IWAGAKURE (Village of Stone)There in the middle of the forest of Stone country is a mountain range, on the side of this mountain range is a titanic crater, hidden within this crater is the Iwagakure. Like most hidden villages, there is a dome seal protection barrier that keeps out invaders. It can defend from techniques such as the Harashin, incorporeal and the likes. It is a standard barrier for such hidden villages, and no real special properties aside that. But at the mouth of this crater is a structure that can be seen if one knew where to look. It isn't hard to find and they can see a castle built into the side of the crater's bordering wall. This is the Gates to Iwagakure...[For more: Village Information thread]
NOTE: Certain threads within the village are private toward none Iwagakure shinobi, please read village information.Gates of IWAGAKUREPublic Gates
The castle is tall forbidding as it stands behind the village. It is the public enhance to Hidden Stone village. To go to the stone village one must enter through the Gates of the castle, then enter the castle its self. Move though the great hall to the outer back hall, leading to the back entrance of the castle, and thus into the village itself. There is a couple Anbu guards scattered throughout the building. The building hosts many many rooms that one could get lost in the gate house structure itself. These rooms can be used by anyone for whatever reasons. The walls are stone, with dark wood finishing, and encased with metal plates. Merchants set up shop in the grand Courtyard as statues of heroes of the past stand watch. These stalls are temporary stalls that are vacated at the end of the day.
The Gates themselves are unimaginably heavy, roughly weighing upwards of a few hundred thousand tons. They are made with a core metal plate, stone working on the outer side, with a dark wood finish on the interior. The mechanism to open and close the gates are a gravity system with counterweights. The Tsuchikage office, and Captian of the Anbu's office have the only known controls for this gate.
There is a Seal Protection barrier that shrouds this gate much like the entire village. Unlike that barrier though, this allows for anyone to pass through the gates while they are open. Though it will not permit chakra or soul powered techniques or like abilities through rituals, to be active while passing through the halls, as it drains such activities. Also it detects these types of energies and that information is relayed to the Iwagakure Tower itself to calculate who is entering and exiting the village, though not to any great detail.
When someone enters the gate initially they would note the slits above their heads. This is not for their safety but for the safety of the Village. They are used for guards above this section for shooting down upon unwanted invaders. This section can be located immediately upon entering the gates themselves. Within that room above the enterance can be found two prison cells. This is merely a temporary holding station for any law breakers or trouble makers. Seperate trial and imprisonment his housed elsewhere within the village.
Finally for convenience and for the safety of the village, there is an Armoury and Stables just within the gates. They are guarded by a few Gate Guards and will kindly accept and guard any weapons or animal companions that may be stashed there by villagers. Ultimately the Tsuchikage is responsible for any valueables left here so if anything becomes stole, then the Tsuchikage will conduct an investigation. There is a 25% insurance upon ones items should the items deem unrecoverable.

The Gates remain open unless one of the following conditions are met:
- Mass destruction to structures/property of the village itself.
- Mass murder of its Citizens. Murder of a Village Shinobi.
- Tsuchikage orders.
When Gates are "Open":
- Do not need Tsuchikage permission to find (That's right!)
- Do not need Tsuchikage permission to enter (That's right!!!)
When Gates are "Closed":
- All permissions to find and enter the Gate thread are removed.
- Need Tsuchikage permission to enter and find (if your a None Iwa Shinobi).
- GM'd by the Tsuchikage.
- Orders to the guards are always to let no one pass, even if they are Iwagakure Shinobi.
To Enter the Village as a non Iwagakure member:
- The village gates are open to all. No prior permission is required to enter the village. However, many checkpoint stations exist within the gates to see who people are and their reason for the village
- To find the gates, a searching thread must be made. There is a 25% chance of finding the gates per person in the thread. That means that if there are three people in the thread, then three rolls are done. If one person finds it, the whole group finds it. Please PM current Kage to do the roll, not staff.
- You may also go to the Embassy in Soseki to get the location. But you must have the right regional map in order to have the exact location. Any other maps with a general location marked will allow the chance to find to be increased to 50% chance.
