Doton: Rikujou Douyou no Jutsu (Earth: Ground Shaking Technique)
Rank: "D" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The user slams their hands against the ground as the user creates a miniature like earthquake in order to try and unbalance the enemy or opponents all around for a more of a deadly like attack.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: The user's hands must stay upon the ground at all time. When the user is capable of reaching "A" Class the knowledge of placing their hands onto the very ground becomes obsolete, and the user is capable of performing the technique without having their hands along the ground.
Description: As the user slams their hands against the ground, the user is capable of creating a miniature like earthquake along the ground. The ground rumbles lightly as the very earth moves in all directions in a ten-meter radius. Every time the user gains ranking in difficulty class the distance of the technique increases by ten meters.
Limit: Needs the Earth Release.

The sun was high in the sky, almost sitting directly above Kimarin as he stood in the middle of the training ground. The area was somewhat scarce, only a few trees bordered it, neatly tucked away protruding from the mountain side that seemed to surround the grounds. In the center of the area were three rather large wood posts that have noticeably been used for kuni target practice, and the smell of steamed vegetables and beef filled the air. "Now I'm hungry." he thought looking in the direction of the restaurant that was seemingly close.

Kimarin quickly removed his sword that was tightly placed to his back and leaned it on one of the wood posts. Leaving his vest on was part of the training, the weight of the 6 kuni, and 60 shuriken in the pouches on his vest forced him to get used to it. His sword he will not always going to have, and he tends to carry it everywhere, adding or removing it didn't seem to faze him much anymore; yet he still enjoyed the little freedom of movement taking it off gave him.

"Its time." He thought. He walked about five yards from where he sat his sword and looked back toward it. "Lets see if I can move it by the end of the day." With that thought he began to focus his chakra to his hands. He knew that the idea was to perform the necessary handseals, place his hands to the ground, disperse his chakra throughout the area, and to create earthquake like vibrations. The handseals where preformed haphazardly, having to think of what specific ones from memory wasn't the best way to go about it, but at the moment he had no other choice. When he slammed his hands to the ground and forced his chakra outward he could only feel it go but a few inches. It made the ground soft to the touch, but it wasn't what he was going for. "Maybe a little more difficult than I thought." He said as he stood up again.

He was quick to try again. Putting his hands together and attempting another time for the handseals. He rehearsed them in his head, then began, still having to think hard about it threw his concentration off. When it came to hitting the ground all he could feel was the nice soft soil that he created the time before. "Maybe if I slowly slam my hands to the ground." He thought. "That way I can take my time, not use so much energy, and hopefully stop looking like a monkey." He smiled as he stood again.

This time the seals where done without too much of a hassle. Taking his time helped, before, he noticed, he was rushing and trying to hit the ground. Smooth thoughts made the transition from the seals, to the ground much easier. His hands touching the soil gave him the ability to push his chakra to almost three feet around him, but no tremor was felt yet. "Maybe when I can get my chakra further out, it will make the vibrations come easier." He thought as he knelt there. His hands still on the ground he practiced pushing his chakra through the area. He could feel as his hand became warm and pulsate with blood. The focusing of mind, like waves from the ocean, his chakra slowly pushed out as if water against sand. Soon he could almost feel the area around him. It was at least five feet, and a few inches every time he tried to get farther.

Kimarin's knees cracked as he stood. Sweat began to bead on his forehead and face, one drop even made its way down his cheek and over his tattoo. He whipped his brow and looked to the sun. Only a an hour or so passed and he can already feel the lose of chakra. This wasn't about to stop him. He placed his hands together for another attempt.

His hands moved faster, and more precise this time. The thought that he might be getting this down flickered in his mind, trying not to focus on it. He dropped down and placed his hand to the ground, thinking of the ocean, "my chakra is a wave" He thought as it moved out from his body with ease. Pushing seven feet and a few inches, and finally the ground shook. It was only a moment, maybe three or four seconds, but he was making progress non the less.

A smile appeared on his face. Sweat was still there, but he was starting to like it, a sign of hard work. "Lets see if I can get it this time." He thought placing his hands together once more. Preforming the necessary handseals, then quickly, but not rushing, went to a knee and forced his hands to the ground. His chakra flowed even smoother than before, almost not even having to think about it, it was about ten to fifteen feet out, and the tremor lasted for a good twenty seconds. "Now to just get better at spreading my chakra across the ground. Thirty feet should be a good distance."

