itting on the carapace of his eight legged monster pet the Godaime would make himself comfortable. As the leader of this team he would have to set an example, so he had arrived well ahead of time. For his comfort, he had actually spread a rug over the carapace of the almost ten meters long beast. He had a dewar flask filled with tea and some time to kill until the rest of the team would arrive.

Despite this probably being an easy mission he had prepared thoroughly for this. Due to his expertise and storage methods the Hokage's impressive arsenal -14 kunai, 4 smoke and 4 stun grenades and 20 senbon -of which ten had explosive tags wrapped around them- did not make a single sound. The entire arsenal had been spread between two pouches and several pockets in his cobalt blue, gold trimmed haori, each laminated on the inside with pockets and soft fur, dampening all sounds. Moreover he also carried his fan tucked in his obi on the left side, a huge scroll, 4 wireless radios, 3 blood clot pills, 2 soldier pills, 2 small scrolls and a world map. Prepared for everything Gosei had hidden his gas mask, fitted with a strong filter underneath his haoiri, also tucked inside the obi, but on the right side. Finally, the ornate bracelet he wore on his left wrist was loaded with 57 senbon, cleverly hidden in the designs of the accessory.

He adjusted his purple trimmed snow white hakame and kosode as he sat down on the rug, three meters above the soil. Pouring himself a nice cup of tea in the cap of the flask, which doubled as a cup he would take care not to spill anything over his blue shinobi sandals. Now, prepared and in lotus seat he would await the arrival of the others, as he kept the gates in sight. He would see them as they left the village and they would see him as he sat on his huge red knee tarantula

Ryuichi had never seen such a large. Ryuichi was dressed in his usual attire that consisted of primarily grey colors. On his pants were thick black lines in various patterns in addition to that on his right leg he had a thick red line going up the outside part of his pants leg from the bottom of the leg all the way up to his waist, curving slightly as it went up the leg. On his torso he wore a primarily grey jacket with black lines that made an image that some could argue looked kind of like either a one or the vertical shape of a dogs head. On his right side he had a large red symbol that helped lend to the thought that the black lines made a vertical image of a dogs head. On both shoulders reaching down his sleeves he had red lines that reached all the way down to the wrist with a black outlining on them. On the left shoulder of the jacket on the arm side, he wore the symbol of the Kasuta clan and on his back a small red flame. Under this was a simple red T-shirt that he wore in case he felt like opening the jacket up. Around his waist was his utility belt, which contained all of his items. In his utility belt he had thirty (30) zipties, one (1) lockpicking kit, two (2) rolls of Black Ninja Tape, one (1) lighter, one (1) walkie-talkie, ten (10) Kunai, two (2) knives, two (2) smoke grenades, one (1) incendiary grenade, and four (4) packs of cigarettes, though one of those four was in his pants pocket along with its lighter. He then jogged over to the team’s leader and did a small stretch, he then gave a slight bow and said “Ryuichi Shirahama reporting in for the mission sir!” after that he pulled the pack of cigarettes and its lighter. He then pulled a single stick from the pack and lit it, sliding the pack and the lighter back in his pocket as he took a long drag from the cigarette, letting a stream of smoke out of his mouth.

The moment I exited through the gates leading out into the countryside, the familiar pathway I had just used alongside Amarante came into view. Now, was this the only visible pathway leading to and from the village? But searching further, the most hideous creature was the first thing that caught my eye. The next being Ryuichi. But seeing a tarantula of that size was enough to give anyone a heart attack! Ugliest thing on the fucking planet!

“Where did you find that bug?” I said, my tone oozing disgust. Insects were repulsive to look at, especially the giant, hairy ones. Just how huge was that thing? Ten meters wide and three meters high? Sick! Approaching the group a little further, I remained wearing my battle outfit which was a full body suit consisting of a breast plate, dark red sleeves and a black overall tunic – like shirt over dark red trousers. I wore a pair of black knee guards and shin-high black combat boots.

Since I currently owned no weaponry, I suddenly felt like a pathetic fool. But there was no way that I was going to inform my team that. I just needed the cash. And I needed it soon. My hair was positioned at the top of it crown in a nice, neat, yet extremely tight bun. My brings however, was two bags which framed my harsh expression yet my eye-liner and lip-gloss were reapplied recently, thus giving out a somewhat fresh, yet dark appearance.

