How can one define the appearances of a Kedōin?
Like all of it's kind, Deirdre Ysbal is a shapeshifter. She has multiple forms which she considers who true forms, the most common and unsuspecting of which is her "Deirdre" form. This form, is that of a girl, about 18 years of age, and the one which she grew up with. She is a fair lass, with long, shoulder length auburn hair, a clear complexion and piercing blue eyes like that of a model. Of course, this can all be manipulated, which explains her perfect, unblemished face in this form. Her nose is small, and her face has little fat on it, without the appearance of any lack of food in her past. Of course, her figure is one of her more useful aspects. Deirdre has rather large breasts, and a rather skinny body otherwise. The exact dimensions of this body are constantly in flux, but the main attempt is to make her as attractive to males (as well as homosexual females) as possible. She is anatomically correct in every way most of the time, something that was painstaking to do. She is 5' 10" and around 100lbs.
One of the other forms it often takes is the Wizened Sage, an older man of one of those ancient appearances. He has pure white hair, so white its almost translucent, once again to shoulder length, in addition to a beard of varying lengths. His face looks slightly sagging, but well kept all in all, in such a way that is portrays age, but relative vigor and health for that age. He almost always is accompanies by a cane and cloak, both created out of Kedōin flesh in an attempt to seem realistic. Despite his skinny and overall useless appearance, he is just a muscularly potent as a young man of good strength. His joints are perfect as well as his muscles. The skin on his legs and torso is rarely as old looking as his face. He 5' 7" and seems to be shrunken with age, but weighs 120lbs.
Of course, another useful form for espionage is the so-called "Beggar Girl." She is usually dirty and hungry looking, with striking blue eyes and blonde hair that represent a striking appearance, but gives no depiction of strength. It can bring pity to almost any heart. She is short, only 4' tall. Her face is round, but looking as if starved. She weighs under 100lbs, depending upon how desperate Deirdre wants to seem. She is also anatomically correct for a young female, another piece of information that was rather difficult for Deirdre to retrieve.
The sell sword appearance Deirdre is fond of and named humorously "Gregor" is that of a burly man. He has bright red hair, and a freckled face, but a square jaw and a big head. His muscles are bulbous, giving the impression of one who has seen many battles. His face has one very small scar; to seem experienced, but no so scarred that he seems to have lost many fights. He is about 6'3-4". He weighs a good 250lbs on average.
Of course, over time, any Kedōin comes up to a powerful "final form." Deirdre's is no disappointment. She has called it many things over the years, but mainly she leaves it nameless. It is an 8' tall, 500lb behemoth, the greatest she was ever capable of creating. The first thing anybody would notice about the creature is its head. Where its maw should be, it has instead a mass of tentacles, similar to many speculated demon creatures from mythology. Its eyes are dark slits, set deep into its green, scaly, head. It has various horns and bony segments spiking out from its head. It has nothing but slits for its nose. The shoulders are a purplish tint, with black veins, like some dark, bony stone poking out from the top of it. Its arms have plates of scale and bone extending all the way down to the hand, which is relatively human excepting the red, stony appearance. Its upper chest also appears, bony, although it is often covered by the tentacles. The stomach area is fleshy, but no organs reside underneath it; they are all tucked up in the chest. Its legs, although reptilian seeming, also have hairy-feathery patches on the upper thigh. Its feet are somewhere in between talons and feet, with the ability go flat for running, or curl up for a grasping, claw-like function.
Personality
Oh, personality is one of those things that becomes muddled over the years, just like morality. Thankfully, control of soul has been enough to keep consistent on Deirdre's morality, but not sufficient to keep her personality under check.
Of course, if there is one thing it has learned over the years, it is patience. When one has lived for over 1000 years, they do not mind waiting even a decade more for things to happen. Of course patience means that it will always take the time to prepare properly for things, never rushing into the fray unnecessarily. They will not, of course, spend time to ponder in the midst of a battle, but they may pull back their forces and wait for the enemy to charge. They are more adept at defense and besieging than attacking or blitzing, but they may know there are times for that. No manner of insult can drive Deirdre from her patience; it has heard every insult known to man, or so it seems.
Femininity is an ephemeral thing, and Deirdre knows that. It takes male forms just as often as female. But somehow, it feels more at home in female form. Perhaps it traces back to the female organs that it was given by its mother way long ago, but perhaps its just a thing of the mind. It enjoys aesthetics, like any good feminine human. It often spends long periods of time styling its appearance, be it of a demon or a damsel, it takes the time. It also finds itself, more often than not, attracted to men. A slightly feminine trait, no doubt.
Disinterest is often the result of extreme knowledge. It often laughs at the affairs of mortal men, and often would rather stick to the sea. Men live for so little time, why do they care if they see war? They should simply find the nearest whore and get them pregnant, and head off to war with an heir in mind. The shapeshifter race it belongs to on the other hand, must bide its time, bear offspring carefully, and preserve their long lives. The immortality by soul caster has intensified this. It is largely disinterested in mortal affairs, and fakes its death and pops up somewhere every few years so that it doesn't become some "great power" to be manipulated.
Being secretive is one of those few things that is an absolute necessity for keeping a safe life as an immortal. Deirdre is completely capable of cutting all ties when a good fake death is at hand. It will let people into its life, but it will never let them know of its immortality and its "final form." Being secretive ends up useful in combat, as it might make the user less likely to be predictable. Simultaneously, it can be hard to cooperate with team mates when one is inherently secretive.
Deirdre will never wear clothing excepting that it made with its jutsu. It likes to be more flexible by using its own clothing. Over the years, it has been in more bad situations due to real clothing than it can name. It creates interesting issues after the few hour period the clothing lasts for wears off, but it usually can take care of it. Occasionally, it ha sworn armor over time, but that even is a very rare occurrence. Deirdre's clothing is generally relatively revealing, as it likes to show off the anatomically correct body it has made for itself.
History
My sweet "mother was the Kedoin in the parentage. She took the form of a woman purely so she could raise me in utero. Other than that, she was completely male, all the time. After he became pregnant, he went to a coastal cabin in the Land of Water so he could birth me in peace, without the need for the various unpleasant processes of making me have a fake face. And so, there I was born, in some lowly cottage on the side of a road. Somehow, I was born with an eye and a nose of my own creation; apparently I had always been adept at my own facial sculpting, even before birth.
The interesting part; that was over 1000 years ago.
I remember every day of it. Everything. I have a perfect recall, so I know all 17 centuries of my life. I was raised in that cottage until I was six years old and already showed extreme proficiency with the body shaping arts. My parent than took me off on a fishing boat, where I obtained my slight fascination with the Deep. It was on one of these journeys out to sea, when at the docks, so ragged old woman grabbed me. I was in the form of a six year old at the time, so of course she took me as such.

