Examiner 4- Team One- Tsukiko and Phyre

[Chuunin Examiner]

The letters given to the applicants scattered them, sending the many people to the far corners of the island that is the Land of Moon, although one team just took a short jaunt down the street to the corner.

Still, though, no matter where they were sent, the address always lead to the same building; a short, squat warehouse that seemed constantly out-of-place, no matter where it was. Rusty metal walls with a tin roof left it looking downright rickety, and the interior was no comfort. A double-wide door would grate horrificly on the concrete floor as it was opened, leading into a dimlit interrogation-style room. A waist-high wooden table, lined with scratches and stains, stood imposingly behind two chairs, with a singular chair behind it. The names of the persons belonging to said chairs was etched in the back, and was visible from the doorway. Behind the table, another door could be seen, likely where the leaders of the exams would enter. But- these were the Chuunins. Expect the unexpected.

Once the ones selected for this made it to their place of coming to, they would open the door of the run down shack to find a air of history flowing from the cracks of the floorboards. There standing side by side,would be two door frames behind the table with the names on the chairs. One was blood red stone with white cracking though out it, with blood red blocks on the corners glowing a green glow. The other door frame is white pillars with white stone on top, the base of pillars planted below the floorboards, so the floor is formed around the pillars. each door frame has a note on the door frame if they, that are named on the chairs, dare to read them.

Phyre opened up the letter as the others seemed to go off in other directions. She realized hers didn't go the same way as Shigure's and Hiroki's did. As much as she won't admit to her team that she truly does like them being around. She wanted them to be with her, deep down she felt it strengthened her in her ability to attack. Phy would however maintain her cold shoulder for now as she walked in the direction the letter said to go.

She tried to think through where this letter was possibly taking her and what exactly was going to happen once she reached her destination. She would finally come up on some sort of run down,rickety shack of a place. 'Yea...this can't be right....' she thought thinking they would have built something better for the grand chunnin exams. Though reading the letter again, and retracing her steps in her head, she would shake her head knowing that somehow this was the place she had to be.

With that she did a quick re-check on her equipment, something about this place gave her the sense of a trap or something just was off and wasn't right. She ran her hands to either side of her legs feeling the hilts of her two sais ranging thirteen inches of their longest stick. She felt at ease just with those but she had more in her butt bag she carried. Including, ten kunai, thirty shuriken, six smoke grenades, and one hundred and sixty fake exploding tags. She had yet to even really use these, but maybe these exams might actually make her have to put them to use. Phy had no radio on her as she constantly forgets about it. Other than that she also had a digital camera that resided in the bag as well.

Phy would cautiously walk closer to the shack inspecting now every step she took. Her hands rested on her sais, not that she was familiar in really using them in combat, but a certain relaxation of nerves was what she needed right now. She tip-toed as silent as she could be past the door that seemed to have left marks on the concrete door as it was opened. She ducked her head in as it would appear no one else had shown up or was even there. Though the first thing she really notice was the chair that barred her name across it. 'How did....' she thought stopping herself, her face was alert and skeptical of what was going on.

Upon walking towards the chairs seeing someone else's name written on the other one. She would take notice to the stained table behind and the scratches that were all over it. That was when she knew she had to fully draw the sais out. Looking about the room once more and back at the chair that was next her. She started to try and play smart examining the mysteries bestowed upon her. She was however tempted to try the chair out staying by the blood red one that she thought was oddly aimed at her.

It would take some time before the girl would notice the note on the door frames. She would just eye it not willing to grab it. "pfft..that's gotta be a trap..." she would say out loud.

