Character Depth
Personality
Cold as the rain is how many people would describe Saruka. Saruka's expressionless dark blue eyes and straight faced scowl Made him appear extremely stolid. His emotionless appearance is his protective facade that allows him to live deep in his own dark ocean. His outer appearance of depression hides his true zealous dreams. Excitement is rare for the older rain member. This is why he is normally avoided by his comrades. This isolation brought him to prefer solitude over companionship. His personal preference to focus on the more important things in life, being tied down would only hinder his progress to becoming one of the ninja trackers that work in conjunction with ANBU. He longs not for power, but for the ability to protect the few that really matter.
Saruka loves creating oddly enough. She enjoys the smell of fresh flowers, ground herbs, and The feel of fresh ice after a cold rain. He also enjoys the sound of the rain which gives him comfort in his times of grief. His reclusive nature gives him peace in solitude. Being alone makes Saruka happy.He also plays the violin for comfort when he feels the need to express emotion. He slowly is searching for something for him to fight for. Though as of now he is only motivated by his younger sister, who died of Influenza at the age of six. He longs to find color in the world. This color, Lhasa yet to be found. He lives blindly in the darkness longing for a light to guide him. Something pure to match and fit is imperfection. He longs for completion where his is incomplete. Though, most of all he wants friends that accept him for who he is.
Saruka is not intrested in things that many other people are. He hates being treated like a child and being put below someone else. He dislikes ignorance and pure stupidity. Common sense is something Saruka uses on a daily basis. He is not currently interested in Women or men. This is a result of not finding value in ether. He is above all a heavy smoker and smokes Fourth of a pack a day to the very least. He is mentally nonchalant overall. He try's to feel nothing in a callous manner, but secretly longs to feel. He wants to find a few people worth knowing, worthy of being called friend. Sadly he has yet to meet any.Their deference of him only leads to more disappointment. He continues to believe that practice is extremely important. He makes up for his lack in team skills by practicing with his Godfather and sensei Kidiogo Ukimoto. He finds that he is one of the few people worth living for.
Appearance
Saruka appears very simple at first. His Dark blue eyes sit between his small pointed nose that rests on his face. He has thin brown eyebrows that match the color of his messy hair. His fingers are hard from all of the times he has used his hands in creating. His face is smooth and always carries the same emotionless scowl. He has a cut along the right side of his face from where an arrow had skimmed his face. His pointed chin sat vertically under his nose.
His face is smooth and is normally splattered with the almost constant rain that covers Ame no Kuni. His constant emotionless glare complements the cold, rain filled village for which he was born in.
His Dark Grey Tactical vest covers his torso. His messenger bag resting in a relaxed fashion on his back. His limber arms are hidden under a long blue button up that he wears as a his own casual attire. He is over all of a very slender form. His Rapier is hung in a relaxed fashion on his left hip. His grey pants carry a wrapping on his right leg designed to hold a knife holster that isn't currently there. His legs were much stronger than his arms. He could run quite a bit more than he could climb. His arms however are not weak. They are wrapped up from all the bruising and damage they Received while he preformed training in Muay Tai. His body's shape over all is one of a thin quick fighter. He once tried to pick up boxing, but never learns it. All he got from the experience was a broken nose, and a black eye. The damage done to his nose can still be detected under extreme scrutiny, however it really is my a physical detail of importance.
His feet are covered by a black pair of shoes. They cover his very gnarled feet. The top of his foot is covered in ragged scars from his many attempts at climbing. The bottom of his feet are Callous from all the walking he had done in his life time. The sole of his right foot is burnt, due to the fact that he stomped out a cigar with out his shoes once. His toes are all that can be seen outside of his shoes. His balance is completely based on how well managed his toes are. This makes him light on his feet, and wears thought the front of his shoes faster than that of the back part. His elbows, knees, feet, and hands are all calloused due to his intense Muay Tai training. Over time he will probably grow a little beard on his face as he becomes a bit older. His future appearance though unknown will be revealed as he comes of more age.
Background
What many people don't realize is that people were not born to be depressed. In fact the whole concept is quite the opposite. Saruka was born a very happy child in the rainy month of April. His Mother Tekina Saro and his father raised him in a fairly normal atmosphere. He learned how to walk at talk like any other child. At the age of four he could not have been happier. His little life-span up to that point had been happy. That all changed a few months after his birthday. His father was killed in combat that same year. The whole event was traumatic for him and his mother. He now felt sorrow for the loss of his father that he would carry for the rest of his life.
His mother was never the same after her husband had died. She was robotic and unfeeling. She gave no indication that she cared for anything at all. Saruka could hear her crying in the middle of every night. She eventually became unfeeling and cold. She would hit Saruka without any thought or remorse. Eventually beatings became a common place thing. When he was old enough to go the the academy, he would wear long sleeve shirts to hid the bruises. At the age of 8 he began to play the violin. It was his only true friend. Music never betrayed the musician. It was only brutally honest, allowing the player to see into themselves as they never could on their own. Music for Saruka was his only true friend.
After he graduated from the academy his mother fell ill. He stayed with her the inter duration of her ill that eventually took her life. He didn't resent his mother as much as he really wanted to. He wanted to know how much suffering she had put him through. The agony of being alone in a world filled with people. With all of the time he spent at the hospital he began to pick up a few of the techniques they used their. The nurses were friendly and encouraged Saruka into the field of medicine. He eventually began to feel small tingles of caring whenever someone needed help. His eventually became someone worthy of the medical field. The stress continued to build. Eventually he picked up smoking which in his mind is not as important as other might think. He is trying to find things that define him.

