Character Depth
Personality
Abame is someone that is rather dependable and simple. If you ask him to do something for you, and it is within his reach, he will do it. However, he commonly does not plan ahead for personal days or holidays. He enjoys playing those things by ear, and rarely will be found doing the same monotonous thing over and over again. As a whole, he is rather altruistic and would rather spend time helping others than helping himself.
While it is very easy for him to help others, it is hard for him to speak to people that he barely knows. He is rather shy and enjoys observing others before speaking to them. He likes to know how they act and it is easier for him to pick up on the flow of conversation after he has seen how someone reacts with other people. More often than not, he is unable to speak to those that are rude to others. A good example for this, would be if you went on a date with someone who is rude to the server, he’d be completely turned off by that person.
He is very good at keeping his emotions in check, and is typically very good at reading the emotions of other. Because of this, he is typically very sympathetic to people who are feeling down, and has no problem comforting them. He has a strong sense that justice will prevail, and that he need not intervene unless someone’s life is on the line. He doesn’t want to be seen as some sort of vigilante or anything of the sort, he just wants to do his job and keep people safe. If he can avoid it, he’d rather not take the life of another.

Appearance
Abame is very plain looking, he is rather friendly and his face often portrays that. In almost all regards, he is rather tall and lanky. His posture is pretty good, but his shoulders usually droop down and sag, causing his arms to look a bit longer than they actually are. He wears very simple clothing, a dark black shirt that cuts off at the elbows and a pair of oil green pants that he usually has rolled up past the shins. He wears a bracer on each arm as more of a ceremonial gesture than anything else, and when he goes out on missions, he always wears his fire-resistant, charcoal gray cloak.
HIs boy itself is rather tone, but not all that muscular. His face is riddled with freckles and is often left dirty from work or play. His eyes are a dark brown, but with soft flakes of green that are obvious to spot when it's bright outside. He keeps his hair rather long, typically tied back into a pony tail so that it does not get in the way. He has very round ears that turn red whenever he gets even remotely embarrassed or feels guilty.
His hands are very well kept, he has to keep them in tip-top condition for his medical jutsus. His shoes are almost always dirty, but they are made for hiking or walking on other tough terrain. He keeps his clothes clean, often doing his own laundry to ensure that they are just the way he likes. As a rule, he always brushes his teeth after a meal to make sure that they stay white. In combat, he wields a large red umbrella that has senbon concealed inside it.

Background
Abame grew up in the cloud village with his grandparents. His parents, while both alive and well, were rarely home. His mother was a Medical ninja, and his father was a fisherman who went from port to port to sell his haul. Abame's grandmother was also a Medical ninja, and she taught him a majority of his basic knowledge. His grandfather owned a small noodle shop, where he spent of his younger years working. Most of Abame's childhood was spent helping others.
In his early teens, his mother started spending a lot more time in the village, which certainly made his day to day life a little more interesting. She would tell him stories about the missions that were a bit more child friendly. He started to get more interested in what it meant to be a ninja, instead of just a normal person. His mother became a type of doctor, and she began to treat the wounds and sickness of those that couldn't afford a real doctor, after a couple of years, Abame began to help her with this instead.
A couple more years of that and he felt it was time for something different. He enrolled in the Shinobi academy, where he learned a lot of basic jutsu and techniques. Abame took to it like a fish in water, he was able to control his chakra extremely well and enjoyed the schooling. A majority of the things that he learned were fun and he was more than interested in saving others. He wanted to become a Medical ninja that would help save as many people as possible. After graduating, he even began to learn Taijutsus from Mauy Thai and Capoeira masters.