- All Non-Iwagakure shinobi must wait until the Tsuchikage has GMed their entrance into the village. Failure to do so will cause entrance to be voided
- All Iwagakure Shinobi using the main entrance do not need the Tsuchikage to post. However, if the roster has not yet been filled out, the exit will be voided.
Disclaimer: Come do crimes, break our laws (found here), anything considered attacking or stealing from villages is not allowed such as attacking/breaking into(entering) Village Shinobi access only(found here) threads. Other than that if you commit murder, steal, or generally break laws that are acceptable via NFRP rules, we will in kind, investigate, hunt down, imprisonment, interrogate, and all that sorts of fun stuff. This is both a warning and encouragement. Don't come to troll, do come to Role-Play. Final note, we are Stone Village filled with Earth Release users, the gates have been designed so that they can be easily rebuilt, or easily collapsed on those whom wish to destroy them...Private Gates
[Currently closed to all]
If one were to continue around the mountain ridge 200 meters away they would encounter nothing special. Nothing special unless you knew it was there. Disguised as the surrounding environment, there is a huge slab of cliff side that is in reality a secret gate entrance. There is no way to open it through the outside, no controls to activate the mechanism, no cracks to follow, no indication that there is even a gate here.
To use this Gate:
Through secret village only earth manipulation jutsu there is an Anbu Bear stationed on the other side. Through which ever method is current to the Iwagakure Shinobi to communicate, they request for this secret gate to be opened. The methods are usually through wireless radio on the village channel, or through a telepathic communication network if applicable. There can be other methods depending on how the current Tsuchikage runs the village.
Current Communication method: Telepathic Communication Network.
This Anbu Bear holds a very vital position to the village. One of the certification of this position is that the guard has to have a form of chakra sensing or an ability to see it. Then of course, as an Anbu Bear they must be very skilled at Kumotate. Finally they are given specific orders to contact the Anbu office to confirm any Tsuchikage special permissions or to confirm identities.
Once proper request have been given and granted then the Anbu Bear on the other side will use such secret village only techniques. The technique itself can make this particular gate as large as a Gigantic creature or as small as a tiny creature. This gives varying options to the Iwagakure Shinobis or even messenger birds and animals. Should someone unauthorized wish to take this entrance, then they would encounter a Seal Protection barrier that shrouds the entire village. The only point that it opens up is when the secret village only technique is preformed.
Once someone is inside this Gate there is a large tunnel that leads all the way to the Iwagakure Tower directly. The tunnel leads down 100 meters where it is under surveillance by a Binocular type camera with Thermal detection, Camera Vision, Condition Viewing Vision, X-ray viewing, Substance Locator Vision, Underwater Vision, Zooming Vision x100, and Night-vision Vision. This camera is mounted on the wall and controlled electronically by a monitor within the Iwagakure Tower. In the Anbu offices there is a Handheld Surveillance Monitor fixed to a control panel to control this. Also 10 Covert Listening Device spaced evenly 10 meters apart, and 1 Motion Sensor in the center point of the tunnel. All of this is connected to the control panel within the Anbu Office. On the ground underneath floor plates there are Mine templates that are no hooked to explosives. Rather they send a signal to the Anbu Monitor room within the Iwagakure Tower. These plates are 10 meters apart and span the width of the hallway.
Finally should this area be invaded there are a few defensive mechanism that can be triggered by the Anbu within the Iwagakure Office. Save for the very end of the Tunnel where the Anbu Bear guard is, this room can be flooded with various elements. There is a furnace that can completely flood the place with fire, it is connected to a nearby spring that can flood it with water, a mass amount of dirt can flood and trap/suffocate intruders, or even a mix of any of these. This is achieved through a system of hatches that lead to other mechanisms to produce or let loose stores of these elements. Finally the ceiling itself along the entire 100 meter pathway can drop and crush intruders. This is done through the Iwagakure's skill within the Doton release.
Finally if intruders make it past this, or simply Iwagakure Shinobi are making use of this tunnel, after the 100 meter tunnel, there is another 100 meters before actually entering into a room within the Iwagakure Tower itself.