Effect: A semi-circular punch thrown with the lead hand or rear hand to the side of the opponent's head or to the opponents ribs.

Description: Picture The Boxer throws the Transversely punch from right to left to the opponent's jaw or ribs. An attack from peripheral vision. If the opponent does not have the right hand up by the chin, its light's out. Cracking the jaw, the head is twisted; the brain becomes disconnected from the body, which falls like load of potatoes. The the rear hand is tight, hand against the rear side of the chin. It begins with the hips solidified by the lead foot that bears 90% of the weight. The torso torques, the elbow lifts, the forearm makes a right angle with the lead arm, the palm is facing the mat, the chin is tucked by the lead shoulder, the rear hand against the rear chin. This attack is practiced 10,000 times under watchful eye. Throwing a lead hook the proper way is one of the hardest things for a beginning fighter to do. It is not a natural motion that is used in everyday life. Best to use the whole entire body when throwing. This trick is used for attack, defense, or escape.
Variation: Lead Hook To The Head - Hands up. Elbows in. Chin down. Forward bob position immediately after a cross. Shift the weight onto the back foot as the user turns out the lead heel. This will telegraph the blow. Lead shoulder and lead hip turn in virtual unison as the weight is shifting onto the rear leg. Tight fist. There is no Wrist in a hook. Lock the wrist, lining up the fist with the forearm. Throw the hook in a tight arc. The range of the hook -- how far away the target is -- determines whether to use a horizontal or vertical fist. The rule is as follows: if the target is outside the elbow range, then use a vertical fist. Inside elbow range, then horizontal fist is all right. Do not confuse the two, though, for if user throws a hook with a horizontal fist outside the elbow range, user will break the pinky and ring finger knuckles and/or the pinky carpal at the wrist.
Lead Hook To The Liver - There is nothing that slows down the opponent quicker than a well placed body punch. A lead hook to the body is one of the easiest ways to stop and opponent in their tracks. The liver is one of the largest vital organs and its effect is sickening, as it shocks the liver, the largest gland organ, and causes the victim to lose much of his fighting 'drive', and causes the air to escape his body.

