Description: This skill helps a character know the goings-on in the world around them. They try to keep informed of all the latest developments in any region. The information obtained is always publicly available knowledge and never secret or classified information. With a successful Current Affairs skill check, the character successfully asks questions and learns information about the local area. On a failed check, people either don’t know or refuse to answer the character’s nosey questions. Unskilled characters have access to local rumors as would be expected.