But upon seeing Ryuichi standing approximately 1.8 meters away from the spider and Gosei, who was sick enough to sit upon it, I managed to issue a smile which didn't reach my eyes. “Hello handsome. I see your still wearing that dorky outfit.” I say, slapping the elder teen on the back genuinely. Was I in a relatively good mood today? Well I was just paid for another mission. “Gosei-san, just wanted to let you know that I don't have weaponry yet.” I said sourly, slightly embarrassed by the words I just said, but if this was a kind of mission that involved combat, then I would be up the creak without a paddle and needed some kind of protection from the two guys beside and in front of me.

OOC: Yeah, I was stupid enough to make Kohaku and forget to create a post for weaponry. So she pretty much has everything expect weapons. Gotta get paid a few times before she becomes entirely useful.. Sorry guys

A

t least two were on time. Higan had already sent a message that he would arrive later, yet as soon as possible so for now the team was complete. "I must commend your punctuality, Ryuichi." Gosei said, taking a sip from his tea. Shortly thereafter Kohaku arrived, still in time. So far these two were doing good. "Welcome to you too. I found it terrorizing a village a few years back, so I fought and tamed it. Like him? He does a pretty good job at scaring off those who intend to oppose me. Do not worry, I only allow him to eat my slain foes and the occasional cow."

He nudged the spider, which descended until it's stomach touched the ground, the use for this move was clear. "Higan is dealing with something else for the time being, he will try to join us later. So hop on, we'll be faster on Sir Pounce'a'lot." And whilst saying that The Godaime extended his arm to the two Genin, to help them mount his beast.

Once both had found a place on the rug on the back of the arachnid he would adress another issue, the red clad girls lack of armament. "Too bad about the weapons Kohaku, you can borrow some from me for the time being." Reaching into his starter pouch he would retract five kunai and switch them with a small scroll from his triple scroll size pouch. He would clip it loose it from his purple sash and hand it to the girl. Inside she would find the five kunai and twenty senbon, ten of which had an exploding tag wrapped around them. "That should be enough for this mission."

Once all of them sat as comfortably as one could get on a huge tarantula the Kazeraikou would unceremoniously dump his tea on the side of the row and screw the cap back on the dewar flask. [cyan=color]"Don't worry, this is going to be a fast but smooth ride."

[/color] Nudging the spider again he would set it in motion towards the forest where their prey would await, unaware of the doom that was approaching.[/blockquote][/size]

Though when she neared her words made him blush ever so much that no one would notice it right away. Though his blush all but went away when she said he still dressed like a dork, he didn’t feel like he dressed like a dork. Ryuichi then listened as Kohaku said she had no weaponry, and he was thinking of what to give her of his own armaments when Gosei brought the spider closer to the ground, dumped his tea and offered them to ride on the back of “sir pounce a lot”, the apparent name of the spider. Being a gentleman Ryuichi allowed Kohaku to get up on the creature first, though the situation from before seemed to make it so it would be seemingly taken the worst way he could imagine. Once she had gotten on the creature, Ryuichi would mount it too. Ryuichi still thinking about what to loan her, was suddenly pulled from his thoughts when Gosei had decided to loan her some of his own equipment. Sighing internally, he knew that nothing he gave her would be better than the equipment that she’d get from the former Hokage. He would still consider giving her some items of his, though he didn’t know what exactly…

So he tamed a giant bug that was terrorizing a village? Why? Giving Gosei an awkward glance, I was surprised to be asked if I liked it biased off what my expression showed. But something told me Gosei was merely being smart. “Oh yeah, I love giant spiders. Especially when they're terrorizing villagers and eating cows.” I said with a cheeky grin. “Just didn't know you were a big enough coward to hide behind it. Figured you were all high and mighty due to once being the Hokage.” I said, walking past Ryuichi who didn't bother to acknowledge me at all.

But as the beast lowered itself down, Gosei spoke again, this time about that brat whom I had met back at the manor. Higane I think he was called. But the fact that he wasn't coming along with us for now brightened my mood even further. But at the spider's name, I burst out laughing. “Sir Pounce'a'lot?” I said between laughs, accepting the Godiame's offered hand and allowed myself to be pulled upon the tarantula's back. Being this high actually felt nice. “Nice name.” I said sarcastically before moving over to allow Ryuichi to climb on as well.

