he boy had once again felt the need to get away from the life of a ninja and head out into the world,
and as usual he felt drawn towards the eastern nations. It was something special in that direction, possibly the ocean or just the fact that his family originated that way. Emi did however not care and leaned back on Zetsubô as he slowly rode through the warm nations of the fire country. People avoided the duo whenever they were crossed, which was just common sense as the companion was a Huge monster and he himself was some kind of hybrid.
Emi had opened up his robe to wind out the moist skin before he searched through it for all of his normal gear, a dozen perfected kunais, his incendiary tags and hidden at his belt the frostbite. He had however changed it slightly as he instead of his normal hammer wore the freshly build Widows Gallow, the one he had made for Zuruel.

Time for a bite?

He asked his friend as he heard a couple of footsteps and looked up on the incoming individual while his nerves prepared him for a possible enemy.

“Ah, Emi.” Zuruel blinked. As usual, he was dressed from head to toe in pitch-black attire aside from a large dark grey cloak stretching all the way from shoulder-level to his knees. On his person, there were no weapons. None visible anyway. Today was, after all, a time of peace. Naturally, this made it easier to cross the country with the amount of money he had hidden away in his Deep Pockets ritual. “Off for a bite? Care for some company?” Naturally, both Zuruel and his Moon Dog companion’s eyes were drawn to Emi’s creature. Not really knowing much about it suggested that it didn’t come from forest, grassland or mountainous regions. This seemed to pick at the Kedoin's curiosity.

The young man with the crimson red hair makes his way. Besides him is a girl with crimson hair as well. The girl is in front and has this authority like aura as she leads the way. Without knowledge of the two, you think the girl is the master and the man is the servant. The two have very similar appearance, as if they’re siblings. Again, this is an illusion. Neither one of them is related by blood and neither one is remotely human. “For someone who claims to be fastest flier in the world, you’re slow.” The young man simply sigh as he lets him to be pushed around. The others do not talk this much nor do they dare to speak to me in such a way, he mutters to himself. He looks up ahead and finds a couple familiar outlines. As the two catches up, the man realize who it is. “ Zuruel? It been some time since we last seen one another.”[/b[

he man that came to join the duo was no other than the man he had been hoping to meet, Zuruel. A faint smile escaped the boy as he slid down on the bulette's left side and walked up to meet them. But as he was almost within formal talking distance, a medic cut him off and handed him some pills. He knew what they were meant for, but the strange comment from the medic and sudden disappearance made him wonder if they were poisoned or if something else was happening.

Well of course you're welcomed to join in. We prefer our meat on the bleeding side, but maybe you know a good restaurant nearby?

Then he remembered the extra weight on his back and immediately swooped it down and lay it in between his arms stretched out towards lady.

Emi then had to calm Zetsubô down, as another person approached them. It seemed as if he knew Zuruel, but Emi still kept his distance and attention to where the man kept his hands.

“Blight… You’re alive? Wondrous. You even managed to make a friend.” Zuruel’s attention couldn’t help but be grabbed by Blight’s crimson-haired companion. Sensing a great deal of good in her, Lady’s tail began to wag rapidly at the sight of the girl. Being a moon dog, the girl would likely also respond in a similarly positive way to Lady’s presence. “What a coincidence. Lady and I tend to hunt down our own meat. The fresher the better.” Zuruel couldn’t help but smile at Emi’s comment. Like Blight, Zuruel always felt an odd sense of comfort when in the presence of Emi. Both men always appeared to be open books with no hidden agenda. Naturally, those were the types that the Kedoin always got on well with. “Ah, you finished the weapon? Then let us find a market I can sell the rest of my goods and I will have your full commission.” Lady pointed her nose towards the large bag slung over Zuruel’s shoulder. It was full of acorns that he planned on selling.

The Meal

uckily enough Emi was able to relax when he noticed that the incoming duo were familiar to Zuruel, which allowed his body to remind him about the food. Since his companion appeared to be just as hungry as himself, Emi pat him a few times on the head before he nodded for the beast to confirm the hunt was on. The huge beast backed off a little and gently stomed a few times of excitement before he dashed off towards a minor forest nearby. Each time the feet hit the ground, it shook from his massive weight, making him wonder how the prey actually managed to not notice him from a mile away. But the boy just shrugged and handed over the blade to Lady.

The blade is fully made, it only needs to be sharpened once on the stone that Zuruel mentioned to exist in Mo village. As I trust I'll get the money you can have it immediately and try it out for a while. Would be good with a review for my own pursuit of knowledge.

He then smiled at the fox and then took a few steps towards the forest.

The question was directed for all of the members of the group, but Emi was barely finishing the sentence before he dashed off after Zetsubô.

“Something like that.” Blight places his hands into his pockets and sigh. Zuruel dog begin wagging her tail and seem to like Junko already. Junko looks at the dog and a grin is drawn on her face as she falls onto her knees to begin petting the dog. Blight rolls his eyes and listens in on their conversation. Junko ears flicker and look up when she heard her magical word. “Yall mention something about food?” Blight sigh and look over to the one Blight has not met yet. “Sorry, she’s a fire cracker. Once she starts going, she do not stop. My name is Blight, the one with me is name Junko. You are?”

