Climate: A huge system of caverns that encompass nearly all of the Land of Earth. It is a hugely unknown environment except to it's inhabitants. The temperature is a comfortable tropical climate as it is heated during the winter months, with moisture creating a humid climate. There is little natural light as glowing stones have been observed to radiant a blue hue. The plants and life live off this radiant light creating a viable ecosystem.

General Information

• Home of the Emma'ho. This is the term used by the GRI facility to classify all those whom live in this underground world. They compromise of dark skinned humanoids with pointed ears, Stout and muscular hobbit type humanoids whom take pride in growing great beards, half dragons, half demons, and many other dark spices of humanoids. The creatures that can be found within the caverns of this world are that of legend. From demons to dragons, mythical beasts, and of course those of underground regions, plants of course come from the underground category as well.

The Caverns

The caverns is the general description of the miles upon miles of cave networking found underneath the Land of Earth. It is almost as large as a the nation itself and is filled with unknown creatures, and societies. Anything that is related to underground regions can be found here. When traveling these caves it is recommended to have at least low light vision or a means of a light source. These caves and tunnels are a natural feature of the Land and thus it is unknown how long they have been around. It is said that many of myths and legends come from this region as there are openings created from time to time.

The entrance to such a underground world is a rare sight. In fact it is said that the entrances shift from time to time, so it is extremely hard to chart their exact location. But once within this network of caves the navigation is extremely difficult as well. Most creatures or even intelligent life down here is hostile, and unless you speak their language, they wouldn't even hesitate to attack. Be wary explorers, you have been warned

Underground Cities

There are many cities, encampments, societies and secrets within the Umbra. No telling what one would expect to encounter. Though for the most part, many are hostile against outsiders. They seem like evil entities, but in reality they are simply overly protective of their territory. Agressive and soft spoken, if one were to gain favor by one of these societies then perhaps they can have a foothold toward discovering many great ancient secrets of this world.

The Emma'ho are a society consisting of dark skinned elven humanoids, Dwarfts, and perhaps a scattering of Demi-humans of all sorts. The alliance of the Emma'ho consist of the supporters of the Iwagakure government. Though they are not without their aggression as they are a very untrusting society. When encountering such a Society, strict protocol and cultural etiquette must be observed else they become easily offended. But for the most part, they are a society shrouded in secrecy, as this is the way of life for life in the Umbra is a harsh existence. Their cities consist of many secrets on how underground life is supported. Many chakra elements and other mysterious light their cities, and many smaller village are spread throughout the cavern cities.

The Valrothian alliance is a society that rejects all things of surface life and creatures. They are far more aggressive than those of the Emma'ho. Their society consists of an even larger range of Demi-Humanoids, and Dark nature Intelligent creatures such as Dragons. Usually their only concern is with gaining power and dominance over their territory. Their cities reflect this nature as it seems very demonic and blood lust driven. It is recommended to steer clear of them at all cost.

Schatzi continued his descent into the twisting caverns, not that he had too much choice, considering how he had lost track of the way he had entered by now. He estimated that he had only fourteen hours left before he would vanish. Any buffs such as the invisibility that might have worn off over the hours of travel would be refreshed as he went, though it would begin to tax his chakra reserves if he had to do so too often, as the high amount of energy needed for the master-level illusions would outweigh his passive regeneration as long as he didn't stop and rest. Chakra was not so easily siphoned off of nature as spirit energy was.

The voices had gone silent, but so far there were no forks in the path to divert his hunt. Hopefully entering these tunnels to begin with wasn't the wrong choice. When time ran out he would simply vanish, all new items and information being granted to his other half, so becoming trapped wasn't a concern, but rather the thought of having wasted an entire day of investigation.

Forward was the only option now.

You can see a city, the gates look rather ominous. Some sort of odd Humans have been placed upon spikes. They look as if they are humans with black skin and pointed ears. But the two guards standing on either side of doors are even more curious. They look like they are a cross between a Human and a Dragon. Wings, scaly skin, and reptilian features. They both have some chromatic dark armour on and are holding halberds.

