Angus awoke, tired and annoyed. He had spent the previous day working over his finances. They were not going well, and he realized he had not trained in quite some time. He would fix that today, he decided. Leaving his family had been the best solution, but it was hard for him to make it without any money. Thus he had smoked more lately, because he had been more stressed than usual. Today, he would wear himself out physically and not worry about anything. He might even find a way to kill dinner if he was lucky.
He came to small field, surrounded by woods and took a deep breath. He knew the justu he was attempting to accomplish would be an easy one, but that did not mean he wouldn't take it seriously. All he had to do was push something with air. It sounded easy enough. First, he would focusing on gathering the necessary chakra to his hand.
As he willed the chakra to his palm, he decided that he had enough built up and thrust his hand outward towards a pile of leaves he had gathered. Nothing. That was frustrating. He would just have to try again. He gathered more chakra into his right palm a second time. He knew there would be enough. He thrust the palm outward releasing the chakra into the air towards the same leaf pile. He felt a small puff of air, and for a slight second, he was satisfied. Then the puff reached the pile, and one or two leaves just kind of floated off for a second. He didn't even know if it was his justsu or just a random, gentle breeze.
Angus was sure that would have been enough chakra. Perhaps it was, but maybe he wasn't focusing correctly. Maybe he needed to keep the chakra tighter as he let it loose from his palm instead of just forcing it out. Keep it together for just a little longer. He decided this is exactly what he would do. So he forced even more chakra into his right palm, he could feel himself getting a little tired. It had been a while since he had trained and he wasn't used to using up this much energy at once. Still, he wouldn't let that get in his way.
When he felt as if he had enough chakra in the palm of his hand, he thrust his palm outward towards the pile, this time not letting the chakra explode out of his hand. Instead, he forced it to stay together and push the air along towards the pile of leaves. Then he let it go and small gust hit the pile scattering leaves everywhere. Not satisfied with only one completion, Angus gathered up the leaves into another pile.
He forced the same amount of chakra into his palm and thrust it outward again, utilizing the same method as before. The leaves flew all over once again, and he gathered them yet again. He repeated the process six more times to ensure that he had gotten down.
