The Lord of Kirigakure would take the briefcase quite quickly as the man turned and vanished into the surrounding murk. He hadn't opted to open the case just yet, but decided to perhaps later turn it in to Fukurou Operatives that could investigate the contents thereof better than he. While his loyal favorite spoke, he listened. Hyobe held great plans for young Tora, now that he had been among the middle-ninja elitist of the Hidden Mist.
"I would require of you to form a team, Tora;" the sea blue eyes of Hyobe turned to match his Chunin's own surprisingly blue ones. "You will be venturing to the Land of Moon to carry out several missions... maybe you were looking forward to joining a branch of the ANBU?"

The Chuunin looked at his superior, raising a brow. While in the embassy he didn't want to interrupt the discussion between the two shadows, so he said nothing. To think that Kiri sent spies and gathered no information was a shame he couldn't bear. However, the next comment by the leader had gotten him somewhat curious. He had some interactions with the village ANBU squads several times before, and he hasn't really thought about joining them. It would indeed mean a little more responsibilities and more power which would work nicely in the long run.
"It would indeed interest me." He replied as he looked over at the barrel, trying to decide whether he should take it or not. "I believe it would benefit both me and the village. If you'd trust me with such a position I'd do my best to bring the village the benefit I should." He finally finished and stretched himself. "I'm certainly grateful for the opportunity."
"Then it is settled." Hyobe grunted in riposte. He would feel a sudden heft in his pocket and withdrew a tome containing the augments for a warbeast. If Kirigakure could perhaps create such a chimera... he returned the leather-bound book back to his pants and suggested to Tora.
"I could see you within the ranks of the Wolves, but you would need an animal companion for that. The Inuzuka usually expect those ANBU members to follow the Captain's ichizoku..."

"HOLY MOTHER OF F***, CALM DOWN, HAYATE!!" Akiko's voice rang out through the otherwise still wooded area, followed soon after by the tiny Kage herself, trying to restrain a large, yellow feathered Totallynotachocobo, warking and hollering as she ran through the area. The good sized bird tramped and flailed as she tried to throw Akiko off, flapping her wings as they came to the pair and their assembled belongings.
The pair tore clean past the two, flailing and struggling against each other as the two tried each tried to establish dominance against one another. Hayate slammed her rider into a tree, trying to knock her off, but again to no avail. Akiko clung to her mount like one part of a piece of continuous matter to another. "Cerberus's nine balls, I'm not going to let you win, feather brain!" She exclaimed.
"Yo," Another voice, identical to Akiko's, though significantly less agitated sounded out from the wooded area following Akiko's path as the former wrestled with her oversized bird. Another Akiko stepped out into the area near the other two, dressed more heavily than the first. While the original Akiko only had her Zankuuha, a white tank top, white pants, and white boots, this second Akiko had all that, and wore both her robe and cloak, Kyuushi on her hip, and two gallon-sized containers filled with sand on her hips. A bag filled a number of a vaguly roundish objects, perhaps nuts, hung from her hip. Another bag, as well as copies of all the excess equipment the other Akiko WASN'T equipped with, sat in her arms.
"Sup?" this second Akiko said, sounding quite blase. "Sorry for her mouth....she's had a rough day." As she spoke, she took a nut from the slightly emptier of the two bags, and tossed it to the other Akiko struggling against Hayate. The other her caught the nut, broke the shell with one hand, and popped the nut into her mouth before returning all her attention to the opinionated avian, holding tight onto the hollering bird.