But when Gosei handed me a pouch, surprised, I hesitantly took it from him while listening to him state that whatever was inside would be enough for this mission. Opening the pouch I found the weapons he had given me: twenty senbon, ten exploding tags and five kunai. “Um.. Thanks.” I said somewhat softly than intended and attached the pouch to my side. What a nice gesture considering the insult I gave him earlier on. But when Gosei went on to stating that our ride was going to be fast and smooth, suddenly I found myself wondering if this spider was going to jump it's way through since Gosei was known to be a smart ass. So grabbing Ryuichi's right arm, should be choose a spot beside me, I would hang on to him during the ride.

The western forests of Konoha have always been tangled with strange rumors. Rumors of devilish monsters that rise up from the ground like zombies and hordes of bandit camps hiding in the dense foliage, waiting to ambush those who tread to close. These rumors have made it so that only the Leaf Villages ANBU patrols pass through these trees on their daily routes, any other travelers passing through rarely at best though even the ANBU have trouble with this area and many have not even returned most by unknown reasons. The rumors that keep everyone one out however are the exact reason that some people move in to this part of the forest. The seclusion is desired for example by criminals that hide in the shadows of this dreaded place to avoid detection and punishment.

As Team Seiryuu would approach the area they would find that going into it there would be no paths, only incredibly dense foliage that even Sir Pounce'a'lot would find difficult to traverse. Not to mention that the tree branches were erratic and twisted, covered in vines, moss and all other kinds of fungi to the point that leaping between them was dangerous and near impossible even for a ninja. It was a nightmare but the sounds, the sounds were worse! Coming from the forest the sound of insects was almost deafening, you could almost hear them crawling about, and every so often a howl or scream of one gruesome animal or another could be heard either screeching in attack or in agony.

[Sorry it took so long but yeah I had a work party and well... Free booze. 'Nough said. Also the tree branches are to small for the nine meter long Sir Pounce'a'lot to traverse. Challenge 1: Finding a way to traverse the landscape.]

n the spider the travel to the forest would only take a few minutes, leaving only a small time window for conversation. ”Cowardice? We are shinobi, if by cowardice you mean that I am the one to survive the day and the other is to bite the dust then I’ll be a coward any day.” When the Godaime first lay his gaze upon the forest it became apparent that this was a hostile environment. Anyone hiding here would have a very clear advantage, just because they could lie in wait for aggressors such as this team. Normally he would have taken Sir Pounce’a’lot up in the trees to avoid any traps on the ground. This time however, the dense foliage would prevent him from doing such a thing.

They could try their luck on foot, but that certainly not an option Gosei preferred since it posed the largest amount danger. This left him with two options, go under or over the forest. Under the forest however would be a good way to transport his huge tarantula out of sight, but it would also make it difficult for them to search out their targets. ”The forest ground is dangerous and it is obvious that Sir Pounce’a’lot will not get through these branches. S I think it is best to search from the air.” After saying this he would get off the carapace and jump onto the soil below. Autumn had just set in and a layer of dried leaves crunched under his feet as he touched the earth.

Taking a kunai from his remaining pouch the Godaime would create a small cut on the thumb of his right hand. Raising his left hand he would reveal an intricate seal on his left wrist, depicting a couatl. Tracing his thumb against this tattoo he would smear a small bit of blood across it. Shortly after this act a large puff of white smoke would appear on his left. As it cleared, dispersing on the autumn winds, it would reveal another monstrosity. A fifteen meters long feathered snake blinked curiously at the forest. It was arguably prettier than the spider, her scales were an almost white grey, whereas the plumage that surrounded her head like a mane and composed her wings was snow white.

”Gosssei? What isss it thisss time?” She rumbled, her tongue slipping in and out of her mouth as she spoke. ”Good morning Wayra, I am sorry to call you down here, but I need your aid. We are looking for four criminals in these woods.” She rested her head on the ground, at which point the Godaime would climb onto her back. ”You sssay you are, but you are never sssorry…” Not dignifying that with an actual response the Godaime would merely shrug, for it was kind of true. ”Well, what are you two waiting for? Hop onto the next gigantic monster. We need to find our prey. Unless any of you has tracking skills that I do not yet know of. ” Once all were ‘on board’ the serpent would flap her wings and rise about twenty meters above the treetops, which brought them to about thirty meters above the actual ground. As they would fly over the forest the spider would remain at the edge for now since it would only be a liability with limited movement inside the dense foliage. Soaring over the treetops Wayra would scan the earth below, using a heat sense unique to serpents. From this monster no one could hide…