The Gatehouse itself reaches all the way up to the ceiling of the cavern. The walls extend out as well as if a man made, well demi-man made wall was erected to block the path of this particular tunnel. You have plenty of cover to approach the gate itself, but an area of 20 meter radius around the gate itself was cleared of any boulders or stalagmites. The flat area there seemed to be monitored extensively.

On each side of the gate there was a curious artifact. It was a stone that glowed. It seemed to be the source of light for this cavern. It gave color to the surrounding area as light does when given but in a blue hue. The walls and gatehouse was comprised of grey stone, and the gate itself was created from well the same material, since wood down here was a scarce commodity...

Heh, clearly these lizard-people knew how to make a statement. Impaling their enemies and leaving them on display to rot. That was pretty excellent. Schatzi approved. Waste of perfectly good meat though. He evaluated the guards closely, attempting to gauge their relative capabilities, perhaps locate some soft tissue to slice. It would be a shame to mar such dark beauty, but satisfying his growing arousal would have to wait on a return trip. Although, it WOULD be a fascinating new experience to offer once he reunited with his other half. Besides, he was certain she had seduced her escort by now and was having plenty of fun for them both.

Next time then, when time wasn't so short. He considered openly dropping his invisibility, and if that thought triggered his Doom Ward, he would instead stalk over and knife the pair in any vulnerabilities he may have located. If neither of these options was feasible, then there would be no choice but to wait until an opportunity to get inside revealed itself. Waiting was less than ideal at this point however - the clock was ticking.

No matter how you sliced it the only option was to wait. Any thought attacking, or lowering your stealth would provoke them. You soul screamed at you each time with those options. Thus the long wait...

Another 5 hours could have passed, hard to tell, no sun and all. But eventually someone came out, a guard change, and it seemed someone of official status. An officer perhaps? Maybe, but it was a female, any thought of attack and your soul screamed, but lowering your guard and presenting yourself your soul did not scream. It showed there was no danger in this option. But this simply meant it was unknown, courage would be needed for sure.

There would be four guards at this point, conversing and turning over the guard. The female Draco was monitoring the outside. She had this nasty looking scythe and wrapped in a robe that had illuminated lettering on the back. Slits cut for her wings to be out, she would eye the terrain. She actually seemed rather calm and collected. She was definitely someone of stature.

The Doom Ward finally presented Schatzi with a viable option, which was good since maintaining invisibility for so long even in a resting state to maximize regeneration meant he was all but out of chakra anyway. He cancelled the Genjutsu within sight of the authoritative-looking reptile and stepped forward. There was no alert from his ward, but that just meant there was no IMMEDIATE danger. Something could come up at any time. But really what did it matter? Thanks to the Soul Split, even though death would hurt like hell it wouldn't be a true ending to Schatzi Rutherford. It would definitely hurt like hell though, and not in the sexy way. He'd felt it before. Not at all arousing, not one bit.

This new one looked to be different, implying that the species still possessed gender. Though not as muscular as the guards, which the shapeshifter now assumed to be male to her female, she seemed larger somehow. Whether that was a trick of the mind based on the deference shown or a physical fact was difficult to tell for now. But she did look delicious indeed, far superior to the radishes he was accustomed to dealing with. He wanted to devour her in every sense of the word, his arousal growing at the thought of it. He smiled viciously, and his hand wasn't the only thing raised in salute.

"I don't suppose any of you speak Common?" he quipped, attempting to combine his capabilities for theater and dialect recognition to affect a Fierian accent.

It it was revealed why, the guards shouted back in Draconic, "SURFACE DWELLER KILL IT!!!" common language was not a common language down here. The save and grace of the female raised her hand and gripped her scythe, she raised the other to stop the guards. There was a heavy accent but she spoke common, "Are you with or against Iwagakure." there was no malice in her voice, she was trying to hide how she felt about Iwagakure. The reason here was that she was testing Schatzi.

The Draco female's eyes were piercing, investigative, reptilian... She was indeed a beauty. For this one tense moment it was silence. Your doomward did not scream out though. Not unless of course a hostile position was taken, or the wrong words were said...