The old hag spewed some stereotypical prophecy. I never took it as much, by my parent was a more superstitious man. He told me to use this prophecy well, and that I'd been blessed. And that I should always keep it in mind. But, of course I'll die, I told myself. Don't forget my own mortality.
And so, after years of juggling different careers, I left my parent. I knew he was useless to me. He never seemed to get anything bettered about myself. And so, at sixteen, I made myself seem adult, and went to a great university. There I learned all sorts of things, from brewing to coin counting, I became a much smarter man. My bodily manipulation was top-tier at that point. A man claiming to be of the prestigious "En'Artifex" branch of the clan noticed me there
He taught me the basics of the flesh architect ways. He made me make myself into monstrous shapes. Sometimes, I think he made me do it all for some weird fetish he had. It would explain why he had me do it all naked, and with all the absurdly specific requests... I shudder to think of it. But, more importantly is the fact that I learned these important clan techniques that allowed me later to become the beast.
Even later, I learned to control my soul. It was strange, being such a thing of body, to move my soul was very, very odd. But, the cleric who taught me, a dark man in the slums of Fang Country taught me well. I learned to move my soul in an out of my body, and eventually learned the secrets of agelessness. Because of him, on my 18th birthday, I've stopped aging. I've wandered the world, ageless and immortal.
And so, I soon left the college, but my thirst for knowledge continued. I became a ninja just about everywhere. I would elaborately fake my own deaths each time. I came in a different character each time. I've seen empires rise and fall. But now... I have joined the hidden Grass. I was disguised as a child, I went to the academy. And now, I'm an 18 year old ninja by their standards.

