Waddling back to Sound (dem Portals)

After the blinding light had faded, Saranghae fell to the ground after being spit out from the portal. He bat his eyes and looked around. What had just happened? This day couldn't get any weirder. The situation currently at hand was so bewildering that the youngster didn't know what to begin worrying about first. He usually finds it had to find his toothbrush in the morning, not to mention dealing with strange flashy portals leaving him in the middle of nowhere!
He got up, looked around and decided he'd cry over this once he was back in his bed. He was a shinobi now, he had to learn to deal with problems. However, he still had to remember himself these kinds of things over and over and still couldn't believe them himself.
He was somewhere in the middle of a forest. He could tell it wasn't the same one as the forest he came from. He climbed up a nearby tree to try looking over at the distance for signs of anything familiar. The chance of him seeing something he could navigate by was slim, keeping in mind his sense of direction. He scanned the landscape and despite all odds saw in the distance a few lakes he had traveled to in the past."That must be the right way. The village can't be to far away then." He sighed and hoped nothing unexpected would happen to him at least for the next few hours.
He made his way back to the ground and made the first few steps of his journey back home. All the while he kept on hoping no more inter-dimensional portals appeared. He had enough for today.