Turns out most of them did not, in fact, speak common. Instead they just sort of roared at him. They couldn't be dumb animals though, not with architecture on this level, so it must be their language. Might have to learn it some time. The female though was definitely in charge, saving him from being rather painfully skewered

Are you with or against Iwagakure? Well that was a complicated question. In all honesty Schatzi had no personal feelings on the matter. His Master had ordered that he gather information on them, and do whatever was necessary to maintain secrecy, even if that meant murder. God that stare was making him hot though. Well, no point lying about things with so many weapons pointed at him.

"Technically, personally, neither. I don't care what happens to them much either way. The place is a potential threat though, so I'm here to scope out their strengths and weaknesses, as well as who their friends and foes are and whatever else I can find. Considering I'm authorized to kill any citizens who figure me out, I suppose for the purposes of the conversation the answer would be against. How 'bout you? With or against?"

It was pretty clear what her answer would be, considering he hadn't exactly seen the lot of them roaming freely on the surface, but it was best to get everything out in the open early. Maybe he would achieve his objectives with enough time left over to...experiment. His hips wiggled slightly with excitement.

"You are an odd creature." She said licking her lips, opportunity was on her mind but she wasn't quite sure how useful this was going to be. She lowered her hand from her weapon but the other guards did not. Behind her back she waved a signal of some sort. It was hard to spot, if someone was not aware enough they would miss it.

"So the whispers drew you here for what reason then?" Her forked tongue slid back into her mouth as she observed with a predator like gaze. The other guards seemed like the was slowly creeping forward. A single step to test the waters. Their posture did not recede. But they were not overtly aggressive either.

Sounds could be heard on the other side of the gate door. It sounded like mechanisms starting to be played with. Though it was a slow sort of sound. Whatever it was, it was softer than expected from such a mammoth structure.

Quietly, something began to grind within the stone gates. Perhaps it would soon open to him. The female was probing him, testing. And he liked it. She was as much a predator as he was himself in his untamed days, where he waded across the countryside through oceans of blood. He made his decision - these people were not only his best bet of achieving his mission, but he genuinely wanted to spend more time among them. Something about them resonated with his soul in a way he had not felt in a long, long time. The recognition between predators when territories overlap, but don't necessarily compete.

Slowly, so as not to alarm the guards, he raised a hand to the clasp of his cloak at his neck and released it, causing the apparel to fall away behind him. With his other hand he similarly undid all three of his belts, which impacted somewhat more solidly due to the various items held. All pretenses were dropped now, even the illusion draped about his body in the form of a Fierian mercenary's garb vanished, leaving him standing before them in nothing but his boots and his skin, albeit clearly excited skin.

"Curiosity, meine schatz. That is what brought me deep into your land. Curiosity...and opportunity."

Curiosity kills, and it looked as if all hell was going to break loose. But your soul didn't warn you about anything. The air was tense for a millisecond as it seemed killing intent could have been felt from all in front of Schatzi. But the word opportunity, that word perhaps saved him from a very dangerous situation. Curiosity was not a good reason, but opportunity showed promise of an ally.

The door opened wide and there was a sight to behold. It was a fortress of torture. This was a military outpost for sure. Not a grand sized placed, but impressive in it's functionality for sure. Troops were practicing their trade, prisoners of all shapes and sizes. The gear that this army wore held a duel purpose, to protect and to intimidate as the black sheen and spines of the chest plate dictated their intentions at all times.

The door itself must have had some sort of sound dampening system installed. For the screams of the prisoners can be heard. They didn't keep them in cages, no they were used as practice dummies. Such blood thirst. Many were of this combination of Dragon humanoid, but there was also some stranger breeds as well. Some of the soldiers looked demonic, horns, red skin, claws, it was like out of a book of nightmares. Some were more animistic, like fusing a human and a tiger into one beast. They all seemed like they fit though. This was a place of darkness for sure.