Azumi strolled down the road with a sense of gusto and confidence as she found herself traveling across the land of water. Her Green warrior's Gi/Kimono like dress gave her the appearance of a warrior, along with her Flak vest armor piece that she war over her bust and torso to give her a decent amount of protection. Her pair of Tessen fans were tucked neatly away within the hidden back holster of her vest while her swords scabbard hung at her hip as well as she found herself confronting a small group of people who must have decided to congregate for some odd reason or another. "greetings..." She gretted them bowing her face that was covered in white face paint except for around the eyes, which housed a blue tinted paint to represent her rank as a member of her mercenary band. "what brings all of you out here like this?" She asked as she noticed all of them seemed to have a collection of odd goodies.
More people seemed to have joined their little party, which could only mean that Tora would once again have to turn silent and allow them to speak, which in turn would help him understand them better. Fools usually talked more than enough, which allowed the Chuunin to gain the understanding of who's standing in front of him. Luckily, the kage had finished their little talk, which could only mean Tora was free to take a step back and watch the interaction going on.
"It's rather rude to intrude like that." He said, referring to the new addition to their gathering. He then noticed the little mines, carefully picking them up and placing them on top of the barrel he noticed earlier.
At the rambunctious approach of a former -kage, Hyobe was ever ready to move if need be. Her steed, which had happened to be a large and appearing flightless bird, tore through the otherwise silent expanse of swampland towards the current Rokudaime and his staff. What Hyobe would do was quickly Shunshin to avoid being hit by the charging creature.. apparently the young Godaime still had some training to do with this particular animal.
"Hail, Lady Akiko..." he murmured as he pat himself clean of dead foliage. As he looked down at his pants, he happened to see a small hand fan; Hyobe picked it up and then heard a small crunch near him coming from somewhere to his left. Another small female stepped through the area that hadn't been a doppelganger to the former Water Shadow. "We are Mist ninja, having a sort of search for items..." he stated to the geisha appearing child.
The first Akiko continued struggling with her mount, while the second sighed and stretched her muscles a bit. She remained silent while the others spoke; apparently the two the Akikos came across were mist ninja, though she couldn't say she recognized either, and they were soon after joined by a third. One dressed in green. Interesting.
But no sooner had the green garbed one appeared, than a spotted dog appeared, handed the second Akiko a book, and ran off into the mists again. Wait...The second Akiko took stock of what had just happened, including the fact that the two other mist nin had recently obtained items that hadn't been there a moment ago...Bugger.
"Oi, Ichiko," the second Akiko said, only to be ignored. The lass sighed frustratedly, turning and calling out for another of her companions instead. "Omori!" not long after, a rather large Sturm wolf dashed out of the fog and trotted up to the second Akiko's side, a slightly puzzled expression on his face. "Go get the coffin," she said, "Looks like it's that time again." The Wolf, Omori, nodded, and dashed back off to retrieve the requested item.
"That reminds me," she said, moving on and turning back to the assembled humans, "You can call me Niko. And that one," she gestured at the Akiko struggling to stay atop the flailing bird, "you can call her Ichiko. The walking turkey dinner she's trying to ride is Hayate. Don't mind them though, they'll be fine."
“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”

Ryko strolled along through the woods taking a until he heard the sound of people talking. Walking towards all the commotion he stumbled upon a group of shinobi in the woods. Ryko walked towards them leaning on a near by tree looking them all over with a emotionless look. He didn't exactly know what to think of them yet but he was sure they would peak his interest and extract a little emotion out of him. He closed his eyes internally chuckling to himself wondering if his brother had known any of the people here.
The more people showed up the more noise Tora had to handle. Each person bringing his own individual aura of annoyance that he really didn't want to deal with. However, since his leader was there, and judging by the comment the current kage said the noisy one on the bird was a former leader of the village, which meant Tora would need to be respectful. That of course didn't mean he'd tolerate any more silliness from her either. So, he took a step back and simply decided to ignore any interaction going on there.
But before he could take of another person appeared. Trying to turn away he noticed an old fence with some sort of device with a note attached to it. Of course he was tempted to give it a go, but instead he put it under his cloak and watched as the new person just leaned back and decided to watch them in a very weird fashion. "Every time I turn around I see another person. Do you reproduce in this forest?" He asked as he took in a deep breath and looked around to see if anyone else was also showing up.
Looking at the current Mizukage he took in a deep breath and sat by next to one of the trees, hiding in it's shade, distancing himself from all of the commotion.
posting out of turn; that leaves AZUMI, CORVUS, and RYUUBLADE to post...
Watching as other younger individuals started to emerge from the marshy woodwork, Hyobe smiled to himself. While the Nation of Mist was great, it had little activity amongst its militia men. So for him to see a steady increase in the awareness of his shinobi brought to him some comfort. They would be needed in a future venture to the isle of Tsuki...
"Hello, new comer.." the Lord said, beckoning the sitting boy over towards the growing party with his newly acquired second hand fan. It had a different design on it when compared to the first one he found. After he placed the weapon away, he still waited to see whp the white-face painted female was. The Godaime had continued to amaze the Kaguya with how many large animal companions she possessed.
Niko stood around, starting to lean against a tree as she watched their little grouping expand again. From her experience though, that was to be expected; this period brought people free stuff, but they had to be interacting with another player character if they wanted it. It would probably be more efficient if it were limited to 1 on 1 interactions, but a large gathering like this wasn't out of the question.
"Well," she said, commenting on someone's question about the gathering increasing, "I don't know about the rest of you, but she and I," Niko jerked her thumb toward Ichiko, who was a few feet away, struggling with Hayate, and turning the air a deep shade of blue. "We reproduce through a sort of mitosis." Her delivery of the 'joke' was dry and flat, as if she'd been serious about it. And she was aware of a particular Kekkei Genkai that involved two twins able to fuse or split through a mitosis-like process.
About two seconds after she finished, a shady-looking man that looked like he walked right out of an episode of the Twilight Zone strode over to Niko, handed her a briefcase, and walked off. Upon opening it, she was greeted by what appeared to be paper money; stacks of it. However, upon closer inspection, only the first layer was money, the rest was uncut sheets of printer paper. And the money..."the f***'s a 'dollar'?" she asked aloud.