Description: User forms a few handseals and calls forth any remaining smoke that may be around then into a concentrated area to use for other techniques. When the user first learns this technique they are able to call smoke within the distance of 10 meters radius. When the user learns the "C" rank version of this technique the distance increases to 20 meters radius. When the user learns the "B" rank version of this technique the distance increases to 40 meters radius. When the user learns the "A" rank version of this technique the distance increases to 80 meters radius. When the user learns the "S" rank version of this technique the distance increases to 160 meters radius.

3.Prapai Lom Singkorn (Straight Punch)

Effect: A powerful, straight punch thrown with the rear hand.

Description: Picture The Boxer Throws the straight right punch and twists the body by that punch, stepping with the right foot forward. The Boxer must consider about the distance between him and the opponent. The target is the chin or the heart of the opponent. This trick is used for attack, defense, or escape. If used for attack use both left and right alternately. The Straight Punch is one of the heaviest punches in all of Muay Thai. It can be used in attack and defense. If used properly it can stop your opponent right in his tracks. However if used at the wrong moment it may put the boxer in a difficult situation because if the punch misses the target the boxer will have wasted a lot of energy and will be left exposed to a counter attack. The strength of this punch comes from moving the foot forward and from the transfer of force from the leg to the moving body and finally to the fist. To further enhance the power in his punch the boxer must twist his hips, waist, and shoulder while punching. The result is a very powerful blow that draws upon the boxer's weight, the muscles of the feet, legs, hips, waist, and shoulders, and the proper technique in releasing the punch for its forcefulness.
Variation: Full Body Straight Punch - This straight punch uses the force of gravity thrown in the perpendicular plane. The boxer throws himself forward and the momentum of his falling body is added to the punch making it very powerful. To practice this punch, start by standing at ease with guards up. Then move either foot forward and use the rear leg to push the body forward, similar to falling forward towards the target. The momentum from this movement transferred to the arm and fist, giving the punch its characteristic power. When connecting against the opponent's torso area will stun the opponent for 2 movements.
Variation: Over the Shoulder Straight Punch - This punch is released by a sudden jerking and twisting of the body. It derives its power solely from the muscles and is less powerful than the other versions of the straight punch. It is best used in close fights and emergencies. When the punch is thrown with the left hand, the right hand is automatically jerked backwards. As a result, the muscles of the shoulder, back, stomach, waist, and the two legs will work together transferring the weight from one side of the body to the other. This twist of the body prepares one for an over the shoulder punch with the right hand. This twist should be practiced so that one is comfortable throwing the over the shoulder punch using the twist of the body and the corresponding transfer of body weight as the source of the punch's power. This technique hits as a "B" Rank technique instead of the basic "C" Rank.
To Protect: Brushes it with the fist or the arm which in the front, if the opponent boxer is a right handed fighter, the user will use the left fist or the left arm to swipe the punch out to the left side. (If user knows The Cross/The Straight in Boxing, or Cross-Body Punch in Krav Maga the user does not have to learn the base Technique.)

Description: Picture The leading foot should be pointed straight, while the other is positioned to angle at ninety degrees whilst raising the heel of the back foot. Both the knees and the body are straight, designed to create posture. Arch the back backwards slightly. This allows power to be generated for the legs. The chin must remain in the same posture as the shoulders; in essence, this means that the user must lower their chin to be level with the shoulders, while raising the shoulders and the arms for guarding purposes. The next step is to grasp the hands, keeping them raised to face level, crafting a guard with the forearms to allow defending against oncoming attacks. The eyes are straight forward, locking onto the opponent's abdomen for full view of oncoming strikes against the upper or lower body.