Description: With mastery of the cellular functions within the body, comes the mastery of homeostatic functions. Through dominance of their own body, the user can override control to heart rate, breathing and temperature. Cellular control allows the Kedōin Blood Line a robust resistance to internal temperature changes, which would normally kill normal humans. Walking around in very cold environments while matching or combating the foreground temperature is not impossible, and not entirely lethal. Through training however, the Kedōin can command the cells of the body to release chakra in such a mannerism as to falsify said color. Just like changing the skin and hair tones, the user can alter what different chakra natures would appear like within the body, without actually having said nature. This does not denote dominion over any new chakra nature for the user or abilities, but instead grants the user a higher form of deceit. The body parts the user grows can look and appear to whatever the user desires. Alternatively, some users have been known to take the appearance of large dogs for better infiltration, while some choose to appear like horrific demons or odd snake like hybrid creature for an added fear factors. The body parts grown may move and operate like the body parts they appear like. These parts however are granted enough muscles for movement, but not enough functionality to be used for jutsus. The homunculi bubbles off the skin of the user, and detaches from the body there after. The homunculi can also be formed within the body, and pushed out from a mouth if the user wishes to craft the creature in secret. This creature is granted its own nervous and muscular system; capable of operating as its own living organism for all intents and purposes. It can speak, interact with others, and think for itself. Description: A powerful culmination of techniques that makes the user an assassin of the highest order. With utmost command and manipulation, the user can decrease the production of chakra to negligible levels. The Kedōin Blood Line can control every aspect of their cells functioning through their innate blood line abilities. At their whim, cells will either cease to produce chakra, and produce the bare minimum of chakra needed to sustain living functions. To users whom can see or read chakra, the Kedōin would appear as if they have disappeared. The user will further this technique by altering their smell in such a manner as to copy the ambient odors around them perfectly; becoming untraceable through scent. Description: One of the four stances a user may learn as they are able to learn just one if they wish. Hard to maintain, so mainly used by expert Marksman. Some elite Marksman use the oblique stance. In this stance the Marksman places his/her toe of the left foot nearest the target on a line and pivoting the left foot forty-five-degrees to the target. The heel of the right foot is then placed in line with the toe of the left foot. This allows the bow arm to remain in a position where there will be optimum clearance of the bowstring when the arrow is released. The target should be seen clearly while using the oblique stance.

Effect: A technique that allows a user to be more aware of his surroundings against opponents that may be able to hit him with close range such as sword and fist.

Drawback: The user is only capable of predicting movements’ one rank below then what they have learned. The user is only capable of predicting movements that are TaiJutsu Based. Any other type of movements cannot be predicted.
Description: The way this technique works is that the user observes certain points of areas of the opponent's body such as the shoulders, thighs, and hips. Since attacks are focused on these points they are capable of making educational guesses towards points of contact that may occur within these certain points. This type of technique is a study where the user is capable of watching an opponent's movements for a brief moment of time predicting TaiJutsu techniques. When the user first learns this technique they are capable of predicting techniques of "D" Rank capability. When the user learns the "B" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "C" Rank capability. When the user learns the "A" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "B" Rank capability. When the user learns the "S" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "A" Rank capability.

Description: Another prerequisite technique that brings the Marksman even closer to combat without fumbling or worry of using the weapon. Normally without this technique there is a chance that the user could miss and hit someone else whom is engaged in melee combat to whomever the user wishes to attack. This technique makes the user proficient in hitting the target even if the target is engaged in close combat with someone else.

Accurate Marksman

Description: At this point the user is able to hit an opponent who is half covered with great proficiency and power able to hit an opponent with "C" Rank of power. An opponent may be hiding and it becomes difficult for an Marksman to hit that opponent. With this technique the user may shoot 1 arrow against the opponent per movement in which would negate hiding effects unless the opponent is 100% covered from all around. This technique allows the user to hit hidden opponents with much more ease.

Ranged Disarm

Effect: User is able to disarm within the distance of half of their proficiency.

Drawback: Only works within 1/2 Proficiency.
Description: A disarming technique where the user takes aim at a weapon an opponent is holding. The user is able to hit the hand with such precision that it makes the opponent drop their weapon. This could be used to stop opponents from performing handseals as well. A person is unable to perform techniques if their hands cannot move, or if they are unable to properly make handseals with their hands. If the user knows Shot on the Run they are able to disarm within 2/3rd of their proficiency.

Far Shot

Effect: With this technique the user learns to take advantage of the closeness of their ranged precision attacks.

Description: When the user attacks an opponent with their weapon that the user is adjacent to, the user is able to hit much harder used to combat against Defenses, increasing any attack with their weapon by 50 Armour Points. For every 2 meters away from the target, the Armour Points is reduced by 10. So at 2 meters away the user hits with 40 extra Armour Points, 4 meters away the user hits with 30 Armour Points, etc until the user is 10 meters away with no additional power committed within the attack.