Since Humans and animals well warm blooded animals emit a distinctive amount of heat it’s quite easily to tell where one is at. When a snake learns this technique they are able to sense or see any creature that is within sixty meters in front of them. The snake is not allowed to see anywhere else around them, so this means they can't sense behind him. However, the snake is indeed capable of "sensing" behind objects within this range. This technique was devised for snakes in order to help them hunt when wanting some good food.

Suddenly the treetops would no longer be as wide as they had been, making it so that safe travel by spider was impossible. Following the former Hokage, Ryuichi would dismount from the giant spider, and watch as the man slowly pulled a Kunai from his pouch and then slice his own finger, before he could object the man would summon forth a large, flying creature. The two of them seemed to know one another, and it seemed that the next mode of transit would be atop this creature. Ryuichi would mount the creature after the Hokage did, taking a spot just behind the man with a few inches separating the two of them. He would then extend his hand down to help Kohaku up if she so desired it, whether she did or did not before they continued on he would ask the main question on his mind “Gosei-san, what is this creature we’re now atop?”

The western end of Hi no Kuni was one of the most twisted looking forests within the area. The tangled roots and thick, bushy trees obscured what light that did protrude through the tiny specks. And despite most things are detestable, I did find this forest remotely beautiful. Gosei's reply regarding my calling him a coward didn't seem to sit too well with him, but what amazed me with the former Hokage was the fact that all of his replies are performed with such a calm manner that anyone would swear he was never angry or hurt.

I chose not to reply to him and simply enjoyed the ride alongside Ryuichi. But upon stopping, I listened to Gosei inform the small team that his giant spider could not travel through a forest like this and that we are to travel in the skies. At first I never spoke a word; it seemed as if I had left my stomach back at the gates along with my voice box. Fucking bug can travel. But watching both men drop off the spider, I follow suite and land with a graceful thump and moves over to stand a little to the left behind Ryuichi while Gosei summoned another creature.

This one was by far the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. In fact, immediately I took a liking to the beast's beauty the moment the smoke cleared. And what was better was the fact that it spoke. “Such beauty..” I breathe, crossing my arms as Gosei instructed us to mount it. Ryuichi was second on the creature and even offered me his hand. I hesitate at first, simply staring at the hand for a few moments, but ended up taking it anyway and pulling myself on. But despite I accepted the waiting hand, I didn't want to touch Ryuichi all that much.

But when he asked about the creature's identity, I perked my head around to his right to listen. “Where can I get one?” I then asked once Gosei answered Ryuichi's question. I wanted one badly and by oath I was willing to do anything to get one. “Your really graceful for a mythical creature, uh Wayra, isn't it?” I said softly, leaning back from my seated position to touch the feathers on Wayra's back. “And Gosei-san, what kind of criminals are we looking for?” I ask, my tone between demanding and curiosity.

As Wayra would sense the forest floor she would find it full of large living things, a lot of large living things. From what she could see she would be able to interpret would be the form of a few dozen bears, big bears, and what would appear to be the image of some giant insects including spiders as large as if not larger than Sir Pounce'a'lot though the most disturbing thing she would notice would be a gigantic wasp of sorts laying its egg in one of these giant spiders. It wouldn't be a pretty sight. She would not however be able to discern the body heat of any humans within the forest meaning that they were hiding well enough that her abilities were not enough for her to not read them, or perhaps they were not in this part of the forest? If the group would continue to search the skies for a while however within the dense canopies they would find an area where they could land near a water source, a large and rather deep lake about a mile across in surface area. Within this area there would be nothing for Wayra to sense on land or in the river nor would there be anything to see. The lake was murky yet drinkable and the land open but empty. Nothing of apparent interest here though it could be a starting point for a land based search if they so wished.

