Greetings Everyone and welcome to the 2014 Advent Calender. Today is December 3rd, which means Day 3 of the Advent Calender and the theme for today (If you couldn't see the big letters above) Is Presents! Yes, the joyous gifts wrapped in brightly colored paper, adorned with ribbons and bows. Isn't it always nice to receive a gift? But in my opinion... It's fun to find your gifts as well. That's why, for today's event, we'll be doing a Scavenger hunt for Presents! I've hidden gifts all over the site, 30 of them to be precise. And I'm wondering if you can find them all!

Here are the rules for this event!

[li]This is a one part event. 1) Go around the site and try to find all 30 presents. As you find them, feel free to PM the links to where you found them to Gift Giver. Even if you don't find all in one go, you can send me a small list, and then add onto it later. The reason I say this is because I don't want you to miss the deadline of sending in what you have![/li][li]This is a Submission Event! This means that all entries into this event are to be PMed to Gift Giver. The thread here will be locked the entire time.
[/li][li]This is a TWO DAY EVENT! That means that 48 hours from the time of posting, this event can be closed. Will it be closed immediately after that point? Nope! The thread isn't closed until I say that it is. So if I haven't posted saying it's closed, you can still search for the presents and send me where you find them!
[/li][li]Make sure you are specific in where you find the gifts. Tell me the thread, the post, the account, etc. And make sure you link to the thread so I know you're looking in the right area![/li][li]Under no circumstances are you to discuss publicly where you found specific gifts! This is supposed to be a challenge. Something that is difficult for other. If I, or any other staff member catches you cheating by sharing information on the location of the presents, you'll be banned from submitting in this event. So let's not have people get in trouble for that.[/li][li]All 30 Presents will remain in their locations for the full 48 hours, so you have plenty of time to go searching!
[/li][li]If you have a problem with any of the rules, PM Me! I'm an easy going guy, and if you waiting on a PM from me prevents you from entering this event, no worries. I will give you an extension equal to the amount of time you were waiting on me to respond. (If during the submission phase, the submission phase will be extended, and the voting will be held off until the extension is done.)

Now for the fun part... The prize! The prize for Day 3's event is... a mystery! Yep, keeping this one hidden (Most will be like this). However, I will say there is a First, Second, and Third place prize here. How will that be determined? Well! If you manage to find all 30 gifts, then you'll be entered into a drawing. I will then pick out of those people, via random number generator, who receives the prizes and in what order. There will also be a participation prize, but you have to find at least 20 of the 30 presents in order to get it. And, as with all events, a chance to win one of five grand prize packages at the end of the event. This also requires that you find at least 20 presents to enter. Plus, remember that you have to participate in all 24 events to receive a special prize package at the end! And as with the others, you need to have found 20 presents in order for this to count.

There is a disclaimer that goes along with this! If the 48 hours pass and three people have not found all 30 presents, then the amount goes down to 25 for getting the chance to get a prize, and the amount needed for the others goes down to 15. This will all be determined at the end of the event. So just try and find as many presents as you can! If things start looking difficult, I might give out hints! So go out there and find those presents!

Just to start you all off on the right track....

Take a look EVERYWHERE! Threads, Posts, Accounts, Hover over certain links. You never know where you're going to find these presents, so check everywhere you possibly can! There are some that I hid in hard places specifically to make it difficult for you!

With twelve hours gone, I'm going to offer this...

Most of the presents are in threads that aren't going anywhere. The thread itself is going to stay exactly where it is now, likely for years to come (Or at least, they'll remain where they are for the rest of the month). In fact... You could find at least 20 of the 30 presents in this type of thread.

I believe I can offer another hint, and my final hint....

For those who didn't figure out what I meant in the above post, There are 20 pictures located in Stickyed threads. (As in they aren't going to go anywhere anytime soon)

2 of the remaining 10 have to deal with accounts
That leaves the other 8 to be in threads somewhere
Only 2 of the presents are on threads that aren't on the first page of threads in a board
4 out of the 30 presents are links instead of an actual picture of the present, and 1 of these 4 isn't in a thread
And lastly... None of the presents are past the first page in any thread

Yep! The search is finally over. Any searches sent in before this point count as being received. I'm still working on fully going through everything, double checking all links and everything, so it might be a bit before I actually post up the results. But for your own viewing... I'm leaving the presents up for another day or so just to let you all see where they were located!

The search has ended, the presents have all be revealed in the post above, but what we really care about are the prizes. So here's where I explain who got what!

Before I do, I want to say that I modified the prizes a little. I didn't know that this would be as difficult as it was, and so I had to change things up a little. Especially since only one person found all 30 presents. So those who found Twenty one to Thirty presents received the top items. Those who found Ten to Twenty presents received one participation prize. And those who found less than ten presents received a different prize.

In first place, with 30 Presents... @kaius! For placing first, you receive Fifteen special vouchers and a Pass to revamp into ANY Bloodlimit, even if you couldn't normally revamp into it.
In second place, with 28 and 25 presents respectively... |Ayame Unbound| and Father 'Suke [9]! For placing second, you receive Ten special vouchers!
In third place, with 23, 23, and 21 presents repectively... Seira Kimura, Tora Tsume, and Oron Kazeraikou! For placing third, you receive Six special vouchers!
The following found between Twenty and Ten presents. They have each Two special vouchers!

So what are the special vouchers? Well I'll explain below!

Free Technique Training in Village Training Rooms: Every Hidden village has a village training room. It costs money to train there, but makes it easier to train certain techniques. With this, you can train in there without having to pay the cost. You just need to PM me every time a voucher is used so I can keep track of how many each still have

Re-roll vouchers: These can be used for anything that needs a dice roll. If you choose to use one of these, any staff member may make the re-roll. This is after you find out the result of the first roll. If you choose to use it, PM me each time you use it so I can keep track of how many are left. As I said before, though, I do not need to do the dice roll. Any staff member can.

And for Kaius, you also have a pass to revamp into any bloodlimit you'd like. This pass is ONLY AVAILABLE FOR KAIUS! THIS DOES NOT COUNT AS A SPECIAL VOUCHER! There are some bloodlimits that aren't allowed to be revamped into, but with this, you can forgo that restriction. You just need to PM me with a link to the revamp when it gets posted up so I can confirm. The history, personality, and appearance will need to be modified to match the revamp however. Along with this comes 1 FREE revamp with which to use this pass on.

You do not need to post in here saying which account you want them on as you can use these vouchers at any time. You also don't even need to state how you want the vouchers split up at this point in time! All you need to do is PM me when you decide to use one of the vouchers. I'll be sure to tell you how many you have left. Any attempts to cheat using these vouchers will be met with the extent of TP Cheating Rules, depending on your characters class.

Thank you all so much for participating in this Scavenger hunt. I do apologize at it's difficulty and I hope that offering the prizes I've offered above makes up for the difficulty in trying to find it all.
