Character Approval Wait time

Complaint:
My character has been in approval limbo for a few days now, with the last approval being made by Isley 4 days ago. While i understand staff had been going through a thing at the time following, the character had been up long enough before that incident to get approved. Im not calling anyone out here, or trying to get any one in trouble. But having to wait for a Mod to approve a recreate when there are assistants who are just as qualified to make that approval and are not as busy as the mods are doesnt make much sense. The last time i tried to make a character on here it was quite some time before a staff member even noticed the character was there to post in it, and by then i had given up on rping here.
Solution: this is two part so ill split them up.
solution A: Allow assistants to approve recreates just as mod can.
Solution B: Have staff dedicated to checking character approvals so that more important things can be focused on by other staff.
