Sekondo Nen (Second Sense)
Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: The brawler depending on the rank of the technique the user is capable of reacting through subconscious mind against attacks against the user in different manners such as being flanked, and from behind. This technique makes the brawler incapable of being surprise attacked.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the Brawler is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. If an opponent comes to a Brawler at a bar, and attacks with a sword, or a club, the brawler gains the urge to dodge to the left, or to the right, where they are capable of reacting before the action is completed. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique can not use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.
Limit: Must be a Brawler
0-10 TP
Post 1:
I was feeling somewhat ambitious on this particular day, so I headed out in search of some action. I was walking for a few moments at best, before I heard a loud cry. Help! I heard, coming from somewhere to my right. I ran towards the sound, until I came to a wide cliff on the outskirts of the village. There were trees around the edges of the cliff, and even a section of wooded area to one side. I saw a boy about my age, a late teenager, smacking a young child about the age of ten around. Instantly, I pulled out my pair of brass knuckles, resting them snugly into place before bolting at the target. I attempted to land a punch on him when I first reached them, but it was easily dodged and countered, leaving me keeled over momentarily.
After being punched in the the lower abdomen, I felt a brief lack of air, as I gasped to fill my lungs. I regained composure quickly, and was already throwing a well aimed kick straight for the unknown teens stomach. It landed with a thud, the impact leaving him lying on the ground. I grinned, glad that I was able to be the good sumeritan. I turned my attention to the young boy, locking eyes immediately. I opened my mouth, but before any words could be uttered, the boys gaze shifted to the woods at my back. I turned quickly, just in time for my brass knuckle to come in contact with, and deflect and incoming shurikan. It had clearly flew from the trees, but I had yet to spot another enemy.
Just then, I heard a rustling sound coming from behind me, and I turned to see the original boy standing to continue the fight. I set a genjutsu on him swiftly, in order to daze his vision, before connecting with my brass knuckles and leaving him in a world of his own. Turning my attention back to the forest, I was able to spot a person sprinting out of the canopy of trees. It was another teenage boy, leading me to believe that this was not just a single mugging or bully attempt, but a gang of mischevious teenagers causing havoc. I was not going to be caught offguard like that, though, as I readied myself for confrontation.
He threw a flurry of punches at me, landing only one, before I was able to land one good hit on him and leave him in a daze. Wham. A punch connected to the back of my head, and I hit the ground thereafter. It had not knocked me unconcious though, so I jumped up quickly to embrace my attacker. It was the same one I thought I had knocked out, who must have gotten back up in my battle right after. He threw another jab aimed at my face, but was thrown off balance as I ducked the punch. Sweeping his legs out from underneath him, I averted my gaze from him, to the other opponent behind me who was just beginning to regain his composure.
Throwing a quick punch with my brass knuckles towards his abdomen, I made him choke for air. I backed away from the both of them by five meters, in preparation for another attack. With the edge of the cliff a few meters behind me, there was very little chance I would get flanked or snuck up on without noticing. The two of the teenagers looked at me, before looking back at eachother. Almost in unison, the two of them turned and ran the other way, leaving me with the young boy who seemed to have spectated the whole occurrence. I grinned at him, before waiving goodbye and turning to walk away.