"Please come with me, simply for the sake of opportunity" It was a promise and an invitation for negotiations all at the same time. The lady Draco turned her back as if to say she fears nothing and lead the way. The promise was that of safety, as the guards returned to their duties. Loyalty must be strict around here because no soldier diverted from what they were doing. None looked upon Schatzi, none broke ranks, though the prisoners were of a different matter. Their pleading eyes would ask for mercy and death from this hell...

If Schatzi followed, he would be led to a large chamber. It was dark but nothing that his Know all that is could note pierce. What was hung in the center of this huge chamber was a gigantic round curtain hiding behind it something. The air felt heavy, there was someone important here..."Show utmost respect if you value your life..." said the Draco maiden. She then took the lead and went to her knees. Her hands went to the floor and palms pressed in a diamond pattern as she pressed her forehead against that. She then made her body as close to the ground as possible in a grand display of futility, a glimpse of her rump could be shown peeking.

Schatzi gathered up his containers and re-equipped them as he followed the maiden, though he didn't bother with a fresh glamour of clothing. His head swiveled back and forth as he observed the beautiful monsters that frolicked here. Each scream of agony from their victims set his teeth on edge as it inched him closer and closer to ecstasy. This place was amazing, its inhabitants a previously unknown height of beauty to his eyes, even as others on the surface might find them hideous and terrifying. And yet none were the equal of the woman acting as his escort. With each passing moment his desire, his lust swelled.

"I would ask your name, meine schatz. You are by far the single most captivating being I have ever had the privilege to lay eyes on."

When she bowed before the curtain, in that chamber thick with power, he could not stop himself from staring at her hindquarters, though only for a moment before emulating her posture. Well, as best as possible considering the pulsating sack of blood stretched taut between his legs. He could always revert to an asexual state, removing that particular impediment, but to do so would most likely invite unwanted queries.

"My name is not important, but on your life do not look up at her, keep your eyes down. Said the Draco women. And then the curtains opened up. A naked women stood there standing in front. Her bare skin shown, save for her forehead. The symbol of Iwakagure and a plate, a headband fixed upon her head. She was an Iwagakure Shinobi and she was in chains. A scream, the sound of crunching, a flood of blood and Schatzi could see the crimson just under his nose. The Iwagakure Headband spat out landing in front of this beast.

It was a Dragon, chromatic black like the armour worn by the soldiers. It was an Adult, with the size of a Gargantuan creature. A horned variety, and female to boot. The meal was swallowed down and then it regarded Schatzi... With it's keen intellect and knowledge it could tell through Jutsu Lore that indeed this was a soul split. Through the smell and cultural lore knowledge, this Dragon could tell of the Kedoin blood flowing through the veins. These are spy tactics! "YOU BRING A KEDOIN SPY INTO MY REALM!!!" the Queen of this court bellowed to her underling. The Demi-Draco women's eyes popped open wide as she turned her head to look at Schatzi.

"WHAT!!!" She said in common with a tone and look of pure fear. The half Dragon knew she was marked for death, she shook with that fear. But she did not move, she did not flee. She stayed where she was. "He seeks opportunity form us my Mistress." and that seemed to calm the beast as it regarded Schatzi once again. "Then tell me Kedoin, what do you have to offer me?" said the black dragon in the common language...

Schatzi stared blankly at the goliath before him. He knew it could slaughter him without the remotest effort, and even as but half of a complete soul, he felt true fear in front of it's wroth fir the first time in years. This day was just full of new experiences. Weirdly it didn't kill his arousal, but he had always had incomprehensible tastes. He stood fully then, grabbing the Iwagakure headband and tucking it into his cloak as he did, subtly positioning himself between the dragon and his guide. He was expendable anyway, maybe if he could save the smaller reptile from the larger one's maw he would be rewarded later. Heh. Oh dear god how was he thinking like that now? Probably a way to distract himself from the fear. Yeah screw it why not? He looked the deadly creature directly in the eyes. When he spoke he dropped the Fierian accent. No reason for it any longer.

