Yukigakure prison, one of the last places on earth a prisoner would want to end up. It was simply put a horrible place to be. The structure itself was built into the rocks that lay beneath Yukigakure itself. At first, this deep cave-system had probably been some kind of attempted mine for resources, but now it served a different purpose altogether. To house prisoners. The howling winds from Yukigakure itself, couldn't even be heard this deep underground. The prison was slightly warmer than Yukigakure's surface, but not by much. If you were to leave a glass of water overnight, on the coldest nights, it'd be frozen when you returned to it in the morning. The prisoncells were dug into the wall, with thick iron bars biding the entrance or exit. Down in the deep, there was no natural light, the prison was lit only by torches. It made it impossible for the prisoners to know what the time was, or even what season it might be.
Yoshinee was deemed as a dangerous prisoner. Having completed the Chuunin exams, there was no doubt that she posessed some kind of skill. Along with her bloodline, the prison guards had taken no chance with her at all. The kunoichi's arms had been properly shackled, and dragged to either side, meaning she couldn't even reach down to scratch her own nose. Her feet were shackled to the floor, to disallow her from using any kind of other shenanigans to get free. The kunoichi's regular clothes had been gone by the moment she had awakened in the prison. Instead, she was wearing some old rags, that weren't even keeping her properly warm within this cold. Along with having bare feet, the girl was constantly freezing, yet not enough to get sick. It only stopped her from sleeping properly. The red hair had grown long and wild, it was entirely unkept as she had no means to do so. The nails had grown so long, that they had broken several times, leaving the tip of her fingers seeming bloody. The guards only seemed to care if there were signs of infection. The girls boney appearance had become even more prevalent, as she didn't even finish the meals that were given to her. The lack of proper sleep had colored a slight black hue around her scarlet eyes. If Yoshinee was to guess, she had been locked up in this prison for a couple of months. The waterbelt alliance had been pressured by a lot of Kage's changing in a short period. With the threat of Yukigakure becoming enemies with Amegakure, they had had no other option but to imprison the Amegakure shinobi that could reveal a lot of secrets if she was to be let go. The only marvelous thing was, that Yoshinee hadn't been executed yet. Though, something many times worse seemed to be slowly taking hold. The scarlet fire that burnt in her eyes, the dominating will to become a strong Shinobi and be the best for whichever village she lived in, had started to flicker. This torment of imprisonment was starting to break her, and she knew it herself. How much longer she could last down here, she didn't know...
As the metallic sound of the prison door being opened at the far end echoed through the prison, and eventually reached Yoshinee, she slowly rose her head to have a look. Usually the guards were very precise about when they were walking through the prison itself. So when noise was made outside of this regular pattern, usually something interesting happened, like a new prisoner being admitted. Whenever a new prisoner was admitted, she had a small chance of getting to know which date it was, and perhaps a little information on how things were outside. That kind of reprieve could give her mind some ease, and push off the inevitable breaking point. So who'd be travelling through the prison this time..?
Usually, the prisoners arrived here unconcious, like Yoshinee herself. The AnBU had picked her up in the middle of the night. They had been so quick in entering her home, so silent in reaching her, and so quick in incapacitating her movements. Having awoken just in time to feel a bolt of pain strike through her neck and nervous system, the next thing she remembered was simply laying on the floor in her cell. It had been a rough way to start a day... Though, exactly today, that was six months ago.
