Shoko grinned with a sadistic sort of amusement as the herd of Yakitani tried to escape, he knew it himself that their attempts would be futile. The mud pit that Hamura had manifested inot the ground would effectively and efficiently halt their movement. It was now Shoko's time to strike, the boy would do so to carry out the final stage in the thrill of the hunt. Though as the boy built up his chakra and formed his handseals, he would feel no regret, nor mercy. It was just something that had to be done.
It was as Shoko craned his neck to get a better view of his targets that were partially obscured by Hamura's water clones, it would seem that life had other plans. It was at that moment that Shoko could hear the movement of another person rushing towards his location. Shoko let his instincts take over from there, he tossed his explosive shurikens towards the herds alpha, his hand sent it curving around Ham's wall of clones and hitting the alpha, dealing minimal damage. But Shoko wasn't done, with a quick handseal, the explsosive talismans stuffed in all three would ignite and then explode. The combined damage from three fire explosive talismans exploding at it's body was enough to permanently take care of it.
It was at that same time that Dragon strikes would soar through the air and strike the remaining Yakitani, Ryutatsu would then emerge. Shoko would perform a string of handseals but it seemed that it was already too late, Ryu had already intercepted the rest of the Yakitani. Shoko didn't bother to cast anymore jutsu, he just watched as the Ryutatsu's favourite sword and a few other kunai sliced through the air towards the remaining Yakitani. The boy sighed ruefully, though it seemed today wasn't a total loss. Shoko had still managed to take down the alpha and that had to be worth some points.