Character Depth
Personality
Cold as the rain is how many people would describe Saruka. Saruka's expressionless dark blue eyes and straight faced scowl Made him appear extremely stolid. His emotionless appearance is his protective facade that allows him to live deep in his own dark ocean. His outer appearance of depression hides his true zealous dreams. Excitement is rare for the older rain member. This is why he is normally avoided by his comrades. This isolation brought him to prefer solitude over companionship. His personal preference to focus on the more important things in life, being tied down would only hinder his progress to becoming one of the ninja trackers that work in conjunction with ANBU. He longs not for power, but for the ability to protect the few that really matter.
Saruka loves creating oddly enough. She enjoys the smell of fresh flowers, ground herbs, and The feel of fresh ice after a cold rain. He also enjoys the sound of the rain which gives him comfort in his times of grief. His reclusive nature gives him peace in solitude. Being alone makes Saruka happy.He also plays the violin for comfort when he feels the need to express emotion. He slowly is searching for something for him to fight for. Though as of now he is only motivated by his younger sister, who died of Influenza at the age of six. He longs to find color in the world. This color, Lhasa yet to be found. He lives blindly in the darkness longing for a light to guide him. Something pure to match and fit is imperfection. He longs for completion where his is incomplete. Though, most of all he wants friends that accept him for who he is.
Saruka is not intrested in things that many other people are. He hates being treated like a child and being put below someone else. He dislikes ignorance and pure stupidity. Common sense is something Saruka uses on a daily basis. He is not currently interested in Women or men. This is a result of not finding value in ether. He is above all a heavy smoker and smokes Fourth of a pack a day to the very least. He is mentally nonchalant overall. He try's to feel nothing in a callous manner, but secretly longs to feel. He wants to find a few people worth knowing, worthy of being called friend. Sadly he has yet to meet any.Their deference of him only leads to more disappointment. He continues to believe that practice is extremely important. He makes up for his lack in team skills by practicing with his Godfather and sensei Kidiogo Ukimoto. He finds that he is one of the few people worth living for.
Appearance
Saruka appears very simple at first. His Dark blue eyes sit between his small pointed nose that rests on his face. He has thin brown eyebrows that match the color of his messy hair. His fingers are hard from all of the times he has used his hands in creating. His face is smooth and always carries the same emotionless scowl. He has a cut along the right side of his face from where an arrow had skimmed his face. His pointed chin sat vertically under his nose.
His face is smooth and is normally splattered with the almost constant rain that covers Ame no Kuni. His constant emotionless glare complements the cold, rain filled village for which he was born in.
His Dark Grey Tactical vest covers his torso. His messenger bag resting in a relaxed fashion on his back. His limber arms are hidden under a long blue button up that he wears as a his own casual attire. He is over all of a very slender form. His Rapier is hung in a relaxed fashion on his left hip. His grey pants carry a wrapping on his right leg designed to hold a knife holster that isn't currently there. His legs were much stronger than his arms. He could run quite a bit more than he could climb. His arms however are not weak. They are wrapped up from all the bruising and damage they Received while he preformed training in Muay Tai. His body's shape over all is one of a thin quick fighter. He once tried to pick up boxing, but never learns it. All he got from the experience was a broken nose, and a black eye. The damage done to his nose can still be detected under extreme scrutiny, however it really is my a physical detail of importance.
His feet are covered by a black pair of shoes. They cover his very gnarled feet. The top of his foot is covered in ragged scars from his many attempts at climbing. The bottom of his feet are Callous from all the walking he had done in his life time. The sole of his right foot is burnt, due to the fact that he stomped out a cigar with out his shoes once. His toes are all that can be seen outside of his shoes. His balance is completely based on how well managed his toes are. This makes him light on his feet, and wears thought the front of his shoes faster than that of the back part. His elbows, knees, feet, and hands are all calloused due to his intense Muay Tai training. Over time he will probably grow a little beard on his face as he becomes a bit older. His future appearance though unknown will be revealed as he comes of more age.
Background
What many people don't realize is that people were not born to be depressed. In fact the whole concept is quite the opposite. Saruka was born a very happy child in the rainy month of April. His Mother Tekina Saro and his father raised him in a fairly normal atmosphere. He learned how to walk at talk like any other child. At the age of four he could not have been happier. His little life-span up to that point had been happy. That all changed a few months after his birthday. His father was killed in combat that same year. The whole event was traumatic for him and his mother. He now felt sorrow for the loss of his father that he would carry for the rest of his life.
His mother was never the same after her husband had died. She was robotic and unfeeling. She gave no indication that she cared for anything at all. Saruka could hear her crying in the middle of every night. She eventually became unfeeling and cold. She would hit Saruka without any thought or remorse. Eventually beatings became a common place thing. When he was old enough to go the the academy, he would wear long sleeve shirts to hid the bruises. At the age of 8 he began to play the violin. It was his only true friend. Music never betrayed the musician. It was only brutally honest, allowing the player to see into themselves as they never could on their own. Music for Saruka was his only true friend.
After he graduated from the academy his mother fell ill. He stayed with her the inter duration of her ill that eventually took her life. He didn't resent his mother as much as he really wanted to. He wanted to know how much suffering she had put him through. The agony of being alone in a world filled with people. With all of the time he spent at the hospital he began to pick up a few of the techniques they used their. The nurses were friendly and encouraged Saruka into the field of medicine. He eventually began to feel small tingles of caring whenever someone needed help. His eventually became someone worthy of the medical field. The stress continued to build. Eventually he picked up smoking which in his mind is not as important as other might think. He is trying to find things that define him.

