The land of Iwagakure. The land of hidden stone was bright today, and brimming with it's villager's tending their buisness. ON one part of town at a local compound was a Young lad training in the courtyard of the establishment. Other's where around, some with their wing's spread, showing they where of the Tsubasa clan. That was the compound's claim: To represent and train Tsubasa clan perspectives within the hidden stone. Off to one open side of the wide courtyard of mostly dirt and a few tree's with many bird's resting in the branches; would be Shin. He would be making some hand signs slowly while staring into the air at the training ground's inhabitants.
He was sitting on a small rock, and when done with his signs he would start looking at the tree's around him where the bird's chirped in the height's. He stared at them with lazy eye's as if trying to see into the bird's mind's. He was testing something in truth, though one couldn't really tell from looking afar. As he sat there he would seem to whistle something softly. It was a patient whistle, something he did without aggression or much force. It was soft, almost inaudible, and the sync was out of rhythm. He continued to study the bird's looking from one tree to another, just patiently whistling here and there.
After a long 40 or so minutes there was a noticeable change in the area around Shin. It seemed as if a few five or so birds had flown from the tree branches and made there way down to the ground around where he was sitting. He turned his attention to them and smiled softly in the bright sun ray's. It was evident that he was practicing bird calling. A very basic yet fundamental part of the clan. It was a technique that seemed to label the art of the Tsubasa outside of their famed wing growth technique.
He reached into his pocket and produced some seed in his hand. With a casual flick of the wrist he spred some for the bird's to chase after. He watched them for a moment; watching them contend for the sparse grain on the ground, and then he turned his eye to the tree's again. He whistled again watching absently for signs of cooperation from the bird's. They chirped louder in a mass then before as if they where all paying attention to this little kid giving free food. A few more fluttered their wing's but didn't leave the tree's.
Shin stopped whistling and looked at the bird's on the ground again. They had gathered all the seed into their bellies and now where walking close around the rock Shin sat on. He whistled to them and watched their beaks react accordingly. He had found his way into their hearts and they where comfortable around him it seemed. They shirped and fluttered around him seeming to create a strange veil of flapping wing's. This behavior was definitely outside of normal bird behavior. With another few whistles and some more spread seed, Shin seemed to get five more bird's to come out to the ground from the tree's.
On the ground they would peck quickly at all the seed causing Shin to smile and spred more before they ate it all up! He stood up on the rock and reach deep into his pocket's to grab all the seed and tossed it all into the air with a wide smile. The bird's went into a frenzy all of them trying to get as much as they could. He saw that some seed fell outside of their attention's and he waved a hand towards those places and watched pair's of 2 run in those directions as if they where following his very instructions. Shin smiled and found this technique to be very useful indeed.
