he white queen, it was one of those little way stations where caravans would pass, where merchants would exchange goods between their carts or simply stop to rest for a while and rest. The venue was small, just a single inn and a kitchen on the ground floor, with a top floor sliced up into guests rooms. What set this place apart was that it was somewhat fortified. The inn was atop a small mount overlooking the crossroads, surrounded by a palisade that guarded by five men detached by a local merchant guild. Outside a fire roared to keep the guests warm despite the autumn chill, over which a pig was turning. At the moment only one caravan was present and another was departing, but the proprietors indubitably expected more to turn up later in the day.

Here outside he had taken position. Looking at his opponent over a glass of mulled wine and the black and white battlefield between them Gosei was simply playing a few games to pass the time. His contact should have been here hours ago but by now the Godaime wondered if the man would ever show up. Rather than paying attention to the game the Kazeraikou had been watching the road, so it was no surprise that his opponent captured his queen and called checkmate. Reluctantly he pushed over his king with a sigh. His opponent left, probably in search of someone who would present more of a challenge.

[The Doctor]

Off in the distance came walking a young man. He was approximately 6 foot 3 and weighed a little over 180 pounds. His eyes were as blue as the ocean, hair black as the night with a little white streak in the middle. His pants were cargo, dark black in color with a dark gray tight fitted shirt. These were separated by the simple leather belt with a silver buckle in the middle. He headed straight to the fire as his brown leather rideback jacket kept him warm. The Jacket was perhaps the most unique thing this young man had. It had the capacity to carry a plethora of items as it was combined with a tactical load carrying vest. On the outside people would not notice, but on the inside, this young man was able to carry 19 slots worth of items if needed. Finally his black gloves covered his hands as the sounds of his large boots smacked the ground.

He passed the fire and headed up towards the Inn before giving a little wave to some of the people outside. “Afternoon fellas,” he said with a smile. “How’s the food today?” he asked curiously looking around for a brief moment but not making it obvious. He head a soft sigh and turned towards it seeing a man finishing up a game of chess with another man. He knew who this man was. How could he not? This man was of importance. With that the Doctor immediately glanced around to see where the protection detail was at.

Description: This ritual is among the most subtle of all deception rituals. The Dance of the Peacock is often performed by more cunning and rakish performers without their targets ever even knowing they are doing so. And some performers have found intricate and subtle ways in which to weave the necessary gestures and incantations of the ritual into dances, songs, and even conversations. Though the ritual is widely known as the Dance of the Peacock for its often showy displays and ultimately intoxicating effect upon a target, it can take almost any form, so long as its performer can subtly apply certain incantations and reagents at the appropriate times during its performing. To perform the ritual, user must engage the attention of their intended target. Doing so may involve garnering the target’s undivided attention during some sort of performance, or simply by involving the target in uninterrupted conversation. In certain circumstances, user might even bind up their target to the point of helplessness, so it has no other choice but to witness the ritual. If, for any reason, the target’s attention is drawn away from the user during the performing of the ritual, user loses the component cost. Once the user has the target’s attention, the ritual begins, in whatever form the user chooses. During the performance, user may choose to make an Acting check. The target makes a Sense Motive check in opposition to the user's Acting check to determine if it realizes it is the target of the ritual. User may also forgo the Acting check, but doing so means the target is automatically aware that a ritual is being performed and that it is, in fact, the target. Assuming the user is able to complete the ritual, upon completion, target must make a Will Save (10 + 2 per Class Level + Impeccable Will). If failed, the target falls deeply in love with the user. The user's Deception Ritual Mastery determines the duration before which the target may make a Save to end the effect.

Advanced: Each hour until it successfully saves.
Expert: Each day until it successfully saves.
Master: Each week until it successfully saves.