Effect: A semi-circular punch thrown with the lead hand or rear hand to the side of the opponent's head or to the opponents ribs.

Description: Picture The Boxer throws the Transversely punch from right to left to the opponent's jaw or ribs. An attack from peripheral vision. If the opponent does not have the right hand up by the chin, its light's out. Cracking the jaw, the head is twisted; the brain becomes disconnected from the body, which falls like load of potatoes. The the rear hand is tight, hand against the rear side of the chin. It begins with the hips solidified by the lead foot that bears 90% of the weight. The torso torques, the elbow lifts, the forearm makes a right angle with the lead arm, the palm is facing the mat, the chin is tucked by the lead shoulder, the rear hand against the rear chin. This attack is practiced 10,000 times under watchful eye. Throwing a lead hook the proper way is one of the hardest things for a beginning fighter to do. It is not a natural motion that is used in everyday life. Best to use the whole entire body when throwing. This trick is used for attack, defense, or escape.
Variation: Lead Hook To The Head - Hands up. Elbows in. Chin down. Forward bob position immediately after a cross. Shift the weight onto the back foot as the user turns out the lead heel. This will telegraph the blow. Lead shoulder and lead hip turn in virtual unison as the weight is shifting onto the rear leg. Tight fist. There is no Wrist in a hook. Lock the wrist, lining up the fist with the forearm. Throw the hook in a tight arc. The range of the hook -- how far away the target is -- determines whether to use a horizontal or vertical fist. The rule is as follows: if the target is outside the elbow range, then use a vertical fist. Inside elbow range, then horizontal fist is all right. Do not confuse the two, though, for if user throws a hook with a horizontal fist outside the elbow range, user will break the pinky and ring finger knuckles and/or the pinky carpal at the wrist.
Lead Hook To The Liver - There is nothing that slows down the opponent quicker than a well placed body punch. A lead hook to the body is one of the easiest ways to stop and opponent in their tracks. The liver is one of the largest vital organs and its effect is sickening, as it shocks the liver, the largest gland organ, and causes the victim to lose much of his fighting 'drive', and causes the air to escape his body.
To Protect Wipe the left hand back. (If user knows the The Hook in Boxing, or Hook Punch in Krav Maga the user does not have to learn this Technique.)

Description: User forms a few handseals and calls forth any remaining smoke that may be around then into a concentrated area to use for other techniques. When the user first learns this technique they are able to call smoke within the distance of 10 meters radius. When the user learns the "C" rank version of this technique the distance increases to 20 meters radius. When the user learns the "B" rank version of this technique the distance increases to 40 meters radius. When the user learns the "A" rank version of this technique the distance increases to 80 meters radius. When the user learns the "S" rank version of this technique the distance increases to 160 meters radius.

