technique is your essential crystal technique. It governs two things: the amount of crystal you can create at once, and the strength of your crystalline constructs. At C rank the user is able to crystallize up to a 5x5 section of material per movement dedicated to the process after handseals. This of course can be edited to be proportionally the same such as a 6x4 meter area etc. Also, when you have this skill at C rank, your crystalline constructs are able to endure C rank damage before shatter. This defensive power stacks with whatever technique this is used with if applicable. As your rank increases so to does this techniques power. At B rank, your ability to crystallize becomes a 10x10 meter area, and its able to withstand up to a B rank. At A rank it increases to 20x20 meters, and is able to withstand up to an A rank amount of damage. At S ranks it increases once more to 40x40 meter area, and again is able to withstand an S rank amount of damage. With this technique the user is able to transport through crystalline structures of their own creation at a speed of 5 meters per movement (kind of like underground fish projectile). This technique is generally used passively within other techniques. This technique also allows a user to somewhat “dismiss” their crystal creations at will. When doing so the crystal seems to basically disintegrate.
Limit: Must have the Crystal release.

Kesshō no Yoroi (Crystal Release: Crystal Armor) [Can withstand "S" + Two "C"s of damage.] (10)

Effect: This jutsu allows the user to become encased in a thin sheet of crystal to protect them from blunt force trauma. This armor can also aid the user in performing stronger physical attacks. The crystal is transparent and can only be noticed by light reflecting off it.

Description: Picture Forming the needed hand seals, the user encases themselves in a crystalline armor. It is transparent, but is able to reflect light. It has the ability to block two C rank attack plus whatever your skill in Crystallization before breaking, and lends itself to enhancing punching/kicking taijutsu damage by a D rank due to it adding a slight amount of weight to the strike.

(ok that sounds fine)

Draven watched as this would be played out. The smoke would appear from the grenade, but that was nothing he could not handle. The SWM would switch its sights to infrared, and the camera site on the crossbow would switch to x-ray vision. Within the SWM there would be three monitors. One would be the cameras in the SWM which were in infrared vision. Another mobile surveillance monitor lashed to Draven's right arm, was connected to the Camera scope on the crossbow which was switched to an X-ray vision, and was how he aimed with his crossbow. Then finally there was one more monitor for the RADAR of the puppet, which only had a 75 meter range. As it stands he could only see his opponent, or rather opponents at this time as 11 figures were visible to him. Though he would need to get within range, and so Draven would spark the SWM's jet pack.

Dust, wood, and grass would fly up in a fan tail as the SWM would fly forward at 50 meters per second. The CRAB shield, which was essentially a tower shield for the SWM was in front of the puppet being held up by its left arm, this being the SWM primary defense position as the crossbow is being braced against the mammoth CRAB tower shield puppet. Within a second the SWM puppet would have flown into the range of 100 meters. During that initial second a bolt would have been instantly loaded into the crossbow. This bolt was a special bolt consisting of a fragmentation arrowhead, a splitting shaft, and a razor blade fletching. Draven would have also prepared the crossbows Dual Pouch Launcher by switching one of the loaders to a goo pouch with a wide cone nozzle. Thus he would be within that 100 meters. It would be but another second before he would be ready for his offense...

Draven would continue the jet pack for another second, within that time he would have switched the other loader of the Dual Pouch Launcher to a incendiary pouch. And thus he would be at the 50 meter mark facing his 11 opponents, the SWM would discontinue the jet pack, ending in a marksman stance. The CRAB shield would have been held in that defensive position, and two of the right arms would have been holding and aiming the massive crossbow, while the third right arm would be loading bolts. It was time to begin the bombardment...

