Noy was I glad to be back now, home in Taki, where....life wasnt terribly exciting but it was calm and peaceful. The kage tower stood as a monument to those exact ideals I was expressing at the moment. Now with me I had my trusty melody arm, strapped to my right arm, anti flash goggles fitted over my eyes now, hiding the glow of my red eyes as I marched into the area just outside the city but within the gates. My brand new Gemshorn was on tied securely to my waist with a ziptie, another set of 4 in my pocket.
This wasn't a particularly special day in any way what so ever but I was curious of something. Team Chimera. I had seen them in passing, at the tower, out in the fields training, at the Chuunin Exams and I had even been part of a joint operation between Taki and Yuki, though I had bowed out in my failed pursuit of a massive spider....yuck.

I will cut to the chase though, I was curious about them, they seemed to have been a team for as long as I could remember, and as I tried to get a better read on them, my onigami blood hadnt been...awakened then. But I know they went to the Exams, so they must be back. I dont really understand why but....music would probably help me in this situation, to draw attention that is. I twisted the tie on my gemshorn until it broke and lift it to my lips, looking much like a ocarina, and slipped the small pipe like wind piece in my mouth. It was smooth, silvery in a way, it made my lips tingle, and the finger holes were confusing but that would come in time.
I blew softly, an even pitched whistle coming out of the finger holes. Holy hell! This was awesome! I got it almost instantly, the holes that were covered would concentrated the airflow out of the uncovered holes, and the more holes covered, the deeper the sound. My bangs played over my goggles, blinding my vision, but that was fine, I would be able to hear anything within a 100 meters if it breathed too loud. I was so focused my on instrument though! I blew another powerful stream of air though the mouthpiece and drummed my fingers rapidly, the sounds emitting from the instument were beautiful, I knew now I wanted to play a song for Kaoru at some point.
My erratic drumming slowed to controlled and coordinated strokes of the finger, using my knowledge of sound waves to better emit high pitched notes that would bounce back o me, giving me a pretty large map out of the area. I tested each hand position, memorizing all the sound it could make, the amount of air needed for the desired note and my embrasure before setting it in my pocket. "What...where can I find them?"
