Festival of the Unwanted Guest [Kiri]

The ninja village of Kirigakure has been under a long slump of very little productivity since the late Hachidaime‘s reign ended. With the previous Mizukage giving out the location of the village, unwanted guest have managed to find the location as well. Now with the other kage’s gone, the village seemed to have grown completely stagnant with the death of the last Mizukage. Mizukage Runeska has decided to begin moving the village along again. However, before that could occur, a sudden assualt would begin on the village, in numerous locations. As it turned out, the location of the village had been leaked and in the process, an unknown number of unidentified invaders snuck in. Unbeknownst to all, they’d have laid in wait this whole time till a new kage was elected. Once that occurred, they’d strike just as the village was returning to normal and everyone thought the things were safe. Through this process, the strike would take everyone off guard as they attacked suddenly on many of the public important places around the village.

The locations to be attacked were as the following: the village gates, the hospital, the kage’s tower, and the streets. Their purpose is unknown, but all that is known is that they must be stopped, before lives are lost and the village, totaled. The first location to take the hit would be the shinobi academy. Classes were canceled, thank God, but it’s clear they mean to kill as many people as possible, and they don’t care who they kill. As a result, of the attacks, numerous shinobi will be dispatched to defend the locations being attacked while others will be sent to destroy the invaders. The village defenses are not working and where would all the anbu be during this time? It’s unknown as to why these defenders of Kirigakure allowed such to happen and have yet to step in, but it leaves a feel of plot in the air, a very dangerous one.

In order to find the plot behind this attack though, the defenders must find clues to those who orchestrated it and to the one leading the attack. There in lies the difficulty though, as the attacks came in periodic waves. Most of the attackers are not very strong, but the sheer numbers are over powering alone.

As the attack is supposed to happen suddenly, the threads will be up for a few days for anyone interested to do general rp before the attacks start. Attacks will start after there are at least three shinobi/pcs or after it has been confirmed that the people present will handle an entire thread by themselves. It is highly recommended though
