PERSONALITY
Tomomi, who is occasionally affably designated as Tomo, is loyal. Entirely, completely,
and without exception, he is faithful to his companions and allies. His meaningless experiences have resulted in an unfulfilled individual that has single-mindedly pursued one aspect of subsistence that they didn't particularly enjoy. THUS! Tomo chases wholeheartedly after the pursuit of maintaining the happiness of those he considers to be friends and allies. Despite his skill in martial arts, Tomo doesn't especially enjoy committing malicious acts, but is not above acts of vindication and violence if necessary.
Driven substantially by the idea of the idea of protecting a comrade, Tomo; perhaps unrealistically, believes he'll sacrifice himself for this cause one day. Although he doesn't act it very well, he is extremely fond of his fellow grass villagers. Having been provided a place to stay and align himself with, he in return contributes his commitment and devotion.
The sheltered Tomo is usually extremely shy. You might expect him to possess little to no social skills, and you'd be correct in making that assumption. Until very recently, Tomo's only interaction on an individual level was in two very specific manners. Either he was being taught by a Jyūken master, or sparring with a practitioner. As a result of this, Tomo doesn't speak much, or at all really. He is extremely distrustful of 1-on-1 introductions, and even in group situations, he will usually simply bow in respect.
While nearly entirely mute aside from the direst of conditions, Tomo is rather facially expressive. His face will contort to convey disgust, discomfort, kindness, or delight. Omitting articulation from his interaction results in a sense of comfort that is severely lacking from regular communication. He does his best to express his unintentional lack of respect, but occasionally this doesn't come over very well.
Tomomi, while occupied, becomes a seemingly completely different individual entirely. A wide-toothed grin occasionally escaping his lips. Tomo very much enjoys a good fight. Hand to hand fights especially. It's not often that he meets a person as skilled in martial arts as him, or even near his proficiency. Tomo could become very good friends with a rival that thoroughly occupies his attention.
Tomo spends his loyalty nearly exclusively on Kusagakure, and therefore has none to spare. He would choose Kusa over his birth clan and village, the Hyuuga of Konoha. He doesn't imagine himself becoming friends with anybody outside of his circle, but of course there could be exceptions. Tomo doesn't outright hate people outside of Kusa, but he certainly holds a place in his heart for Kusa denizens.
APPEARANCE
Tomo possesses a rather puzzling image. He appears relatively feminine for a person so... obviously male upon reexamination. His hair stubbornly maintains a trendy but somewhat tacky style. His hair is spiked upwards in a strange manner, appearing similar to the feathers of a bird. His facial features, rather than being too girlish, are simply childish. He hasn't quite grown into a more boyish facial structure or any facial hair whatsoever. Perhaps soon, there may be less confusion.
His skin is pallid. Extremely pale derma, but perhaps his heritage contributed responsibly to his complexion. His figure is small, but sturdy. Thin appendages lend a surprising amount of strength for features so compact. Fortunately, Tomo's discouraging stature doesn't seem to upset him. Perhaps upon a more mature age, Tomo's height will expand to accommodate societal andric expectations. For now though, he is neither upset, satisfied by his height, nor is he bothered by individuals especially lofty in comparison.
Tomomi was born to the mighty and prestigious Hyūga clan, and by extension he possesses their Kekkei Genkai. His coveted eyes are especially different compared to the average individual, even upon preliminary examination. His odd retina are an extremely dull but strangely beautiful shade of slightly off-white. In addition to this oddity, Tomo has no pupils. He doesn't make any effort to hide his eyes, nor does he care if people find them strange, or wish to hold them as their own. When Tomo activates his rare Dōjutsu, small indistinct veins appear around his sclerae, and additional veins bulge around the eyes.
As far as attire is concerned, Tomo prefers to keep his dress simple. Scrubby, if you will. He is especially active physically, in an attempt to maintain peak condition. So in order to mitigate the need to exchange garments excessively, he wears a tracksuit. The jacket is a light, nearly white shade of grey, with a darker shade on the collar, sleeves and bottom. Consistently the suit can be seen with small stains here and there. As a result of this, Tomo is occasionally mistaken for a homeless person; but mostly because of his refusal to adjust his apparel according to circumstances. Finally, on his feet, Tomo sports a pair of simple lace-less flats. Typically they are black, but occasionally they will also be grey, khaki or white.

HISTORY
Tomomi Hyūga, as he was initially designated, was born in Konohagakure under very unusual circumstances. His father, who we'll leave unnamed for convenience sake, was an unsatisfied man, that sought, rather unsuccessfully; and with every fiber of his being,
glory. He wished for accomplishment and achievement much in the way that people yearn for money or power. Unfortunately for Tomomi's father, he attained none such exploits.
Fortunately, though, he was a main house Hyūga, and regardless of his failures, he had a powerful clan and village behind him.
Eventually, Tomo's father relinquished his attempts at fulfilling his lofty goals, and moved on with his life. It was at this point that he'd managed to meet a young attractive Hyūga daughter, who he'd psychologically tricked into being his bride and bearing his child. It was through this union that Tomomi was born. Any opportunity for him to be raised in a thoughtful and supportive environment were quickly dashed though.
Tomo's father raised him in near seclusion. His entire existence was devoted to the Hyūga fighting style, Jyūken, and the kekkei genkai, and studying. Tomo was occasionally brought to a Hyūga dojo in the village in order to learn a move or technique that his father was unable to teach, but otherwise he had no interaction with regular people whatsoever.
Because of this, Tomomi became something of a figurative robot, simply dedicated to his father's requests. He only met his mother a few brief times, but doesn't seem to recall what she even looked or sounded like. His father'd managed to brainwash his innocent child into believing the world existed simply for the Hyūga and Jyūken. This went on for several years. Perhaps 5, perhaps 10, perhaps 12. Tomo never celebrated a birthday,
so he never knew how old he was.
As a result of this cruel and strange upbringing, Tomo mastered Jyūken astonishingly fast. He passed the ability level of masters who'd been practicing the art for decades in a period of time that not many had seen before. It didn't take long for the Hyūga elders to consider the ramifications of what Tomo's father had done. Instead of resisting, however, he simply explained his (feigned) dedication to the clan and suspicions were temporarily dropped.
At some point, Tomo and his father moved to a different home, which Tomo later found out to be inside Kusagakure. It was at this point that Tomo awoke one morning to find a letter resting upon the dining room table. Inside this letter, he found a series of apologies for the cruel and unusual way in which his father had raised him. Because of this, Tomo was now a mostly educated lad that had entirely mastered the art of Jyūken and has a bright future ahead of him.
With the tools that his father had provided for him, Tomo was now allowed to do whatever he likes with his future. Thankfully Kusagakure was gracious enough to give Tomomi the opportunity to provide his services to the village as a Genin, and he accepted gratefully. Now with an open future, Tomo can do whatever he'd like, and get himself into as much trouble as he sees fit. LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!