A target who is in love with the user is assumed to always have a friendly attitude, and will be as helpful to the user as possible. The target will not, however, commit suicidal acts on the user's behalf, nor is it Chakra compelled to obey the user. It retains its normal judgment and sense of self-preservation.

aving taken another sip Gosei would observe a man walking in from the road. For a few seconds amethyst eyes would linger on the white streak in the hair of this newcomer. A mark, easily to recognise, or functioning as a distraction. "Good afternoon. We have no idea for it is not done yet." Gosei answered simply, vaguely waving his hand in the direction of the still roasting pork. A woman appeared by his side but Gosei pushed her off. He had no desire in being robbed today. As he did so he however found a slip of paper in his pocket. Strange.

The stranger meanwhile seemed to have recognised the Godaime, looking about for any sign of... Well, the entourage expected of an acting Hokage. "There is no need, I have brought no one. Are you the guy I have been waiting for?" Gosei requested quite bluntly. He had been waiting far too long to go through the whole song and dance that usually accompanied these kind of meetings.

[The Doctor]

The Doctor nodded slightly as the Kage explained to him about the food not being done yet. “Well that is a shame,” he said calmly placing a hand on his stomach. He turned his attention to the Kage noticing the woman react to the Kage. Eyes narrowed as he thought he saw something but shrugged it off as it was not his business. He took another quick glance around, taking in the scenery for a moment before hearing the Kage once again.

"There is no need, I have brought no one. Are you the guy I have been waiting for?"

Shaking his head some the Doctor chuckled. “No, if I were to meet someone it would be in a lot more busy place than this,” he answered the Kage before walking up to a post and placing his back against it, propping himself up. He turned his attention to the Kage and smiled “Sorry to disappoint, maybe I should leave then.”

The Doctor Turned, saw a pod not to far away. Eyes narrowed as he walked over to it. When he looked inside he saw a body. The Doctor didn't do an autopsy but he opened the pod up, placed a hand along the neck and checked to see if the body was dead. 'Odd,' he thought to himself. 'This is a cryopod so..." he stopped for a moment and went into deep thought.

apping shortly on the table with one of the chess pieces that he had lost last round Gosei sighed a second time. Not his liaison after all. Under another pawn he found a deed to some stables. Without much of a thought he put the paper into his pocket. "Why don't you have a seat? I have been waiting anyway, it is better to wait in company no?" He asked, but the man's attention was drawn by a pod. "Something in there?"

[The Doctor]

He closed the Cryopod and locked it in its place. It would be best if it was investigated later. "Why don't you have a seat? I have been waiting anyway, it is better to wait in company no?" said the Kage.

Giving a nod he began walking towards the Kage before he suddenly tripped on something that suddenly appeared in front of him. He looked down and saw a flute. Tilting his head he bent down and picked it up seeing the words “Dank” written on it. Giving a soft sigh he just tossed it back to where the Cryopod was at. The flute had no interest in him. He began to wonder if he could sell it here since this was a hub for merchants.

“Alright, I got some time,” he said to the Kage giving a little shrug. He walked up to him and pulled up a chair. Sitting down quite loudly he kicked up his feet against a post and tilted the chair back some.

"Something in there?" asked the Kage.

“Dead body.” He answered casually.

Description: A Light Weapon. These weapons do +1 Amour Points of Damage. The Range Increment of this weapon is 5 meters. A caltrop is a 4-pronged iron spike crafted so that one prong faces up no matter how the caltrop comes to rest. The user scatters caltrops on the ground in the hope that the opponent steps on them or at least forced to slow down to avoid them. 1 slot of caltrops cover an area 2 meter squared. Each time a creature moves into an area covered by caltrops or spends a round fighting while standing in an area, they may step on one. As the Doctor was sitting there he placed his foot down onto the floor and felt a sharp pain go through his boot. “Gah,” he spoke up as he looked down. Anger in his eyes he saw some caltrops on the floor. Eyes widen with a smile came about however as he saw the Leg Individual Equipment and the plethora of Caltrops. Giving a nod he picked them all up one at a time and placed them in the Leg Individual Equipment. He then wrapped the leg holster around his left leg and kept it there. “Looks good,” he said calmly before placing his feet back up.

"Shame, that will need a lot of scrubbing then. Could I mayhaps interest you in a cup of this?" said the Kage about the Cryopod.

“I might give it to some of the authorities,” he replied.