"Full disclosure, I'm going to talk like normal here, but I'm pretty much scared shitless right now. Angry dragon and all. Not sure what anyone else here is, but you're definitely an angry dragon. First off, you keep using that word like I'm supposed to know what it means. Kedoin. Whatever that is, I don't know it, and I'm fairly certain she didn't either. Secondly, what do you want? I'm easy to work with, tell me what you need and I can see about making that happen. I am getting the impression you guys REALLY don't like Iwagakure though, so whatever they did to piss you off I'd rather not do the same.

"I could offer an attempt at an alliance against Iwa with another surface nation if you like, mine in fact, but your subordinates probably wouldn't approve. They don't seem to like surface-dwellers in general very much. Granted most surface dwellers don't see you for the beauties you are and would try to kill you on sight, so I can see why you might have a problem with them. As impressive as you are though, personally you're a bit big for my tastes. She's more my speed," he quipped with a gesture at his guide.

The Dragon was in a sitting position, or perhaps what you would consider a sitting position for such a creature. She sat like a stone statue as Shatzi boldly stood up and made his statement. If a Dragon could smile, this one was indeed smiling, but what would that look like?

The Dragon detected no lie as there was no lie spoken, but the fact the Kedoin didn't know what a kedoin was, was an interesting situation indeed. The Dragon was lost in thought, no noise could be heard, did Schatzi get away with taking the headband and standing up to the Dragon? Silence...

Five minutes passed as the Dragon didn't move, nor did the it's underling on the ground. And then it spoke, "You have been give two gifts this day. That headband, which I am sure you could make use of, and the word Kedoin. This offer of alliance is tempting, and you must know weather my underlings like it or not is of no concern to me. So what you must do in return for this alliance, to solidify it, is kill my subordinate here. She is weak and a failure...KARISA STAND AND FACE YOUR CHALLENGER!!!" The Dragon yelled.

The half-Dragon women stood up and took a few steps back. With a new sense of resolve she put her scythe into her hands and got into a fighting position. She must have been given a chance to make up for her failure, or at least that is what she is thinking. Thus the gauntlet set...

What a turn of events. He was supposed to kill the most beautiful creature the world had shown him so far. Oh well, that was life. Considering Schatzi's lack of offensive ability and low chakra pool, this would have to be approached with caution. She was no radish.

He reached into his herb pouch and withdrew three doses of saddilia nut, popping them into his mouth. As his chakra swelled back to a reasonable amount, he continued to address the dragon matriarch. "Fair enough," he acquiesced with a shrug. Of course, he intended to revive her after striking the death blow. A fellow predator like her deserved to die with more dignity than he would afford her in this bout.

He would square off with her at a range of fifteen meters if she would allow it, the dragon appearing to sit between them if they were viewed from the side. This should be sufficient distance to begin the process of self-enchanting.

"At your ready, gorgeous."

Description: This rare tree can grow up to 20 meters tall, and can become quite old. It has dark red wood, and equally dark blue leaves. The flowers, which grow in small bunches, are startling white, almost radiant. Its nuts have a very special property; each nut raises the user's chakra levels and increases their movements by 1 (Effects stack up to 3 times). The effect lasts for a 1 day, after which it fades again (minus 1 every days), although there is a 10% chance the effect is permanent. Around the tree there are often animals (squirrels, salmon) who eat the nuts on a regular basis, and are therefore quite nimble, quick, and rumor has it able to possess Chakra techniques. Herb consists 128 doses.
Limit: Must know Herbal Knowledge for Grassland Regions. 1% chance of finding.

With a shunshin she would be nose to nose with Schatzi. Karisa spun like a top holding out her Scythe. The blade could easily catch Schatzi in this position so of course the soul would be screaming of danger. But the women would not stop there...

Should a defense be present Karisa would use her scythe in such a manner where she would cross it up and down while she was within this spin. If Schatzi was caught within this whirlwind, then a huge gash could be present from the top of his shoulder to down across his whole torso. A scythe is a dangerous tool.

Karisa continued by seemingly to dance around Schatzi. Her movements would be that of the next harvest. She could deflect any weapon present and even any ninjutsu type of defense. At this point the blade of the Scythe was glowing with chakra.

