Effect: Blunt stick like weapons used for bashing, attacking and defense that reaches within a certain length and genre.

Drawback: This Quarterstaff cannot be replaced. A different one must be purchased.
Description: This unique quarterstaff has special markings down the entire length of the staff. The markings are just beneath the surface of the wood in small indents. These indents seemed to have been carved out then had metal poured in. The markings themselves are an arrangement of symbols and markings. This Quarterstaff is 12 feet in length. It is made from oak and has thin metal lacing just inside the wood in small indents that run the length of the staff before connecting to each end. The metal lacing is connected to Metal caps on each end that act as weights (for better impacting strength) and support so that the staff would be very hard to break.

Quiet to a point but will open up to someone that shows interest. Inwardly he stays suspicious of most people unless they show true kindness. He is over protective of his staff and will only divulge why to the most trustworthy of his allies. His skills have been honed to be of a more protective style and this reflects how he acts. He will protect those he calls friends throwing all his might into saving them. Sometimes he shows signs that he may have lost friends before and he will try anything to prevent such a loss again.Appearance:
Sometimes he speaks before he thinks and this lands him into trouble more then once. This is just a by-product of being raised in a barn. He will sometime make people uncomfortable with his topics or sometime just blurt something out in the middle of a conversation. He tries to watch this though and works on this social flaw as best he can.
He has a great fondness for painting and modeling and it is a subject he talks about with great knowledge. He is a little more prone to ask questions and be more open if he finds that he shares this interest with another person. Often people will find him using the clay to make figures of people and objects that he has recently seen. He is quite accomplished at it and can make an intricately detailed model that fits in his pack abnormally fast.
Dreamkite has a feminine look to him as do most of the Kaishin bloodline. He has Black hair that he keeps wrapped up in three loose pony tails, one on each side of his face and a longer one down his back. He has green eyes that still show his playful side but otherwise have a hard look to them when deep in thought or when considering someone as friend or foe. He has a large variety of clothing but prefers to wears a dark green cape around a buckled jacket. The cape help to keep his face concealed and the jacket provides a small amount of protection. The jacket acts a little like a small poncho that rests over a black shirt, it is secured with buckles to keep it from falling or getting in the way of complex movements. The shirt has red ties around the forearm to secure the fabric and prevent it from flowing too much. His precious staff is behind the cloak strapped to his back. When he pulls the staff free the cloak will fall off.

Effect: With this technique the user is able to create water from oxygen in the air for water techniques. When this water is created they can then manipulate the size and shape of the water, controlling it within their radius.
Special: This jutsu can be used as a source of Suiton jutsu without additional handseals.
Drawback: If the water is made for use outside specific jutsu or to manipulate the size/shape of water in their radius, then this jutsu requires handseals.
Description: By using their chakra a Kaishin member can manipulate the molecules in the air and allow them to take the shape and form of water. In doing so the user is capable of performing techniques that require a water source. The amount of water that can be made, as well as the radius depends on the rank of the jutsu. For D rank the user can create up to four cubic meters of water in a radius of four meters. At C rank eight cubic meters and a radius of eight meters. At B rank seventeen cubic meters of water in a radius of fifteen meters. At A rank thirty two cubic meters of water in a radius of twenty meters. At S rank fifty two cubic meters of water in a radius of thirty meters.

• Aisu Soushi (Ice Creation)

Effect: With this technique, the user is able to create ice out of any source of water around them.
Special: This jutsu when combined with Suiton Soushi can be used as a source for Hyouton jutsu without additional handseals.
Drawback: The water source must be within their Radius. When controlling or Creating Hyouton outside of Hyouton jutsu then the user must perform the required handseals.
Description: By using their chakra a Kaishin member can lower the temperature around a body of water at an incredible rate to freeze the water into ice instantly; allowing for ice techniques to be used. In order to go into a rank of this technique a member must first learn the water creation technique of the same rank. If one wishes to train into the C rank Ice Creation they must first learn the C rank Water Creation technique and so on. The radius at which ice can be made depends on the rank of the technique. At D rank four meters radius. C rank eight meters radius. B rank fifteen meters radius. A rank twenty meters radius. S rank thirty meters radius.
Limit: Must have Water Creation Technique rank by rank. ex: D for D, C for C, etc. Must have Ice Release. Must be of the Kaishin Bloodlimit.

Description: The understanding of this technique allows for a Kaishin user to truly harness the power of ice creation. This technique will determine how hard ice created is. The user must be the same class as the rank of jutsu they wish to learn. This means to learn the B rank version of this technique the user must be B class or higher and so on. At D rank the ice is as solid as regular ice. At C rank the ice is as strong as iron. At B rank the ice is as strong as titanium and cannot be melted with fire techniques below A rank. At A rank the ice is as strong as hard steel and can’t be melted by fire techniques below S rank. At S rank the ice is as strong as adamantine and cannot be melted by fire techniques. This technique is the base of all ice techniques used. The strength of every ice technique depends on this.

Effect: Allows the user to move around on the ground or water as if they were skating on ice. Cuts travel time by half.

