Rokkingu Kaze (Rocking Wind)
Rank: C
Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: The user takes a half step backwards and rolls away from a strike, then takes a step forward and strikes with the main hand.
Special: --
Drawback: This technique requires an acute sense of balance.
Description: The user takes a half-step backwards with their off-foot, rocking their center of gravity down and backwards in a circular motion, allowing a strike to barely miss them. They then complete the motion and take a full step forward with their main-foot, rushing upwards towards the opponent and delivering a strong straight-punch with their main-hand to the solar plexus or stomach. The user then resumes the stance.
Limit: Must learn from a Gintsuki no Seikou Mai Master. Must know Shikkyaku Yuki (Falling Snow).

Body low, legs and feet falling neatly in line with my shoulders, primary foot forward—toes to my enemy—back foot at an angle behind my main one, torso somewhere in the middle. My dominant hand in a fist, raised slightly higher than my non-dominant fist. Eye always on my enemy—in this case, a punching bag two times my size but no matter.
As if the punching bag had thrown a hearty punch, my upper body falls back in time with a half-step back, semi-circular in motion. Following through with the momentum, I step forward with a straight punch, bare knuckles thudding deftly on the punching bag. The hinges rattle as I step back into stance. I complete the motion again as if another steady punch has just barely grazed me. Another punch with my main hand has my knuckles sore.
"Good," Sensei says, walking slowly around me. I've not yet grown fatigued, my breathing steady through my nose, so I do it once more. Half-step back in a circular motion, torso dropping just in time under an unseen punch. A cane at the back of my knees, not hard but sudden, urging my legs to bend. "Remember to keep your knees bent, Kotori."
"Yessir," I mutter obediently, lowering my body. I can feel my weight in my knees as I step back now, below an invisible attack, knuckles on leather and the punching bag rocks slightly. It is repetitive but necessary, I remind myself. I resume the Hyouuruuu Yuki stance - knees bent - and crescent-shape dodge a non-existent punch. I strike the punching bag hard, though I could never hope to put a dent in it with my frail figure. Sweat beads at my temples and I exhale hard.
"Good," Sensei says but I do not believe him.