And thus the final harvest was underway. Karisa was combining all the previous movements into one whirlwind of an attack. She could maneuver to where her opponent could be at this point and increase the damage. Weapons and Ninjuts would be ineffective as defending tools and she would be mobile...

The user then spins in a circle in close range, causing the target to lose such defensive ninjutsu and sends weapons used to defend away from the target, leaving him open for the other blade. The second attack forces the opponent back and causes severe damage to wherever it hits.

Accelerated movements were invaluable in staying alive. Or at least as alive as is feasible as half a soul, destined to fade away in less than 8 hours anyway. Karisa was extremely fast, and worked her blade well. If not for the initial boost, and the warnings provided by Doom Ward it was probable she would have sliced Schatzi in half straight away. The reaping dance was a sight to behold, and he was caught by the second strike's downward angle after ducking to roll out of the way of the first. Because of the way his cloak disguised the contours of his body, it wasn't a direct hit, but it was still solid.

His tough skin was enough to absorb the brunt of the impact without taking critical damage, but the hit did still knock him five meters away. This was fortunate enough to be well out of range of the furious swings of the third attack, buying him the time to complete a basic string of hand seals. This would be a self-targeting illusion that would affect anyone who saw him, with Karisa being a subject of immediate importance. Based on his earlier experiences she lacked the ability to pierce his illusions, and thus would fall for the impression that he was actually a meter away from his true location. Her wide swings were still a threat, but with luck her shifted aim would be enough to protect him from the incoming storm of blades. It was as if she was repeating each of her earlier moves, but significantly faster.

Not one to stand around and be shredded, Schatzi was already taking evasive maneuvers, scurrying away in a wide arc as needed to increase his chances of not being cut to ribbons, attempting to maintain at least seven meters distance from the rampaging lizardwoman. It wasn't a very honorable tactic, but he was a murderer not a warrior. Using every inch of space he could get, he performed multiple strings of hand seals whenever he could get a safe moment, further blurring his figure to the eyes of all who beheld him before modifying his own brain chemistry to provide critical boons. They were each quite short, and he was very adept at performing them at speed, so there was little chance of being interrupted, but in a melee like this caution was paramount. He would taste her soon, but needed just a bit more setup time.

"Sorry about not fighting fair sweetheart, but you'll kill me easy if I do!" He flirted. Life or death, so to speak, and still he couldn't help but be very much attracted to her. Yeah, she wasn't going to die today. Well, actually she was, she just wouldn't stay dead. Presumably. If the plan held. It might not, given her speed and ferocity. At this point, assuming she hadn't somehow bisected him in the interim, preparations would largely be complete. He might even be able to outpace her, depending on just how much of her speed she had been using so far. Next would come the hard part, much harder than just surviving: winning.

Description: By speeding the actions of the user's soul or a target's soul, the body and mind speeds up as well. By touching the target it speeds up their movements for 3 rounds. Those affected by this technique will have a small blue glow until the technique stops.

Karisa stopped her spinning and stood within her scythe stance. She watched and let what was going on happen. If this man wanted to prepare to die then that is his choice, she was making her own choice about how she wished to die. "Don't be mistaken fool, I am to die, weather it is by your hand or My Mistress. My last wish is only but revenge..." The Dragon laughed at this comment, that extreme loyalty to violence and death.

The genjutsus would effect Karisa as intended since she was a Taijutsu master. The displacement was a good choice, but the blur was not. To notice a genjutsu was going on was not entirely difficult, especially those of that nature. One would never turn invisible in front of someone, it was a dead give away. Thus the blur was a dead give away as Karisa was starting to see this blurred effect.

Karisa spun her Scythe in front of her in a hand over hand motion. There was chakra imbued into the scythe. This kind of chakra burned the bridge of chakra that was being used with genjutsu. It could burn right to the source and take away the use of chakra for one round. Fortunately for Schatzi, he could realize what was going on from the moment it was initiated due to a genjutsu users ability to identify when a Genjutsu was not working. This absolutely being one of those cases.

But unfortunately for Schatzi, Karisa started to run forward as she was performing this blender type motion with her Scythe. If Schatzi were to be hit with the physical side of this attack, surely there will be blood...