Taking to the sky she would open her letter in the air finding out what she had to do... according to this she had to make her way to a warehouse in middle of the storage district. Flying above the ground with her raven black wings she would scan the area until she found where she had to go. As she flew around the area she located the are where she would have to go. As she began to lower from the sky her 75 black and white butterflies arose from the 15 flowers implanted in her arms. Checking she hadn't lost anything as she landed, Tsukiko's hands patted over everything, her hat type two with the yatake set wa there, all twenty kunai in her tactical knife vest were accounted for and all the exploding tags were still present. - Ten kunai with 20 exploding tags, two sets of four kunai with either a pair of elemental Ice tags or elemental lightning tags upon them then the final two kunai with incendiary tags on them. With her white hair still tied back and her purple and black outfit still in shape she would check the rest of the slot holsters and their contents. The 15 slot holder utility belt type 2 held two slots of ink cartridges, a single slot of poison and oil cartridges and two slots of water cartridges for the pair of multi use brushes she had attached - each of which contained a slot of ink cartridges anyway. Two painting scrolls, a single lensatic compass 60 exploding tags and two ink grenades used up the rest of the slots within this slot holder. At the back of her utility belt sat a type 1 butt bag, it's contents weren't too different to that of the utility belt. Four ink grenades used most of the room but she had managed to safely fit another lensatic compass, slot of medium ink bottles, a painting scroll then a single slot of each ink, poison and water cartridges. Held tightly around her body a black type 5 cloak held twenty five slots of items - ten painting scrolls and four slots of poison cartridges then two slots of ink cartridges and a single slot of water cartridges. A slot of small, medium and large ink bottles left five slots remaining which were quite comfortably taken up by two lensatic compasses, 32 elemental ice and elemental lightning tags which fit within the same slot. Seventy six incendiary exploding tags another painting scroll and her world map used up the final slots completely filling her in. Then finally she had a wireless radio around her neck and in her ear in case she had to be contacted at all. Arriving at the tin shack someone had already arrived before her, she would walk in making sure her Taki headband showed but upon closer inspection she recognised the person as some she had seen in the tower and with other Taki ninja. Feeling a little less anxious she would keep a soft but serious look on her face. Hello my fellow shinobi - what is the situation here then? As she entered into the shack her wings would remain out but tuck in close to her body and hide within her cloak. Every item of clothing she had was specially designed to not interfere with the many rituals she had done upon her body. Looking around the room she found two envelopes and two chairs each with names on it - one was hers. I heard you say something about a trap...I assume it is about the names being placed around. Using the vines in her collar bone she would point them out and leave one close to her letter. This is the chuunin exams - we will be put in danger but we must work as a team. DO you think we should grab the envelopes? I can do it with my vines to keep us as safe as possible. She realized she hadn't introduced herself but didn't really care too much about it however she knew that it would in the very least help them be mroe at ease with one another. M Name is TSukiko by the way The whole time she had spoke Tsukiko hadn't looked at the shinobi she was with - the only time a glance went her way was when she had first entered the shack.

Nothing really happened when Phyre, that was on guard from whatever traps were around, tried out a few things before the other. It seemed that she had seen the doorways and spoke of it being a trap. Tsukiko seemed not to really notice the doors like the first one, instead seemed interested in the envelope on the table. If anything it just seemed calm, but there was rules in play now, that was not there from before. It depended on what they did next with their opinions. but the notes on the doors awaited for them.

Phy stood still, though her head was quick to turn soon as she heard Tsukiko enter the room and greet her. She would look her over to notice that it was one of the kunoichi's from Waterfall. Feeling a bit more at ease that least she was with someone from her own village, though she didn't know the girl at all yet. Phy motioned with her head. "Well...there's also those notes on the doors too...Think they say the same thing, if they even say anything at all? The name is Phyre by the way." she would say pronouncing it like the element fire.

"Well I chose your vine opening idea of these things, you can go ahead and choose the envelope or the note on the door frame." she would say being she was one for little words. But she came here to win, she might as well speak a bit more when needed for the sake of teamwork. "The scratches and our names on these chairs, just seems...suspicious to me....like ya said its the exams and they will most likely be dangerous. Who knows those things might as well be exploding tags or something." She would say most of it nonchalantly and end it with a very brief 'heh' like noise.

Tsukiko would start with a simple weave of handsigns as she gifted her vines a hardness equal to steel whilst still keeping their fluidity and flexibility. THen utilizing 6 vines within both her palms she would take ahold of the envelope and two notes opening any envelopes etc needed at a safe distance away from any potential traps. SHould they be opened and nothing dangerous be found within she would then bring them forward and gift Phyre with the one having her name upon it. Then reading her note and then the letter she would look upon the chairs Phyre mentioned. IF we have to sit upon the chairs there is something I should be able to try to make sure they are safe if you agree... The Li clan allows me to bring my paintings to life and as such i can create something to sit upon the chairs. ooc - Ididn't know what to put due to not knowing the letter contents so sorry for small post

Effect: Lets the vines become as harder as rock or even steel. This is mainly to cause more damage or to be better protected against attacks.