By this time he noticed that his sword still hasn't moved. The Hilt was leaning neatly against the post, almost mocking him. He smiled, as the thoughts of achievement rang in his head. The handseals were easy now, they still had room for improvement, but have come a long way. His hands touched the ground and suddenly the earth began to shake underneath him. His chakra was at an easy twenty feet, twenty five feet out and the ground quaked for thirty seconds. Kimarin's eyes were glued to the sword hilt. He seen it move, but not yet enough to shake up off the post.

"One more time should do it." He said, then began again. Handseals, kneeling, forcing palms, pushing chakra. His hands moved all together, as if the fingers were dancing. His now dirty palms touched to ground and it shook tremendously in a ten meter diameter around Kimarin. The sword hilt bounced and banged against the hard wood post, then finally hitting the now soft ground beneath it, almost creating a puff of smoke as it landed. 

"About that time now isn't it." He thought. The sun was getting to the point of dinner time. Knowing that Ikimari was waiting for him back at his friends house. Something about "one on one dog time". Whatever that meant. He never seemed to complain about not having dog friends to Kimarin. But non the less it was time to go. He stood up and walked over to his sword. The ground made little puffs of dust as he walked, the constant chakra flow made a noticeable effect. He grabbed his sword by the handle and placed the sheath on his shoulder and began to walk away. "Maybe I'll pick up some food on the way back..." He thought.

Effect: The user creates a Halo made out of chakra near their body.
Special: ---
Drawback: These halo have no effect on the world unless jutsu are used with them. The bright glow makes stealth hard if not impossible.
Description: The user creates a bright glowing Halo made out of chakra with a diameter of 100 centimeter near their body. The colour of the glow can be altered by the user. Per time learned, one is capable of creating another Halo. When first created, a Halo will appear within a meter from the user, and from then on tend to swirl about behind their back unless they are used. The user can move these Halo through the air as they please as long as they are within eyesight.
Limit: Clan jutsu.

Far across the field Jericho stood withing the shade of a tree, his stock stillness much less to be stoic and more to keep cool and not use too much energy. All the while his eyes remained transfixed upon the boy in the distance, watching every step, every move of his limbs, and though he carried a sword the priest could only imagine it all being one fluid flow of chakra. He knew well of chakra circulation and the nature they could be shifted into but it was rare he ever went out to see it in motion any longer, becoming more and more the hermit he'd always originally become too long ago a time. Here the sun stripped away ones comfort and left them bare to the elements, to test their true grit.

Regardless of the outcome of the jutsu the young man performed Jericho balanced his inner chi, synched himself with his thoughts, the beat of his heart, every hot gust that whipped the training ground and still he was a rock, unmoving. With it his chakra brimmed brightly, his blood so absolutely rich with the mystical energy it was easy to project it out into the world of physical beings. It flowed like a funnel of sorts, forming an oval shape that wavered slightly before solidifying into a solid halo. It floated directly in front of him and began a low descent to his feet.

Focusing on it's composition he fly the discus towards the young man and stopped mid air, chuckling "You must be a new recruit from the village, I do always enjoy budding new talent." A careful step and he was back upon the ground "Do you mind if I observe your training?"

Doton: Tamaishi Danmaku (Earth Element: Pebble Barrage)
Rank: "D" Rank
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A simple technique used as a distraction in which the user uses a few hand seals concentrating along the chakra towards the ground. Doing so, the user takes the chakra and the rocks to push forth sending multiple small grape sized like pebbles towards the opponent.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: The amount of pebbles depends on the rank of the user.
Description: Small like stones are created along the ground in pebble form as they are pushed up along the ground and sent flying towards the very enemy or enemies depending on the type of distance the enemy or where the enemy is standing. This type of attack is somewhat of a basic like attack and is to be considered more of an annoyance or distraction.
Limit: Needs the Earth Release.

A smile. The thought of food lingered in Kimarin's mind as he walked away, his sword neatly against his shoulder. "Huh?", he almost sighed looking back toward the man. "Oh, Well..." He began to rub head for a moment with his other hand. The thought of dinner was ever so present, but he almost couldn't resist the urge to show off what he could do. Ikimari would have to wait just a little longer. After all there was still a few hours before dark. "Sure." He smiled.