3.Prapai Lom Singkorn (Straight Punch)

Effect: A powerful, straight punch thrown with the rear hand.

Description: Picture The Boxer Throws the straight right punch and twists the body by that punch, stepping with the right foot forward. The Boxer must consider about the distance between him and the opponent. The target is the chin or the heart of the opponent. This trick is used for attack, defense, or escape. If used for attack use both left and right alternately. The Straight Punch is one of the heaviest punches in all of Muay Thai. It can be used in attack and defense. If used properly it can stop your opponent right in his tracks. However if used at the wrong moment it may put the boxer in a difficult situation because if the punch misses the target the boxer will have wasted a lot of energy and will be left exposed to a counter attack. The strength of this punch comes from moving the foot forward and from the transfer of force from the leg to the moving body and finally to the fist. To further enhance the power in his punch the boxer must twist his hips, waist, and shoulder while punching. The result is a very powerful blow that draws upon the boxer's weight, the muscles of the feet, legs, hips, waist, and shoulders, and the proper technique in releasing the punch for its forcefulness.
Variation: Full Body Straight Punch - This straight punch uses the force of gravity thrown in the perpendicular plane. The boxer throws himself forward and the momentum of his falling body is added to the punch making it very powerful. To practice this punch, start by standing at ease with guards up. Then move either foot forward and use the rear leg to push the body forward, similar to falling forward towards the target. The momentum from this movement transferred to the arm and fist, giving the punch its characteristic power. When connecting against the opponent's torso area will stun the opponent for 2 movements.
Variation: Over the Shoulder Straight Punch - This punch is released by a sudden jerking and twisting of the body. It derives its power solely from the muscles and is less powerful than the other versions of the straight punch. It is best used in close fights and emergencies. When the punch is thrown with the left hand, the right hand is automatically jerked backwards. As a result, the muscles of the shoulder, back, stomach, waist, and the two legs will work together transferring the weight from one side of the body to the other. This twist of the body prepares one for an over the shoulder punch with the right hand. This twist should be practiced so that one is comfortable throwing the over the shoulder punch using the twist of the body and the corresponding transfer of body weight as the source of the punch's power. This technique hits as a "B" Rank technique instead of the basic "C" Rank.
To Protect: Brushes it with the fist or the arm which in the front, if the opponent boxer is a right handed fighter, the user will use the left fist or the left arm to swipe the punch out to the left side. (If user knows The Cross/The Straight in Boxing, or Cross-Body Punch in Krav Maga the user does not have to learn the base Technique.)

At "C" Rank the lightning is able to cause first degree burns and numbness to the affected area, and reach a maximum range of 10 meters.

Description: Begin with the feet in a 90° comfortably separated at about half a shoulder's width apart. Center the weight on the rear leg. When throwing the user shifts their weight to the front. This causes the hips and shoulders to twist into the throw forcing the body's power into the throwing arm. After the throw is complete recover by returning to the original stance to ready the next throw.

Effect: The basic posture of the Muay Thai Style. The basic posture needed in order to move on into the more advanced techniques of the Muay Thai style. The Jod Muay is the basic step of defending but Muay is the martial art that uses the eight limbs, two hands, two shins, two knees, and two elbows to fight the opponent.

Description: Picture The leading foot should be pointed straight, while the other is positioned to angle at ninety degrees whilst raising the heel of the back foot. Both the knees and the body are straight, designed to create posture. Arch the back backwards slightly. This allows power to be generated for the legs. The chin must remain in the same posture as the shoulders; in essence, this means that the user must lower their chin to be level with the shoulders, while raising the shoulders and the arms for guarding purposes. The next step is to grasp the hands, keeping them raised to face level, crafting a guard with the forearms to allow defending against oncoming attacks. The eyes are straight forward, locking onto the opponent's abdomen for full view of oncoming strikes against the upper or lower body.
