This thread is Open, but set in Kazue's home. Any may enter if they like, but at least have some reason to do so. Or just invent some bullshit reason. Whichever.

'Even after twenty years, some things are only awakening for the first time.'
The skeletal being was observed, peering at her through sightless sockets and poised... oddly expectant. The girl frowned at the apparition; what did it want of her? This was most curious. Usually she awoke to Ariak shouting at her like some maleficent, spectral drill sergeant, berating her for sleeping habits, or else Suolucidir would taunt her for the nature of her dreams, or else Asoya would merely ramble about today's weather and the state of her being. Never this.[/ul]
'POWER.' Boomed a voice.
'Lookit, little Kazue, little Kazue growing up!'
Miserably, the woman groaned; the volume of the specter's shouts was like a spear to her vulnerable, morning brain. She rolled over again, like some poorly operated marionette, and scraped for her glasses, which sat dutifully at her bedside table. She managed to pinch them, and rolled onto her back, sliding them down onto her eyes, past her ears -[/ul]
And it was only then that it occurred to her that she had been seeing just fine without them.
Ayosa chuckled.
The girl flicked her glance back and forth between her audience of three, though they were all oddly silent, terribly unhelpful. Realizing she still had them held up, the girl looked back down at her hands - she could see her sheets beneath her arms, and oh god, her legs beneath those, and her very muscle and bones and her mattress and the carpeted floor and...[/ul]

The tormented girl awoke.
What was the point of such triviality, anyhow?
'You awaken.'
The haunter.
[/b] She responded, instinctively, screwing her eyes even further shut. Correction: Two variables; she was not in the mood for her tormentor's shit today. As ever, the wraith did not listen, hanging about her bed, a spectral image whose terror had long since faded. Now, he was merely a bother to her. 'The days pass; tomorrow, you are twenty years old, a survivor of almost two decades in a world you find most foul.' It went on to bespeak, and Kazue's jaw clenched in irritation. One could never fault Asoya on precision. "Fuck off." She moaned, seeking the refuge of her pillow and burying her head in it. Unseen but heard as the softest whisper of cloth, the purple wraith floated over her and settled down in front of her obstinately closed vision.[/ul]What was the point of such triviality, anyhow?