he serpent made a grunting sound as she heard Ryuichi’s request. ”I am right here, insssignificant one. And to relieve your ignoranccce, I am a Couatl.” Meanwhile Gosei was also peering down, but between the dense foliage he could not make out much. Of course one of his two protégées already wanted to know where to get a Couatl of their own. ”You don’t just ‘get’ one. You have to earn the right before you can sign the summoning contract. Besides, the Kukulcan family only respects strength and neither of you is even near their league at this time.” Wayra, however, did seem to be susceptible to the praise from Kohaku. ”Thank you, sssmall one. Gosssei never tellsss me that I am beautiful. Men huh?” The question remained of their targets. Gose himself had read the mission papers, but realized now that he had not properly informed the team other than that they were hunting rogue shinobi. ”We’re hunting a bunch of people who according to the reports seem to have had at least some shinobi training. We are not fully aware of their strength so be prepared for anything. As for what they stole, they seem to have a keen interest in stealing medical supplies from hospitals and pharmacies. Perhaps to feed an addiction or to just resell it for the value of the items itself, maybe even one of them is in need of medical aid. If the latter two are true than the situation can be contained. If it is the first then we need to be extra careful since junkies can be very unpredictable.”

They flew around a bit longer, after which Wayra informed them that there was nothing but wildlife to be seen. A clearing in the foliage appeared, the first one they had seen that was large enough for the serpent to touch down. Which they promptly did to continue the search on foot. ”We will wait here for a bit until Wayra returns to collect Sir Pounce’a’lot.” Gosei said as he jumped off his serpent at the lake shore. ”If you have any last questions, now is the time to ask them.” he stated, as the Couatl took off, only to return a few minutes later, flying low and slowly with the spider clinging to her stomach, using the currents of warm air to stay adrift. With the entire team reunited it was time to start the search. ”Okay, let’s start a search. We will not split up, no matter how attractive it seems to split up to increase the search area. It will make us too vulnerable to ambushes and traps. The spider goes first and we follow him, move silently, keep your eyes open and watch out for traps and tracks. Wayra will support us from the air.” From his pockets he would take three wireless radios. He would put one in his own ear and offer the other two to Kohaku and Ryuichi. ”You can keep those, they have already been set to the same frequency, which will be our team’s frequency from now on.”

And with that the ground search would start. Ahead of all of them, Sir Pounce’a’lot would clear a path, moving incredibly silent for a spider its size, using an insect sense to pick up the slightest vibrations in the soil in a forty meters radius. Gosei meanwhile would follow in its footsteps, employing his sensor abilities to scan everything within a hundred meters radius for chakra signatures. In the meantime, flying at an altitude of thirty meters above the treetops, Wayra would scan with her thermal vision for the sight of any opponents. Hiding from Gosei would be near impossible as he employed almost every means he could muster to track down opponents. He picked a random direction for now, but eventually he would either hit a trail or have searched every centimetre of this forest. It was only a matter of time.

Description: The natural ability that many insects have to feel vibrations with their feet is very limited. Most insects can only feel very few vibrations and only in a very close range. As an insect exceeds the normal size of insects this way of sensing gets gradually less important. But through carefully practising this an insect is able to hone his sensing skills and gain a deep understanding of sensing vibrations. When learned, an insect is capable of sensing even the smallest of vibrations on the earth, like a very silent and soft footstep. The radius at which insects can sense these vibrations when learning this is four times the body length of the insect. If you is into a clan that deals with insects it is also possible to learn this, but you must be really experienced at using insect techniques in order to be attuned enough with your 'inner insect' before being able to do this. If you are a insect clan member the maximum range of this technique is twenty meters. Your feet must also have a direct connection to the surface you are standing on, aka, bare feet.

Description: A snake has the ability to have thermal sense by flicking its tongue out. Snakes use this as a way of sight for most of the time. With Thermal sensing it’s able to "sense" or "see" the thermal body heat that emits off of the human or animal populace. Since Humans and animals well warm blooded animals emit a distinctive amount of heat it’s quite easily to tell where one is at. When a snake learns this technique they are able to sense or see any creature that is within sixty meters in front of them. The snake is not allowed to see anywhere else around them, so this means they can't sense behind him. However, the snake is indeed capable of "sensing" behind objects within this range. This technique was devised for snakes in order to help them hunt when wanting some good food.

Wayra was as polite as she was beautiful. Despite her reply, I chose to remain silent and to pet her back softly when no one was watching. However, Gosei's reply to my question about obtaining one began to bug me. “Well I'll ask again in a few weeks when I am stronger then.” I mutter, glancing toward Ryuichi for a brief moment while Gosei explained the situation. The wind cut through my attire, although my heated body temperature paid no heed to it's coolness. My mind was concentrated on another matters as my golden eyes continuously scanned the forest below me.