“Woah.” Lady staggered slightly as Emi’s companion stomped off. Clearly, the creature’s body had quite a bit of weight to it. “Thank you!” A puff of smoke exploded out from Lady and dissipated to reveal the Moon Dog in her human form. Excited, she grabbed hold of the katana and amateurishly swung it around with the sheath still on. Clearly, she was happy. “I have much to teach you…” Zuruel rolled his eyes as he lowered the weapon by pushing down on the sheath with his finger. “I could do with a hunt. Let’s go – we might find some lumberjacks I can sell these acorns to.”

Under attack

he boy didn't get far before the newcomer introduced himself to him, so he skidded to a stop which created a cloud of dust. Then he went back to the newcomers and offered the speaker his hand and smiled. It wasn't genuine, but he tried to act as it was.

Apologizes, I am Hoshigaki Emi of the Crimson Rain and my companion is called Zetsubô.

He made a swooping action with his hand towards the beast in the distance as he presented him. But as he was about to take down his arm he noticed the portal that opened up from nowhere.

It's happening again

He said underneath his breath as he focused into the portal and saw the huge scorpion exit and cry out ready for battle. So Emi didn't hesitate, the animal was going to become either food or subdued. After focusing some chakra Emi then activated his divine aura,
shunshined back and forth to get close to the scorpion while confusing it before he launched himself up towards its back from the scorpions left side. When he was in range he threw a punch towards it head with the intentions of stunning the creature. Emi would then jump back a few times to get some distance to the animal.

"No need to be so formal Emi... You'll quickly learn that Blight over has no appreciation for manners." Zuruel then blinked as Emi began to shimmer. "What is that technique?" Truly, it interested the Kedoin. Almost as much as the scorpion. As Emi stunned it, Zuruel grinned cruelly as he dashed over with a glass container in his hand. Swiftly, he threw a mighty punch at the beast's head, the act of which crushing its skull and leaving a tiny crater in the ground below the point of impact. With that complete, Zuruel set about harvesting the creature's poison gland. From his knowledge of animals, he knew that he could do some interesting things with it.

Another dimension

he scorpion went down easier than he had expected, and as Zuruel was quick to finish it off with a might attack he just sighed and looked at the potential the animal had in its life. Then he shrugged again and walked up to it as his friend was draining the poinson from it and leaned towards its body.

This is one of the divine powers I've learned the past years.

He looked at the shimmering around his hands as he began to think back to the last time he had used the technique, it had been a long time and yet it worked better than ever. But before he had been able to settle down his body tumbled forward and therefor avoided the worst initial amount of lava coming out from out of nowhere. There had been some splash up from the lava which lay on the outer layer of his aura, which he then brushed off as he jumped further away from the coming lava.

I believe we should change location, this will get dangerous here, I've experienced this before. It's an dimensional invasion that appears to happen every other year in the middle of nowhere.

The lava spread across the ground and Emi tried to assist the others if needed as they headed away from the opened hole.

Blight looks over to Shinzu to who told Emi he has no manners. “Ts, says the guy who had a weird boner for me and attacked on sight for his sexual frustration.” Well, he fell asleep from genjutsu the point still stands for him to fall for it, several times. Even after bitch slapping him over and over again he refuse to wake up. Junko and lady appears to get along. Good, now she get off my back he mutter to himself. Suddenly a scorpion falls out of the sky and it quickly get taken care of. “Oh, you get these weird rifts as well?”

“Divine power? Interesting.” Zuruel wondered if he could achieve such a technique. Sadly, things of divine nature didn’t mix well with him due to his dark past. “Careful.” Zuruel blinked as lava began to pour down out of nowhere. It was quite the spectacle. There was no need to assist Emi – he seemed rather quick on his feet and possessed sharp reflexes. “Very well.” With no reason to argue, the Kedoin finished harvesting the last of the scorpion’s gland before dashing away to a new location. Of course, whilst dashing alongside Emi, he couldn’t help but roll his eyes at Blight’s words. “Begone pest. If we fought again your Genjutsu wouldn’t so much as even effect me.”

It was that time again... Weird occurances happenning just for being around other individuals. It's happened consistantly every two years around this time. The moment I would start interacting with others, no matter where in the Lands, it happened. Portals would open up, sometimes giving things, sometimes taking you places, sometimes delivering enemies of some sort, and random people would just thrust items in your hands. I walked around the Land of Fire, noticing a group of people gathered, likely taking benefit in a place like this.

Blight about to take off until he was hit from a random passbyer. Blight was about to destroy him until he gave him some weird tokens. Blight wings grow out and begin flying at a decent speed to keep up. Junko begin running to keep up with Emi and Zuruel. “Hate to break it to you but it wasn’t genjutsu.” Bliight change his attention to over Emi. “Like to hear the story on this?” As they move, they come across a friendly looking man. “Indeed, weird things been happening all day.”