However, there is a 25% chance the information regarding any specific creature is inaccurate or flawed. "I'm Azumi good sirs and madam." she said Bowing to the the group who obviously didn't have enough to introduce themselves first. She slowly rose her body's posture so that she could look at all of the most Shinobi in turn. "You all seem to be out and about today, would you mind if I joined you?" she asked quick looking each member over again before deciding that they were no threat to her person. Under the law, they seemed to be just decent folks who were having a run of luck. Azumi found that It must have rubbed off, because soon after approaching Them, she found a voucher for a training area. "Excellent" she said as she neatly folded it and put it away in her vest.
Quick to riposte before his Chunin, Hyobe stood firm, choosing to not have his Mist militia men kill the girl were she stood. Once before, perhaps he would have.. back in his duty as a genin, he had done some terrible things in the name of Kirigakure....

A book was shoved into his face by some wanton wayfarer, and its description reminded him of actually creating a Warbeast. While Akiko told the group of her and her twin's ability, Hyobe remembered hearing about a clan like that before, but couldn't currently place it. He had instead returned his attention to the young traveler, curious as to who she was.
"Azumi... do you live around these parts? I am surprised to see you not wishing to join the ranks of the Hazian elite: the Great Nation of Mist."

(sorry, the thread's taking too long and getting too big for my taste)
"Oh?" Niko piped up upon hearing Hyobe's name and occupation. "So you're our newest successor?" She asked Hyobe, just before a sudden pain accompanied first one, then two books, clocking her on either side of her head and knocking her off balance. Just as she was starting to recover, the third book flew out of nonexistance to smack right into the back of her head.
The ground rushed up to meet her face, stopped only when she caught herself by reflex. Omori emerged from the mist, too late to stop the books from hitting her, but soon enough to catch all three before they fell on the ground. As Niko got herself up and dusted herself off, Omori placed the three novels, the picturebook, and the Briefcase(complete with paper) into a large, ornate coffin he'd dragged along. He then placed all the gear that Niko had brought, which presumably belonged to Ichiko, into the coffin as well.
Ichiko, for her part, had seemingly finally gotten control over Hayate for the moment. Hayate, however, didn't feel like behaving, and instead just decided to bolt off into the mists with Ichiko on her back. "Sonofa," Niko muttered, watching Hayate and Ichiko take off. "Omori, lets go!" She started to dash off, the great Sturm wolf right behind her carrying the coffin on his back, the lass slowing just long enough to shout back at Hyobe. "Oi, we should talk later or somethin'," she said just before breaking into a full sprint.
What's with those weird iron eyeball thing? Whatever they are, they're kind of weird, put them away before they stare through your soul and do weird stuff to you.

It can glow like a torch, shedding bright light in a 6-meter radius and dim light for an additional 6-meter. This use requires little effort, and has a duration of 12 hours.