Drawback: Can not be used during Vine Sensitivity. Makes the vines extremely heavier then usual. Can only be used with vines that are outside the body.
Description: With this technique the user makes their vines as hard as rock. This will increase the damage done by them, as well as it raises their defensive abilities.
Limit: Must be a Zassou.

The envelop would burst into flames as the vines would open it, but it did not harm the vines at all. Other wise, the quiet of the room seemed to be pressing around them, restlessly the energies of the room seemed to be drawing to the doors, as the red door darkened slightly as the flames ate at the paper until there was nothing left of, then the door hummed slightly. The second one would follow suite as it was opened before the notes were read by the two. the white stone would turn to a brown gray color as its envelop also burned. But the notes would remain to be to read by the two people in the room. The following notes would be read by the two shinobi.

A shinobi has been hired to to seal tomb closed, you and your partner have been chosen to foil their plans and prevent their work from happening. The man has been last sighted in the small town of Holloween. His art is a makeup artist and con artist as trade with his skills of sealing items forever. Your mission is to find him and dispose of his plans. The envelop with the name of Pyre will contain a last sighted image and map of the town. Once you pick this mission, the other doorway and papers will burn to the ground.

An Lord has put in a request for a pair of shinobi to kill his wife. His wife has been found to be cheating on him for another lord of the sea. But he has asked that it look like the lord she was having the affair with to make him look like he did the deed. The lover of the wife is name, Lord Haik Medad Kosta. He can be found the township called Lowpoint. The envelop will contain a image and map of the town along with a map of his castle. Once you pick this mission, the other doorway and papers will burn to the ground.

Phy's eyes looked on with a slight curiousity as the two envelops would burst into flames. "Hmm..." she said as she was thinking in some way she was right about traps after all. Phyre Logic at its finest... As the other two notes would be opened it seemed text was indeed written upon them. Phy would begin to read the one with her name on it. She mumbled some of it out loud though. "Kill some dude's wife. Seems a bit barbaric for someone that cheated on the guy. Welp if its a lord I'm sure he has no looks, couldn't honestly blame her for doing so..." she would say as she read hers over.

Though if this was her mission, Phy was unsure if she really could go through killing someone just for the sake that she cheated on the guy. Then again...Phy wanted to win the Chunnin Title, and having never really killed anyone before, she'd probably do it if she had to. She looked over to her comrade, "So yours say the same thing? Kill some Lord's wife?" she would say not really thinking she had just said most of it while she was reading it in a lot of her mumbling. She would stand by the note and wait for her Tsukiko's response.

When the envelopes were all done with their burning she passed one over to Phyre who would proceed to read hers before Tsukiko started on her own. "Kill some dude's wife. Seems a bit barbaric for someone that cheated on the guy. Welp if its a lord I'm sure he has no looks, couldn't honestly blame her for doing so..." Ummmm Tsukiko would quickly read through her own letter discovering that she had to prevent some shinobi from sealing a tomb... Apparently mine is to prevent a tomb from being sealed but it also states that your envelope has the picture of the guy i am supposed to foil..... do you think perhaps ours are linked seeing you have a picture? Tsukiko would have a little think realizing that they would either have to split up or just go through the one door and Tsukiko prefered her quest to starting a war. I am guessing we can do but one and personally I would rather not kill someone's wife just because the husband cannot keep her happy. What do you think, I have a feeling we may have to be quick on deciding. Tsukiko would show Phyre the note but keep ahold of it not knowing what would hapen if someone else touched her note.

Phy raised her eyebrow as Tsukiko read a bit of hers. "Yea...honestly I do like preventing something idea better...." she would then look back at the picture she had, since Tsukiko mentioned Phy happened to have that picture needed for that particular task. "Hmm well not sure what to make of the picture, but here take a look." she would say deciding to hold onto it but show it in Tsukiko's direction. "Domestic affairs...of drama...just sounds like a headache....waiting to happen. I agree lets do what your note says."

Phy would then take the picture and any other content, but she would place the task hers had said the note that is back down on the table. "I'm ready when you are." she would say making sure her sais were back in their holsters properly.

