Suna Nawa no Jutsu (Sand Rope) Rank: "C" Skill: NinJutsu Effect: The user uses their chakra and sand that quickly shoots upwards in all directions heading towards their opponent. The user quickly creates a large rope of sand that entangles and wraps around the opponent. Special: "Hand Seals" Drawback: A TaiJutsu Master can easily break through the rope in one round. A Taijutsu specialist in 2 rounds. And a non-taijutsu specialist in 3 rounds. Description: A thin like rope made out of sand formulates around as it is quickly launched towards the opponent. This technique is used to capture the opponent in any way and the rope is used usually. The maximum length of this rope is thirty meters. Limit: Must have the Sand Release. [0/10] [1/1] posts After nearly half a day playing around with the sand techniques Michiko had figured out how to create suitable clones from raw sand. But this got her thinking as to some of the other useful things she’s seen created from sand , she’d work later on the obvious things like weapons but what about a situation that called for something less , direct. Aiming her palm at the ground she “siphons” up a small blob of sand and brings the floating blob in front of her. Placing both hands on opposing sides of the floating pile of sand almost like she’s holding a ball, Michiko concentrates on the mass. The randomly undulating sand mass quickly compresses into a tightly packed spherical ball and vibrates like she’s trying to compress it into a single stone. For a brief moment Michiko’s hands vibrate as well as if she’s pressing inward with great strength as the ball crunches inward and begins to deform in shape. The ball spins rapidly as Michiko relaxes her pose for a moment and the sand begins to form into a cylinder. The sand rotates slowly as its forming into the cylinder. Pulling her hands apart the rod of sand quickly stretches in length and almost comes apart , like pulling on semi-soft taffy. The shape, still spinning, begins to deform and quickly falls apart in her hands. The sand simply drifts to the ground slowly as she releases her hold on it. Slightly disappointed but not at all surprised she kicks gently at the pile. Looking over the remnants in front of her Michiko swirls her hand above the sand once more and lifts a small pile into the air. The small granules flowing freely around in front of her begin to form into a long thin thread like form as she shifts and moves her hands around in front of it guiding it with a small stream of chakra. The energy in her hands resonating a pulse every few seconds sends a steady stream of chakra into the sand as it moves around. The sand responds in kind and flicks and fluxuates as she pulses it. Moving her hands together then apart Michiko intertwines the sand strands in on itself and creates a braided thread of sand streams. The sand rotation spins faster as she moves her arms around and the sand eventually becomes a long thick flexible cylinder of tightly packed sand. Flipping her arms forward she sends the snake of sand firing forth only to lose control over it sending it puffing into a cloud of dirt. With a wave of her hand a single sand clone stands up out of the pile of sand nearby and walks over to her. Michiko places her hand on the clones chest and closes her eyes. The sand clone’s entire body shakes for a moment before all coloration is lost and the sand expands outwards for a brief moment. Collapsing back in on itself the sand forms into another long snake of sand floating in front of Michiko. Keeping her eyes closed she scrunches her face in concentration. The sand momentarily expands before contracting back into its snake shape. She was losing control over it again. Gripping her fist tight she sends a slow stream of chakra into the mass of sand twitches and strengthens becoming a stronger thread. Opening her eyes and hand again the sand twists, flipping into the air and extending forward under Michiko’s will. The sand spins around but collapses into a dust pile before she gets a chance to maneuver it into position for another spin. Relaxing her chakra hold on the sand Michiko sits for a moment re-thinking on what she’s been doing so far. Over the course of the next twenty minutes Michiko manages only to form a wispy snake or a twitching undulating cylinder of sand that collapses quickly. Currently she’s holding a small amount of chakra in her hand as she rotates the sand into its snake like shape again and tries to solidify it. The chakra in her hand quickly threads out into various strings infusing into the mass of sand increasing its mass slightly and solidifying its form. By changing the rotation of the chakra she releases and increasing the flow of chakra into the sand mass she can change its size and density. Even a small amount of chakra can change the structure drastically and with practice Michiko is able to narrow down the level of chakra release she needs to let flow before she can stabilize the sand into a rope. With a flick of her wrist and a series of handseals she forms a couple sand clones to stand in front of her. With another series of handseals and a push of chakra she grasps hold of some of the sand in one of the clones and forces a thick rope to fire out and wrap up the other clone standing next to it and loop back on itself wrapping the two of them into a bound package of sand clones before the sand rope squeezes a little too tight and drops them into a large mass of sand. |