Despite there was nothing to see at this point, I felt obliged to do something until it was time to land. But when asked for any questions, I simply shrugged. What was the point of asking questions when it seemed as if no one knew about these bandits. However, Ryuichi began issuing his questions with a passion. Some held some kind of relevance. I watched as the spider was dropped off by Wayra and more instructions were given along with a wireless radio.

Accepting the device, I strap it to my neck and slip the receiver into my right ear just as Ryuichi had done. “Thanks.” Well that was something added to my empty weaponry. However, as the rest of the group ventured into the forest, my eyes scanned the immediate area, searching for any kind of movement or shadow. It was not helpful that the bushes were so close together. My boots clomped onto the ground, creating small indentations in the dirt. My posture was rim-rod while my chin was raised haughtily, almost defiantly. Just what exactly were these numb skulls wanting with this crap anyway?

As the group would set off toward the forest they would be faced with an obstacle in their path. Both Sir Pounce'a'lot and Wayra would the the first to notice though even without the aid of these beasts the threat would make itself known to the humans. A loud crunching would sound from the forest canopy before the group were even thirty meters from the tree line and a large figure would appear before them. A giant bear, standing easily thirteen feet tall when upright, would stomp out of the brush and appear before them. He seemed mangy, his brown fur battered and muddy, not to mention one of his eyes were missing. Upon his appearance he would stand on his hind legs and roar loudly at the group before once again taking up all fours and powerfully charging toward them, intent on making them his next meal. He hadn't eaten in days, he was starving and mad. Only food crossed his mind.

Special: In the Forest, Mountain, and River Regions there is a sixty-five percent chance that a user is capable of finding such a creature.
Description: Picture Standing at nearly ten feet tall these dense furred creatures are not for the faint of heart. With powerful claws and fang filled mouths these mammals are extremely territorial and protective. A claw from a bear can be ground into a potion that will temporarily increase your mental strength for three posts.

Effect: You become an expert at delivering a Bulrush. One who delivers a devastating blow capable of blowing though concrete, charging forth with such strength that obstacles does not matter. A full power bulrush feels as if it is much stronger then it should be.

Description: The user must take the time to make a quick running start of ten feet or else this technique does not work. The user takes the understanding of Bulrush to a newest degree to where whenever they make connect, a rush is more powerful, more dangerous then how most people are capable of using the Bulrush. This technique feels as if the strength of the technique increases depending on the Class level of the user. Whenever the user first learns this as a "D" Class character, the technique feels as if it is a "B" Rank technique. This means that whenever a user bulrushes through a defense, the defense takes the hit as if it is trying to stop a "B" Rank technique. When the user becomes a "C" Class character, the rank of the technique feels that of an "A" Rank technique. Finally when the user reaches "B" Class, the technique feels as if it would be considered as a "S" Rank technique.

ohaku seemed to be attracted to the flying snake. Whether it was the beauty of the creature or her power was a mystery to the Kazeraikou, although he himself was mostly interested in the latter. "Don't feel offended by my words Kohaku, but you must be prepared to fight the strongest of them in order to gain the allegiance of the Kukulcan family." The white serpent made a few strange short hissing sounds as if she was chuckling. "Jealousss becaussse ssshe Likesss me more, sssummonner?" Rather than going against it the Godaime decided to ignore this. Getting teased by his own summosn was not very high on the priority list.

Contrary to what Gosei expected, Ryuichi actually had questions as they got ready to depart."We know that they are shinobi due to the display of shinobi related techniques during the thefts, apart from that we know practically nothing. They took supplies from pharmacies and hospitals in entire boxes at once, so whatever they were searching for, they just took it all. Perhaps they want to sort it all out later in a safe location or they just took whatever they could get their hands on. I have no idea if they intend to use or sell it." Both accepted their radios and quickly put them to use. At least these two weren't for loitering around and thus they would set off quickly.