"I am Lord Kazeraikou Gosei, to whom do I owe this pleasure?"

The Doctor turned to the Kage and gave a nod before extending a hand to him. “You can call me Loden.”

While the user performs this ritual, the subject must remain within the Teleportation Circle to which the user is attuning them. eaning forward Gosei would firmly shake the hand of the stranger, now self-styled as 'Loden'. Gosei did not like one-word-names. Either they were false -the simpler a name was, the more difficult to track after all- or he was dealing with a nobody. "You could but I doubt that they will find anything, that is a cryo-stasis pod after all. The poor sap could have been in there for decades." Then, unexpectedly, from the very heavens themselves, like a gift came a book, thudding right on top of Gosei's head.Grabbing it swiftly before it would drop to the ground Gosei would catch it, placing it on top of the previous. "Do you play, Mr. Loden?" Gosei asked, shifting pieces back to his side in order. "They say that mastery of this game means mastery of the battlefield in real life. I never understood those people."

[The Doctor]

After shaking the Kage’s hand he gave a little nod. He could see that the Kage was not pleased with his name but it did not bug him too much. Loden turned his attention off into the distance watching the people coming and going while listening to the Kage. He gave a nod but the Doctor really would probably check the body himself anyways just to make sure of it and make a file of it. That’s just how he was but that was not something the Kage needed to know.

Then out of nowhere a body fell upon him from above. He quickly hurled the body off before itself defecated itself one final time. It was a 2nd body within the past couple of moments. The Doctor slowly began to piece things together. He had experienced this before at least once every past two years but he did not have enough data to confirm if he was right. Giving a soft sigh he began checking the body. He found the rituals and placed them in his coat. He quickly picked up the body and heard the Kage speak.

"Do you play, Mr. Loden?"

He was talking about the chess game. The Doctor nodded before opening the cryopod and placing the body inside with the other.

“I’ve been known to play a game from time to time.” He answered walking back to the Kage.

Description: Mix the powdered blue rock into the water and boil for 2 minutes. Let this mixture set for 2 days, then mix it up thoroughly and boil again for 10 minutes. While the mixture is still boiling, add the ven moss powder and immediately remove from heat. Stir constantly while allowing the mixture to cool. This will make 1 half-bottle of "Dragon’s Voice" (enough for 2 uses). If more than 1 half-bottle of "Dragon’s Voice" is drank by the same being in a single day, they will suffer an extremely sore throat and will completely lose their voice for 1d4 days. Several large swallows of this liquid will cause the voice of any person to become extremely loud and booming, much like the voice of a natural dragon, but even more intense. The Doctor saw the old man coming up to him. There was a riddle. Raising an eyebrow he waited patiently as the man asked what the Doctor’s favorite color was. “Uh, red,” the Doctor answered. He waited as the man gave him the potion. He examined it for a moment before placing it into his coat in one of his many pouches.

Afterwards the Doctor turned his attention towards the Kage and narrowed his eyes some. Black Knight B8 to C6 he calmly spoke out, he moved the piece.

"The dead are really bothersome today are they not? I haven't seen them this lively in a while." The Kage commented making a small talk.

The Doctor gave a nod. “About a couple of months ago there was some sort of invasion with Undead throughout the country of Rice Fields. There were reports of invasions throughout the world. I take it Fire Country was doing well?” he answered with a calm question, continuing the conversation

When the Jumping Lightning Spider gets close enough to an opponent, it'll explode in electricity doing 42 Armour Points of Electrical Damage to anyone within an 8-meter radius. This destroys the Jumping Shock Spider. Ingredients create 3 Jumping Shock Spiders.

The doctor took in a deep breath and gave a soft sigh. He thinks he may have enough data now to make an educated guess since it seems to happen quite frequently. He shook his head though he didn’t want to say anything prematurely.

Turning his attention to the Kage he watched as the Kage moved the piece. He took hold of the pawn at E7 and moved it up one to E6. “I was in the city capital of Rice Fields at the time. I got cornered by some ghouls but luckily there was a theatre nearby where city guards and the Oto Kage were battling them off.” He said calmly looking up at the Kage.
