(Gonna be training, continuing from here. I derped up before, but I'll be applying Able Learner to all skill rolls from now on, getting me +50% rolls rounded down to the nearest whole roll with a minimum of one bonus roll, so for this jutsu, that's a total of 7 rolls. And another roll for my Saddila nut consumption. at 15tp and 69|125 sp for riding.)
Ichiko, meanwhile, was supposed to be the one actually training. "Hayate," she said, looking toward the totallynotachocobo, "Today, I'm finally gonna learn to ride you properly." Of course, this wasn't counting the few times she had ridden him properly before the world was 'updated' to make Riding significantly more complex and require actual training...somehow. Whatever. Point is, training time now.
'Kweh?' Hayate cooed questioningly, tilting her head at Ichiko as if she didn't understand the statement. Not unlike how she acted before. . .looks like another looney toons routine is to unfold. . . But before it did, Ichiko unzipped her robe and unfastened her cloak, letting them drop to the ground, Kyuushi and the two gallon-sized containers of sand dropping with them. The clasps of her grapnels came loose next, clattering as they fell to the ground with the rest of her equipment. The Air Trek skates were stored with the rest of her miscellaneous gear in her various pouches and storage slots. Her goggles and head band topped the pile of gear. All that Ichiko retained were her pants, boots, and tank top, all white in color save the grey soles of her boots, and the Zankuuha which were embedded within the flesh of her hands and forearms.
Niko glanced up from her book at the sound of clattering metal and sighed, silently activating her sand shield...just in case.
Ichiko bent over and reached into the bag of saddilia nuts that Niko had traded to her. Extracting a single nut, she cracked the shell in her hand and popped the meat of the nut into her mouth, tossing the shards of what remained to the side. Almost instantly, she felt the rush of energy filling her body, strengthening it, boosting it. Ichiko smirked and kneeled low to the ground in a modified runner's stance, one foot in front of the others, knees bent past 90 degrees, her arms lay across her body, palms outward and fingers bent into an imitation of a paw or claw.
Even with only half the energy of her soul left at best, she still had more than enough for the next stage. She began building energy and molding it, accelerating it, boosting herself. All that was left was to do was pull the trigger. She whipped her arms down and outward, digging them into the ground and pushing off with her feet at the same time, triggering the acceleration of her soul, the Speed Effect. She accelerated into a white blur right at Hayate, the photons around and reflecting off her body caught in the speed effect and blue-shifting.
"Kweh?" Hayate questioned just before dodging the 4-foot former kage launching herself at him, starting to trot away as Ichiko passed him. However, today, Ichiko wasn't playing around. Where formerly she likely would have slammed face first into the nearest tree, though escaped otherwise unharmed, today she twisted her body, forcing it into a roll that allowed her to land feet first on the tree. She stuck to it in a moment stretched in her perception, her momentum holding her there as it tried and failed to continue through the tree.
Before the momentum was gone, she coiled her legs, aimed at Hayate, and launched herself again, rocketing right back at the golden-plumed avian ally. Hayate's head turned as Ichiko approached, the bird's optic orbs going wide with surprise. "WARK!" she screamed in alarm just before she ducked low, narrowly avoiding the sub-sonic soul-split lass, the latter's fingers reaching out and just touching.
The friction of her brushing her fingertips against Hayate's lemon-drop plumage shifted her slightly in mid-air. Ichiko twisted and turned further, using her fairly impressive musculature to rotate her body so that her feet landed first. She kept her torso low and bent her knees, trying to absorb the momentum with her body. Her torso began to lift, the inertia of her organs pushing against the strength of her legs and trying to find a way past the latter. The clone-kage threw her hands down, finger-tips digging into the ground like claws to slow herself down and lowering her body.

The scene opens on a small clearing within Mizu no Kuni, with firm but not hard ground and soft grass, a good ways away from the nearest rode or human settlement. Trees rise up intermittently on the border of the clearing, forming a rough ring around the area. Beyond this, it was utterly average. Akiko strode into the clearing, still fully equipped with Zankuuha, grapnel guns, Air Trek, Kyuushi, cloak, robe, goggles, and all. As she stepped into the clearing, she took her two hands and clapped them together hard, using it as the somatic trigger to split her soul; dividing it down the middle and pushing the two halves apart with her hands. Each half, calling themselves Ichiko and Niko for sake of simplicity, each had all of their equipment, including a bag containing 100 saddila nuts. Ichiko and Niko swapped their bags in silence before Niko walked toward a tree sat down, pulling out a random book she brought and started to read.
Ichiko, meanwhile, was supposed to be the one actually training. "Hayate," she said, looking toward the totallynotachocobo, "Today, I'm finally gonna learn to ride you properly."