Drawback: It is easy to track down anyone who uses this technique anywhere besides an ice terrain.
Description: By manipulating water molecules and chakra underneath their feet, the user slides across the ground or water as if they were skating on ice allowing them to travel much faster then the average shinobi’s running speed with less strain on their muscles. With each step, the area stepped on is covered with some frost.

Shunshin no Jutsu, 瞬身の術, (Body Flicker Technique)

Effect: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. This technique allows a user to move from one point to another at speeds double of their speed potential of up to ten meters.

Drawback The user is only capable of doing this three Times per day after learning it the first time. Each time learned the user is capable of going into this multiple times. Each time learned the user is capable using this technique an extra turn per day. If the user uses this technique more then stated, the user's muscles will cramp and render the user unable to run about and move period.
Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination.
Limit: User must have a Character.

Drawback: After returning to surface the user must rest half of the time used underwater. As example, if the user has stayed under for 20 minutes, he’ll have to rest 10 minutes before the jutsu can be used again.
Description: Simple technique used by channeling chakra to mouth, lungs, ears and eyes. With chakra moved to mouth and lungs the user gathers air from the water and is able breath underwater, chakra guided to ears protects from the aching caused by pressure, lenses of chakra protecting eyes work like swim goggles.
Limit: Anyone can learn it, the techinque doesn’t even need a scroll, smart ninjas should be able to figure out the process on their own.
Ochiru Ame no Jutsu (Falling Rain Technique)

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone)

Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited; however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state. When first learned the user is capable of having or capable of creating up to Five Clones. Each time learned the user learns this technique the number of Clones is capable of increasing by one. The maximum amount of clones is Ten for the Difficulty Class of D Rank. For each Difficulty Rank Increase the number increases by five of maximum but learning is still one per learned.

Suiton – Suirou no Jutsu (Water Prison)

Effect: A Technique that may be used in order to trap an opponent by creating a prison made of water. The water is used so that the opponent may drown within the water if the opponent does not know how to escape forth.

Description: Suirou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the water to form around the target into a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. When combined with a bushin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby.

Effect: Using a weapon or ones hand, the user slash's the air creating a sickle shaped gust of wind mixed with chakra that speeds out cutting anything in its way before eventually dissapitating.

Drawback: Accuracy counts and as the gust keep moving, they can damage anything in the area.
Description: Not to be confused with Temari's Kamaitachi no Jutsu which requires a fan. The user gathers chakra to there hands or weapon and slash the air, diagonally in front of them with much force as a sickle shaped gust of wind blows out incredibly fast. It can cut down opponents, inflicting a moderate amount of damage and chop down trees. It has even been known to cut through rock when used with enough force. Can also repel weapons and even sound waves.
Limit: Must have Wind Release
Kaze Ya no Jutsu (Wind Arrow Technique)
Rank: "D"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: User is capable of breathing inwards and exerting outwards a large like arrow to pierce into the opponent's body.
Special: User takes in a deep breathe filling their lungs with air.
Drawback: Only one may be created at a time.
Description: The user molds chakra and breathes in. He or she then blows out and an arrow made of wind is shot from the user’s mouth. This arrow may be blocked as it is just a large consumption of wind, however it can not be deflected away. This means that the object must be large in size enough to defend from one against the wind. The size of the arrow is the size of the opponent's mouth with the length of three feet as it can travel up to the distance of twenty meters. This technique is used for short range to steer an opponent away from the user.
Limit: Must have the Wind Release