7 volleys of bolts would fly toward Draven's opponent, one for each of his movements he had left. Each volley would consist of this type of movement: 6 bolts would be shot, each of this combination bolt that had been loaded beforehand. Each time one bolt would fire, another of the same kind would be loaded at incredible speeds. The loading arm would be in a blur as each bolt would be aimed at a different targets. Each bolt would split off into 5 mini bolts each with a fragmentation arrow head, though each arrowhead would be at 1/5 of its original power. Each of these mini bolts would in turn try to be aimed to hit different targets as well. So if the 11 figures were grouped up tightly the resulting mayhem would be insane. Though if they were spread out a bit more, the original target aimed at would have received a mini bolt, and the surrounding area would have been peppered with the other 4 mini bolts to try and prevent dodging.

All in all 7 volleys, of 6 combination bolts, that divide into 5 min bolts would have been loaded, shot, split, then exploded. The total number of mini bolts would have been 210 mini bolts exploding in a dazzling fireworks display. Though finally he would make sure the crossbow would be loaded at the end of this with a normal style of bolt.

Description: A device that fits as a backpack that attaches tubes to either a hand held release device, or on the a Wrist device. The Tubes range in size depending on the size of the user, and the type of release device is being used. The Release device also ranges in size. Some have release devices that is the size of Pistol Crossbows, while others are in the size of Rifle Crossbows, and some are small enough to attach on Gauntlets. The backpack is outfitted with 6 Cylinders (3 per Release Device). Each Cylinder can carry 1 Slot of Pouches. When a cylinder is locked and loaded, it will chamber a pouch. When the Release Device is triggered, specialized gadgets will siphon the components from inside the Pouch, release it through the tube, then exit the Release Device. After each fire the machine ejects the pouch from the chamber, and automatically reloads with a new Pouch. Firing proficiency is dependent on ability of Marksman. The Release device is outfitted with 2 dials. 1 Dial controls a mechanism that can switch from cylinder to cylinder, while the 2nd Dial controls how the component of the pouch will be released (Line, or Cone). Only 1 Cylinder may be locked at a time. Switching between cylinders takes 1 second worth of time. Cylinders may be hand reloaded. The Projector releases the contents in a Cone of 19 meters, or in a Line of 38 meters per trigger action. Description: The fragmentation arrowhead is an anti-personnel weapon that is designed to disperse shrapnel upon exploding. The body is made of hard plastic or steel. These grenades were sometimes classed as defensive grenades because the effective casualty radius of some matched or exceeded the distance they could be thrown, thus necessitating them being thrown from behind cover. Description: One of the four stances a user may learn as they are able to learn just one if they wish. Hard to maintain, so mainly used by expert Marksman. Some elite Marksman use the oblique stance. In this stance the Marksman places his/her toe of the left foot nearest the target on a line and pivoting the left foot forty-five-degrees to the target. The heel of the right foot is then placed in line with the toe of the left foot. This allows the bow arm to remain in a position where there will be optimum clearance of the bowstring when the arrow is released. The target should be seen clearly while using the oblique stance.

This technique is needed for the more powerful and difficult rapid fire techniques.

User is able to shoot at that opponent within the full distance proficiency they are able to shoot. When the user learns this technique and is a "D" Class character they are able to aim at 1 opponent. When the user is any class higher than "D" the number of opponents increase by 1. This gives a total of 5 opponents.

Effect: A technique that allows a user to be more aware of his surroundings against opponents that may be able to hit him with close range such as sword and fist.

Drawback: The user is only capable of predicting movements’ one rank below then what they have learned. The user is only capable of predicting movements that are TaiJutsu Based. Any other type of movements cannot be predicted.
Description: The way this technique works is that the user observes certain points of areas of the opponent's body such as the shoulders, thighs, and hips. Since attacks are focused on these points they are capable of making educational guesses towards points of contact that may occur within these certain points. This type of technique is a study where the user is capable of watching an opponent's movements for a brief moment of time predicting TaiJutsu techniques. When the user first learns this technique they are capable of predicting techniques of "D" Rank capability. When the user learns the "B" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "C" Rank capability. When the user learns the "A" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "B" Rank capability. When the user learns the "S" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "A" Rank capability.