It was only thirty meters to the edge of the forest as Sir Pounce'a'lot suddenly stirred. The creatures mandibles twitched nervously as it observed the edge of the forest. Then through his sensory gift Gosei too felt it approach, as strong animalistic presence. As it thundered past the tree-line the creature revealed itself to be a bear. In an attempt to intimidate it made itself larger but standing on its hind legs and roaring. "Seriously?" the Godaime mused as he slapped his hands together in a short string of seals. If successful the animal would tumble to the ground mid charge in the assumption that its right hind leg was caught in the earth as it was a mere 26 meters away. The Godaime seriously doubted that the creature could figure out the nature of the genjutsu, considering the lack of brain capacity in animals to reason with. As long as his teammates would one shot the animal they should be fine.  Even if they failed, he still had Sir Pounce'a'lot in front of him to take any blows and to distract the animal.

Causes the target feel their leg is stuck in the ground paralyzing the leg making them unable to move that leg for the duration of the Jutsu. May cause imbalance and knock the opponent down to kneeling position.

Ryuichi listened as the former Hokage answered his questions, though not before long a strange and loud thundering sound could be heard from the forest. The young male had no clue what it was nor what it could be; Ryuichi slowly brough his hand down to his right hand to where he kept a Kunai in case of emergency but was a bit taken aback when suddenly when a large bear came out of nowhere.

Ryuichi then watched as the white-haired man suddenly made a series of handseals that he couldn’t even begin to fathom they were that fast. Ryuichi then began making his own seals and before long he had created a series ending with the tiger symbol universal to all fire based Ninjutsu, he then held his right hand up to his mouth, open slightly, he then blew a large ball of fire out of his mouth.

The ball, only capable of moving in a straight line, flew towards the bear. The ball was three times the size of the average human, it barely cleared the ground, so close in so that any grass in the way would get small amounts of fire trapped on it. Ryuichi then watched the ball fly towards its target.

Katon - Goukakyuu no Jutsu (Great Fireball Technique)

Effect: The user is capable of performing a few handseals in which gives them the capability of blowing a large body of fire in size of a large sphere that has great fire proportions and explosive capabilities.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Depending on the Rank, is dependent on how strong or how much the user is capable of doing with the Goukakyuu no Jutsu.
Description: The user quickly performs a few handseals. The user then places the hand over their mouth creating a small like circle. This technique in turn is then to help the user control the great flame. The use then blows out and creates a large fireball that twice the size of a normal human body. When the "C" Rank version is first learned the user is only capable of blowing out the Great Fireball that is cannot be moved or go anywhere else. This also means that the technique does not explode in a fiery explosion, but burns greatly to anyone that is caught within the technique. When the user learns the "B" Rank version then the user is capable blowing the Great Fireball into the distance, sending it away from the use it to hurl towards the very opponent. This technique is only capable of going into a straight line and this is capable of having the size three times the size of a human body. This technique when launched at an opponent then becomes dangerous because at this point the technique can explode causing damage that is even more devastating.
Limit: Must have the Fire Release

Offended? Why should I be offended. My wayward glance toward the former Hokage clearly showed one of annoyance. But it seemed as if Wayra seemed to like me already, yet I could not help but smirk. “I am prepared for anything.” I murmured indignantly as we ventured deeper into the woods. However, just as we approached the clearing, Gosei began explaining his assumption as to why the gear was stolen, but at this point I wasn't interested. I was bored.

Why were we even told to search in this area? This place looked more remote than any other spot within Hi no Kuni, so why the fuck are we not searching in a more populated area considering that these fuck-wits want to sell this shit. But to interrupt my thoughts, a loud crunching sound echo throughout the clearing before a large bear suddenly showed itself. The beast clearly had seen better days and even had the audacity to show it's deformity to someone such as myself, or perhaps even Wayra. Folding my arms in disgust, my attention shifted toward both my team mates briefly once Gosei made his exclaim.

“I'll say.” I gruff as the beast suddenly began to charge directly toward us. Gosh, talk about bold. Already the two males within the group had begun handseals, and as soon as Ryuichi had moved into his third seal, I began a series of my own. I knew that this alone would put me last in the list, even when my jutsu was a simple D rank. But who was competing here? I just wanted my money and to train a little more. Fuck hanging with these people. At my last handseal, my full attention went onto the bear's face. Despite it only has one eye, one eye was enough.

A bright flash of light would suddenly fill the area, leaving the two men beside me unaffected. Well at least Gosei anyway. My intentions were to daze the bear to the point when it would be forced to either stop or run straight into something due to being blinded by such a bright flash. However, would the bear succumb to my Genjutsu, or will I be too late in getting there?