Dreamkite’s story begins early in his life; he was taken from his mother to be trained as a ninja shortly after he was born. He knows not what has happened to his mother or father, or if they are alive. The man that took him from his mother was an unknown ninja that probably sought to use his unique skill for personal benefit. Regardless according to the two farmers that saw it happen and rescued him; the ninja was caught and killed by other ninjas that wore masks. The ninjas fought all around throwing explosions and kunai everywhere, soon the rain drenched farms was covered in craters and blood. Eventually the two farmers, Harumi and Iwao Ryo, heard silence beyond their house walls and went forth to investigate. They heard the child crying in the mud they picked him up and as they did so one of the ninjas with a mask spoke from down on the ground. His wounds were grave and he was covered in his own blood. “Take the child” he said “and run… that ninja was only hurt… he will… hunt you.” Just before he died he also gave a strange staff to the Ryo’s saying it is the child’s. They had little choice they packed up and ran taking the child with them.
They found a place in the Land of Fire, Hi no Kuni, and stayed hidden for many years. The Ryo’s effectively adopted the child naming him Yumetako (Dreamkite) as they grew so attached to him that they felt he was like a wind born dream given to them. They raised him for many years teaching him farming and sculpting. He showed a great interest in clay sculpting and soon mastered the craft often making complex recreations of people he saw and things he has seen. Iwao said that he should always practice this craft so that he could one day be famous for it, saying that it would make him so proud to have a famous sculptor for a son. Yumetako knew that he was not their son but all the same he felt such affection for them and wanted to become that son for Iwao and Harumi.
Around the age of seven he found he had a good friend called Saburo. They had a lot in common they both liked to model clay and were farmer’s sons. Shortly after meeting Saburo they went off into a dark forest that was nearby that their parents warned them not to go into alone. It was a very hot day and because Saburo knew of a great pond to go swimming in they disobeyed their parents and went into the forest. They made it to the pond and went swimming. They were having a great time until a bear happened upon their pond at first they didn’t notice until the bear roared as one of them accidentally splashed the bear. It reared up on its hind legs towering over then blocking the sun so that all they saw was the huge form of the bear. They screamed and tried to run. The bear was too fast for them though and then it struck. Its paw collided into Saburo’s small body sending him flying over the water where he landed on the shore blood pouring out. The shock of seeing his friend so badly mauled left Yumetako standing in disbelief. The bear roared again and was raising its bloody claw to strike him. Something happened within him as he snapped at the bear he did not care that the bear was so huge or powerful, he did not care if he died, and he just wanted that bear to die. He struck his fist into the bear and as he did so ice formed into the bear piercing it with hundreds of icy shards until the entire bear was encased in ice. Water was dripping from his fist and a small ring of ice had formed around him. “What just happened?” he thought he had no idea how this happened. Then he heard his father behind him “what did you do son?” He had heard their screams earlier when he was getting firewood from the forest.
His father carried Saburo to the house. Thankfully he was still breathing. The Ryo’s did their best to bandage Suburo and gave him medicine to help with pain and to keep him asleep. Then Yumetako was told of how the Ryo’s found him. They speculated and debated what to do It was decided that he must be a gifted ninja with unique powers and that is why he was sought after as a child. Yumetako was given the staff, and that they would help him practice his new found power. They did not know which ninja’s could be trusted they were not sure of the masked ninja’s plans for Yumetako and the other ninja may have been trying to save him. Either way they had no one to trust but themselves.
Saburo died a month later. After grieving the loss of his friend, the Ryo’s punished him. Using this punishment as an excuse for Yumetako’s absence, Iwao and Yumetako would go to the forest to try and train his power. At first he could do nothing. However after a year he found a way to create water out of thin air. It was very limited at first and he could not create it very far from his body.
His skill at producing water progressed rapidly but this was not the effect he had produced before. So they continued to practice for two more years shooting into the dark as to what they teach him. Sometimes Harumi would try teaching him, and it was her teachings that lead to turning the water to ice through a method of meditation. This helped him even further with his water creation as he found that the more he could focus his mind the better the results.
Iwao sought to make his techniques easier on the boy and started endurance training with him. Iwao would often have Yumetako water the whole garden with his power which was no easy feat considering the immense size of the farm. With this he developed a way to harden his ice technique finding that if he put more strength into the formation of ice that it would become immensely harder, sometimes as hard as the metal tools used in farm work but not always and was never very reliable.
So it came to pass that Yumetako became skilled at his technique often making tools out of ice to use. He is able to make small tools by using his knowledge of modeling to mold the water then freeze it. This proved to be a strong training tool for him which he practiced almost as much as his clay modeling. And he would continue this until his father said he should learn to fight with a weapon as well.
Iwao wanted his son to know how to use a staff and saved up to hire a trainer for him. Using a twelve foot quarterstaff for practice Yumetako was put through a vigorous training in the use of the quarterstaff. After 2 years of training with the staff he was quite capable of using it. After the teacher was paid, Iwao said “As with farm work teamwork is always important and so will your quarterstaff and your ice power. Use them together somehow and then I would recon you would be a force to be feared.”
One morning, about one year later, Iwao was saved by a ninja. He was not sure who his assailant was but he nearly lost his life. After the attacker was run off by the ninja he introduced himself. Iwao was surprised at the kindness the ninja showed and even gave him some medical treatment for the broken leg he received from the attack. Iwao was so impressed that he asked the ninja if he would wait at a local town for awhile. The ninja said that he would and that there will be a few other ninjas there as well.
After being saved, Iwao headed home to tell Yumetako and Harumi. It was time to deside if these ninja’s could be trusted. They had always known that a time would come when they could teach him no more. A time when Yumetako would need to leave. It was time to seek his destiny and discover his history. It was decided that he would meet these ninja’s just Yumetako and his father Iwao.
Yumetako was given a few things they had from the day the found him a couple unbroken kunai, several shurikens, wire, and a knife. They then gave him a pack to fit a supply of modeling clay brushes and paint to remember home incase he left with the ninja’s after meeting them. Lastly they gave him the quarterstaff that was said to be his. It was a unique staff with markings all around it. It was heavier then his other quarterstaff but on the way he was confident he could be come used to its weight. Then Yumetako and Iwao headed out to meet with these seemingly friendly ninjas.

I am not sure as to how to start posting in these fourms. I figured setting something up in my history might be helpful for introducing my character and me to this. I will be honest this is my first time posting on a RP forum and I am not sure what to expect. I have had a lot of experience with RPing in general though. Most of which I would contribute to City of Heroes. I am a devoted anime fan my favorite series being Naruto, Bleach, Get Backers, Spice and Wolf, and Code Geass. I always enjoy a good story with strongly developed plot and characters and I am hopeful that my first character will add something to your site. I myself am hoping to improve my writing skills in this adventure.))