Tsukiko would walk ahead - something had happened to the doors when she picked up the envelopes but now it was time for her to show her bravery - taking a bit of a deep breath Tsukiko would step forward. She would walk through the door that her envelope originally was attached to - what was on the otherside..... only time would tell.

Phyre nodded in response to the lets go from Tsukiko. She would then proceed through the doorway Tsukiko headed towards. She appeared fairly calm on the outside, though the inside was pretty nervous.

[Chuunin Examiner 4]

The doors were not named to each person, they were stand alone away from the names on the chairs. Names were just that, names on chairs. The doorway not chosen slowly burned as the doorway to the world that the pair stepped into. They were outside of a remote village in a jungle, with darken skinned villagers all staring at them, as they came out of thin air. The villagers stared at the pair, their eyes showing them, turning from awe to fear. Before one person broke the spell, they shouted out in fear,

"Demons!"

Almost everyone but one single person turned away from them out of fright and yelling at the top of their lungs. The person was a little girl, who was about three years old, and her bright black eyes with her black curly hair framed her face as she would gaze at the pair of magic people. Her mouth opened and she would speak,

"Magic!"

Then she would turn away and run away giggling as a few grown up men stared at them, clearly the low lifes, as it was now showed to the pair, they had cleared a market place. The beggars haven't moved from their spots though. Who would they pick on their contact in the village? Who was safe?

[Lava Beneath the Falls]

As Phyre would walk through the doorway she was a bit confused as to how the scenery changed so quick. One moment they were in some run down shack, and the next in the middle of a village with a bunch of darken skinned individuals. Phy was a bit on edge as she looked about the scene, the moment the majority of them started to screaming demons....Phy had no idea what to make of it. She wasn't sure if that was exactly a good or bad thing to be called one.

Though from the tone of their voice, Phy figured it wasn't exactly a welcoming committee. She reached for her sais, and drew them out. Phy can be very cautious at times, and she rather be prepared if the villagers decided to attack suddenly all at once. Though she was more confused hearing a random younger voice call out it was magic. 'So....we're witch demons?' Phy was thinking sort of as a joke. Seeing as it seemed the younger girl thought it was funny to yell it.

Phy would look over to Tsukiko, on assumption she is standing by her. "Well....got any bright ideas?" she would say in a low tone. Phy wasn't necessarily willing to be a peacemaker/negotiator with these folks. Speaking wasn't one of Phy's greatest abilities anyway.

All but a single person would turn away from the taki duo - the young child who's eyes remained locked on the pair would mutter but a single word. Magic Raising an eyebrow Tsukiko would turn to Phyre I really miss my library right now.... but what you gunna do eh... Hearing the comments given by Phyre, Tsukiko gave a slight smile with only the corner of her mouth... I have one idea but it might cause them to really think of us as demons.... I can use my wings and fly high to have a look around for starters but i think we should go speak to the girl more than anything. I know it strange but she is the only one to not accuse us of being demons... I would rather be a witch than a demon.... what do you think? Tsukiko would flex her black wings once or twice before letting them sit once more behind her back... Finding ones bearings in a new situation and location does normally help... the villagers may not be as happy to help us as we would like.

The little girl moved though the streets, her eyes darting quickly about before she seemed to be heading off to a place up to where a junk yard slum was. The opening was a large circle drum that was open on both ends, and a high wall of trash going around the little slum village. There was everything found in the world that seemed to exist, there was parts of ships, homes, old nuclear parts of factories, the domes of the nuclear plant to be more correctly.

The piles of junk, left over tin coverings, to create a home for families that lived there. And behind them was a well to do city, where are they and where was this little girl heading for. There was a larger ill built home made out a dome in the middle of the homes around the small slum village. Her feet were taking her to the home, as she was making sure not to walk in the waste of animals and people over the ill lay stone paths. Her head would glance behind her once in while to see if she was being followed or not.

Her hands would undo the door way straps that held it in place, and she would enter the house, after a soft spoken look and a hand sign to the person on the other side of the door. Once inside she would speak,

"There are two magic people in the town, I think they may have followed me since I was the only one that called the magic."