Description: Affects anyone within the area the user decides to perform it on. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per class level. The duration of this technique is instantaneous. This technique may be negated. The technique works like a Grenade: Stun and affects anyone the same way. The user can alter the sound to any appropriate noise (tree breaking, booming, etc.) but the volume is unaltered. If the user causes the burst directly in front of living creatures, any creature within 15 meters of it was affected.
Limit: Must know the Figment Perception.

The bear charged in a deranged fashion, rage and starvation pushing it forward with quite haste. This haste would all be for nothing however as just as the beast started to charge it would be caught within Gosei's genjutsu and come to a screeching halt as its foot became stuck in the illusion of the ground, tripping the beast who began to try and pull his foot from the ground with no success. Whilst it was trying to free itself it would not notice the danger the other two shinobi presented as more attacks came its way. Mr. Bear was soon struck with Kohaku's stun grenade, blinding him instantly though momentarily. It was then Ryuichi's turn to attack and he sent the mighty beast a fireball the size of a tree toward it. The ball sailed true and slammed into the bear with great force, exploding and throwing the heavy body several meters back and into an actual tree.

The creature landed with a heavy thump, though climbed back to his feet, battered and scorched, he was still actually on fire now. Though by this point the bear knew no fear, no pain, only hunger and rage filled its mind. Once again the bear began to charge down the Team, the genjutsu now having dispersed as the pain had rendered it null. With another mighty roar the bear began piled down the path created by the fireball though something lingered as the roar ended. A buzzing sound would soon become audible and it would begin to grow louder, much louder. Though the bear did not hear it, it was much to focused on its meal for the sound to even render in its mind, the Team would hear it. It was like a deep rumble that just got louder and louder the longer it lasted though as of yet there was no seen cause of the buzz. The Team had a choice, face the noise or run.

Sekondo Kaze (Second Wind)

Effect: A Brawler gets his Second Wind. Once per battle a Brawler can take one round of action to where fatigue disappears as he pushes himself more to the limit then capable. The Brawler is capable of catching his strength, feeling as if he was as strong as he first started out. Sekondo Kaze acts as if a Brawler had taken a Soldier Pill.
Special: ---
Drawback: This technique only lasts as long as the user is capable of standing, usually this lasts up to ten rounds. One round more for every class level the user is higher then "D" Class. After the initial rounds the user becomes extremely exhausted and must take the time to take a break with a day's rest.
Description: A Brawler gets his Second Wind. Once per battle a Brawler can take one round of action to where fatigue disappears as he pushes himself more to the limit then capable. The Brawler is capable of catching his strength, feeling as if he was as strong as he first started out. Sekondo Kaze acts as if a Brawler had taken a Soldier Pill. They tap into their inner energy supply and push it forth into their body. For this brief moment the user is capable of one more movement then normal within the time limit, as their strength is multiply by .5 (50%) times their normal strength.
Limit: Must be a Brawler

Brawler's Saishuu Tachi (Brawler’s Last Stand)
Rank: "A"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: The Brawler becomes unwilling to die, the Brawler becomes more capable of fighting, they refuse to go down. This technique enables the user to stand for one last capability, to finish the battle before he goes down one last time.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user is incapable of using any Chakra gates at this time.
Description: As the Brawler falls down, as the opponent sees that the Brawler is dead, or has died. The Brawler is capable of willing himself to survive, he pushes his body beyond capability, taking the moment to push forward to surpass and survive to where he will not stay down till the battle is truly over. The user, the Brawler slowly stands and stands once more for five rounds only. The Brawler's adrenaline rush comes forth, as his anger rises, his will to survive, and his will to fight on continues. At this point within the next five rounds, the user's dodging capabilities moves up by one rank. This means that if the user has Sekondo Nen (Second Sense) "C" Rank it is treated as "B", if the user has Damēji Heri (Damage Reduction) "B" Rank it is treated as "A". Their "Second Wind" increases their speed by two movements for the next five rounds as their strength reaches far succeeding pushing past .5 (50%) then what they are capable of. If the battle ends before the five rounds the user is capable of surviving, and living off if he gains medical treatment that is approved by staff. If the user stays this way after the fifth round, the user will die and fall one last time.
Limit: Must know Sekondo Kaze (Second Wind)
