Rank: "C" See Description
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: User learns how to redirect the power of an opponent's back and apply it to their throw damaging the opponent.
Special: ---
Drawback: May learn up to 6 Times.
Description: The basic concept of Aikido is the ability to perform a throw, or hold by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing head on. When redirecting and channeling the redirect into a takedown, or a throw which harms the opponent. The user may learn this technique up to 6 times. When first learned the user is able to redirect 25% of the opponent's fighting power back to the opponent knockback, knockdown, and crater creating. Each time learned the user is able redirect an additional 25%. When the user learns this technique the final time they are able to redirect 150% of the opponent's attacking power back to the opponent causing significant damage. When first learning the user must train 20 TP. Each additional learning the user must train an additional 10 TP on top of the TP needed to learn the technique previously. Example: Learning the technique a 3rd time takes 40 TP while learning the technique the 6th time takes 70 TP.
Limit: Must learn from an Aikido Master.
Shenjie had been following Michiko's scent for quite some time now as he tightened his Aikido belt that he wore around his thick Judogi. He was in his training garb...not that he would wear this stuff during a mission, that was just crazy talk. He slowly crossed the strange out of place training field as he sensed a very metallic feeling object jumping...obviously Michiko. "Hey there metal girl..." He commented as he suddenly sensed a few people approaching and one fellow running very close to where he was. "Can I help you...?" Shenjie asked as the fellow swung some sort of metallic object, possibly a bat or club or something towards his head. Shenjie didn't take any time to spin around and avoid the object as he used his front hand to push into the fellow's face before grabbing onto his what felt like a jacket and using his other arm to extend his arm.
Bringing his feet close together, Shenjie quickly entered, swinging in as he toted the fellow over his shoulder, launching the fellow, but instead of projecting him away into what would be a very well executed morote seoi nage. Shenjie knew how counters worked, as one had to use the momentum of the attacker to throw them. It was part of almost every throw and takedown known to man. In this instance, Shenjie was using the returning momentum of the guy pulling back from his missed strike to get into position. The second most important thing other than the opponent's momentum was using Kazushi, or balance breaking to throw the opponent off balance. While using Kazushi, even a stationary opponent could be thrown. This is what Shenjie did as he pulled him forward a little bit as he lifted the fellow up and launched him down to the ground.
As the fellow flew towards the ground, Shenjie projected his energy downward. He was very familiar with using balance, and was not afraid to use this momentum and positioning to give the guy a little feed back. This was done by guiding the fellow's arm to the ground as he slammed him. After the fellow was grounded, Shenjie had to quickly move into a submission position. As all fighters know, a fight progresses in three stages, Striking, Throwing, and Submission. The striking sets up the throwing, the throwing sets up the submission. Holding onto the fellow's arm, Shenjie quickly swung down into a scarf hold controlling before swinging onto a full mount and grabbing the fellow's collar and crossing his arms preforming a Gi style cross arm choke on the fellow using his jacket as the means of doing so. "Hey Metal Girl...What's Up?" Shenjie asked Michiko from a distance as he lounged there, holding the fellow in a choke hold submission.