The man would reach down and pat her head before he would speak to her,

"You have done well if that is so, go eat your milk and bread now, Fynn."

Her head would dip and she would move off to where her food was kept. The man would wait at the door to see what would happen to his door.

Phy would nod as Tsukiko spoke. However she never saw a person with wings before, so it was a bit of a shock to her to see them. She was in awe, thinking how much of an advantage her partner for the exams had on her thus far. Though within this time frame the little girl had taken off somewhere behind the growing crowd. "I would say taking to the sky would be a good idea. I'll fight my way through the crowd and cover the ground. Catch ya on the flip side." she would say before tearing down the street, pushing her way through the crowd.

Due to the crowd, Phy wouldn't be able to see where the little girl ran, other than just going off pure instincts and keeping an eye on what would just appear to be a shadow in the sky, Tsukiko. Due to Phy's lousy depth perception, some objects far away a bit blurry. The injury to her left eye was her main disadvantage, though she would never come out and say that to no one. Phy began to wonder if the crowd was some sort of paid off actors for the exams. Or if they truly were just being themselves.

'Just where the hell did she go?!' Phy thought, as her eyes seemed on a constant look out hunting for the girl.

I'll fight my way through the crowd and cover the ground. Catch ya on the flip side." Flexing out her wings one more time Tsukiko would take to the sky expecting to hear even more demonic statements... luckily they were feathery and she didn't really care about them anyway. They weren't a direct threat to her and wouldn't be treated as such, keeping an eye down and upon Phyre and the other around she would attempt to keep the girl in view. Making a call for extra searches she would perform several handseals and begin to pull out a painting scroll and bring forth a a multi use brush where she would paint 18 birds on her scroll before watching them fly off the page in search around for the girl. After a couple of moments they would return and fly back onto the scroll giving the information back to Tsukiko. The brids found where the little girl had went off to and after flying her way back to phyre Tsukiko would call out form above THIS WAY I FOUND HER During the time she would fly to where the girl was, Tsukiko would put her multibrush and painting scroll away. Upon arrival Tsukiko would land and pull her wings in whilst still keeping them out of her body. With a knock knock knock on the door she would await for someone to answer her and for phyre to catch up. DUring this time she would look around realizing how much of a tip she was in a slight shudder went down her spine before any reply came to her and glad she was that it wouldn't be seen. 18 small birds on a scroll 1 c rank of ink used in brush 1

Effect: Allows the user to bring to life and control a set amount of drawings or paintings.

Drawback: The objects are made out of ink, and thus very weak. Most “D” rank attacks have the ability to completely destroy the ink creations, no matter of their own size.
Description: The user will rapidly draw several objects, usually animals, on a scroll. Then, performing the right handseals, the user will bring those objects to life and use them for offensive purposes. The monsters, made of ink, also share any special properties that the ink has.
“C” Rank- Allows for a maximum of ten small creatures at once or five medium sized creatures. This ability may be re-trained in order to increase the number of small creatures by two and the number of medium creatures by one each time this is learned. After the initial time learning this technique and four additional trainings, the user is required to perform “B” ranked training to learn more.
“B” Rank- Allows for a maximum of twenty small creatures at once or ten medium sized creatures at once, or one large sized creature at once. This ability may be retrained in order to increase the number of small creatures created at once by three, medium creatures by two, and large creatures by one. After the initial learning of the “B” Rank, it must be re-learned a total of four times before the “A” rank may be learned.
“A” Rank- Allows for a maximum of thirty five small creatures at once, or twenty medium sized creatures, or five large sized creatures at once, or one gargantuan sized creature. May be re-trained any number of times to increase the number of small creatures by five, medium creatures by three, large creatures by two, and gargantuan creatures by one.

A knock would be seen and heard as a person made some strange noises as he waited for half a second. His large body would swell as his large arms would move to open the door to show his visitor/s on his doorstep. His rich brown eyes would eye them as his chocolate skin would accent his black hair as he would speak in a gentle manner, but still give off some weird vibe if they could pick up on this,

"Can I help you? "

Depending on their answer to this question, was weather or not if they had followed the right path. His world was in a time that was peaceful enough for himself. his young female was well cared for here, and she was happy here, and he was simply glad of that, she was his world. she often had visions that said magic people would end their troubles.