He walked over and decided to move on and attempt another jutsu. In his head he came to the conclusion the next one should be easy, he was already good at dispersing his chakra, now he just had to form something new. "You can watch my first attempt at the, "Pebble Barrage" Technique." He said as he set his sword down where it was before. Little clouds still puffed from the ground as he walked. Then he quickly went into focus and faced toward the mountainous wall. 

Handseals where the hardest part, and the part he didn't really enjoy learning. He stumbled through them. Then slamming his hands to the ground his chakra quickly dispersed, forming small pebbles out of the hard minerals beneath they rushed to the surface, but didn't leave the ground in a hurry. In-fact, they didn't at all. He looked at the other man with a smile. "So, what your name? Why the interest in watching me?"

He turned to try again. Full well listing to everything the other man had to say. Knowing that all he had to do was add a little more force behind the pebbles and he should be good. He swiftly preformed the handseals, then slammed his palms against the ground. His chakra moved like a knife through butter, and forming the small stones was even easier than before. Giving him the added focus to push them up harder. This time the rocks flung from the ground in the direction of the mountain, each hitting the side and tumbling quickly to the floor.

The technique was getting better but could definitely use some work. Kimarin smiled at the challenge. He clapped his hands together and stood up tall. With his eyes closed, he began to focus the chakra into them. Preforming the necessary handseals quickly made him more confident in the jutsu itself. Then slamming his hands to the ground his energy spread. Creating small pebbles out of the thick stone beneath him they darted to the surface, but instead of stopping or slowing down when breaking through the floor, they rushed out and pierced against the mountainous wall ahead of him, each one creating a small puff of smoke as it hit.

"Well, that was better." He said, but knew that it was still lacking a bit of force. He decided to try again, this time, he wanted to make sure there is nothing left of the pebbles, that they all shatter upon impact. It was going to be something difficult to achieve, after all it is a technique more for annoyance than anything else. Yet, to him it was worth a shot.

His fingers danced together, completing the seals like nothing now. He didn't close his eyes for focus this time, instead, he pictured an enemy a few yards in front of him. He liked to try and simulate combat if at all possible, making real life situations less of an obstetrical and more of something to just eliminate. The palms of his hands pushed against the ground, shooting his chakra outward and molding small stones from the hard earth. They quickly burst out of the ground and shot toward the mountain. Puffs of smoke erupted as each rock made its mark and shattered, yet some still fell to the ground, bouncing away.

Doton Senbon Soushi no Jutsu (Earth Senbon Creation Technique)
Rank: "D" "D" "D" "D" "C" "B"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates Senbon out of the earth and fires them at the opponent.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: Must be learned more and more in order to be capable of performing better, and capable of producing more Senbon. Cannot be used on Sand.
Description: Forming the hand seals, the User begins to use the Earth Creation Technique to form Senbon in the ground wherever they choose. These Senbon can then fire from the ground at the same speed and strength as if someone had thrown it. These earthen Senbon are shaped like those that are sold in stores and are just as sharp. At D rank, this jutsu forms five Senbon wherever the caster wants. This can be five in different spots, or five all together. The D rank can be learned 4 times for 20 Senbon. Then this jutsu can be learned C rank for 10 more and then B rank for 20 more. Fifty Senbon (after learning 4 D, 1 C, and 1 B rank Jutsu) can be fired from all around the opponent, aimed wherever the caster chooses.
Limit: Earth Release.

Sweat began to bead on Kimarin's brow once again. He could noticeably feel the lack of chakra in his body now, but that doesn't mean its time to go home. He brushed his ponytail off his shoulders as he stood up. A moment a go he was hunched over in a tripod position, watching the drops of liquid hit the ground, making little puffs when the landed. He quickly caught his breath and started to attempt his next jutsu, it was similar to the one he just learned, then he would be on his way home.

This time he decided to focus chakra to this feet and see if he can disperse it just as well. His hands have been getting slammed to the ground over and over, small blisters have been formed, so staying away from more slamming would be preferred. He still put them together and began working on the the next set of handseals. They fumbled now and again, but he was starting to get used to learning them from memory. The hard part was order.

Once completed his chakra rushed into the ground. It spread to about three feet in front of him and using the same technique from the pebble barrage this time his chakra formed five long pointed senbon, and darted them toward the surface. Three of them left with no trouble but the others stuck in the ground, just pointed out like little spikes. Loud sharp noises could be heard as the stone senbon hit the mountain side, each of them hitting, then falling back to the earth.

The second attempt was more successful. The handseals began to flow together a little more, his chakra formed five senbon out of stone, all he had to work on was pushing them up and out of the surface of the ground. Not to mention aiming them. As he focused only four left the ground, not all going in the same direction either. Two went to the right, one went to toward the mountain, and another to the right. "Lucky there isn't many people around." Kimarin thought has he put his hands together again.

Through out the day he focused hard on forming the senbon and even harder on pushing them to the surface. He wanted to learn just one more technique before going home. The aim had much to be desired. He could hit the broad side of a barn, but not a moving opponent at this point. Every time he tried the senbon would come up twisted, or they would fly in the total wrong direction.

"A couple more tries." Kimarin panted. Sweat was a stead flow now and he didn't have much chakra left. He stood up strait, pushing through the pain in his lower back and knees. Placed his hands with palms touching, a fluid motion of seals erupted suddenly as a face of determination replaced one of fear and failure. His chakra went out. Five prefect sendon formed just three feet in front of him. He focused hard and they all darted upward and out on an angle. This time flying true, they all stuck into the mountainside, leaving little spikes that could be seen from a distance.

"I don't know if I can go on much longer... or if I should." He thought looking back at his sword. It was tempting to just grab it and head home where Ikimari would be waiting.

Kimarin walked slowly over to his sword and grasped it with what little strength he had. It was time to head back home. He could start again tomorrow, and work on something special. It would open up room for a lot of earth jutsu and a whole new element that he has been dying to dry out.

~Next day~

The days have been long and hard, making the food taste even better. Slurping the noodles into his mouth was beyond satisfaction. The salty flavor of beef broth and fresh vegetables was most refreshing. Kimarin began eating slowly, but couldn’t help bringing the bowl to his mouth and shoveling it in. The hot soup almost burning his tongue he could only stand it for seconds at a time, pulling it away, then shoving it to his face again and again till it was gone. He knew he ate like a beast sometimes but he had to hurry and go back to train. The excitement of learning a new element was so present in his mind that he ran out from the ramen shop as soon as his bowl was empty.

The stinging in his lungs intensified with every block he ran. It was all a part of the training, he had to keep his endurance up if he was going to be effective in combat. Not to mention it would teach his mind to focus on jutsu even though he was exhausted. He tried to incorporate everything in his life to some kind of training.

He made his way down the street. Buildings blurred past, a stream of colors passing kimarin on both sides, then it cut off abruptly, giving room to an open area that was littered with trees. The grassy area was somewhat uncommon in the earth country, but it couldn’t help but burst into life with the nearby river that flowed rapidly to the south. He slowed to a walk and began to catch his breath before practicing his new jutsu.

The river bank was lush with fresh grass that was littered with flowers, insects buzzed by in a hurry and large fish could be seen through the clear blue water; it gave sight into a new world. A world teeming with living creatures and beautiful rocks and corral. Kimarin couldn’t think of a better or more radiant place to practice his water release technique.

Today was just going to be focused on spreading his chakra into the water, maybe searing it up a bit or something of the like. He knew that it was about learning the basics of control over the new element, not necessarily preforming jutsu. He put his hands together, almost out of instinct. There were no handseals that needed to be preformed, but this stance was used so much in focusing his chakra it came to him naturally.

He began to let his chakra flow into the water itself, it wasn't visible, but he could feel as it floated in some spots and was carried away in others. He could feel sense the life within the water. The fish, the coral, the water itself. With in it was a vast world just waiting to be explored. He let it take his chakra, extending it till it permeated the river from side to side, streams of it being taken town river, but most of it staying in a constant focused area.

The life was amazing. It wasn't like using earth jutsu where you had to force your chakra, it was more fluid than that. It required much more control, you didn't have to force anything, but direct it in the way you wanted to go and it was there. The hardest part was keep it all together to be used. He could see that this was going to be a new exciting road to travel. Something so different from earth techniques, something to fragile, yet so destructive. The thought sent chills down Kimarin's back.
