Greetings Everyone and welcome to the 2017 Advent Calendar. Today is December 5th, which means Days 5 and 6 of the Advent Calendar and the theme for today (If you couldn't see the big letters above) Is The Twelve Days of Christmas! Yes, the classic Christmas carol sung at this time of year. You know the one! The one that takes forever to sing and often causes people to forget the words to! Well... I think it'll be fun to create our own version of it. In the next post, I've included a coded post. Just fill out your own words to it and after 24 hours, I'll post them all up to be voted on. Can you remake this Christmas classic?

Here are the rules for this event!

[li]This is a one part event! 1) Fill out the coded post below and PM it to me as a means of recreating a classic song.
[/li][li]This is a Submission Event! This means that all entries into this event are to be PMed to Gift Giver . The thread will be locked until the voting phase begins.
[/li][li]This is a TWO DAY EVENT! That means that 48 hours from the time of posting, this event can be closed. Will it be closed immediately after that point? Nope! The thread isn't closed until I say that it is. So if I haven't posted saying it's closed, you can submit! However, each day is for something separate. The first day is for submissions, the second day is for voting. So submissions will only be accepted in the first 24 hours.
[/li][li]As it says above, voting will be done to decide the winners. After the first 24 hours, I will post the submissions. After that, another 24 hours will be given for the site to vote on what they think is the best entry.

I will give you an extension equal to the amount of time you were waiting on me to respond. Now for the fun part... The prize! The prize for Day 5/6's event is... a mystery! Yep, keeping this one hidden (Most will be like this). However, I will say there is a First, Second, and Third place prize here. The voting is what will determine that. There will also be a participation prize just for submitting. And, as with all events, a chance to win one of five grand prize packages at the end of the event. Plus, remember that you have to participate in all events to receive a special prize package at the end! So go out there, use those artistic minds, and make up your own version of the Twelve Days of Christmas!

Mist Solidity
Rank: B, A, S
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Causes the dense mists to become heavier on the opponent.
Special: Boar, Snake, Rat, Horse, Dragon, Ram
Drawback: The user gets effected as well if they are within the mists. The opponent must be within a five meter range of the user(fifteen feet) B rank lasts four turns, A rank lasts two, and S rank lasts two
Description: The user makes the handseals for the technique and following this their chakra is spread out along the thick mists around them. The chakra then begins to disturb the water molecules within the mist, causing them to attract to each other slowly forming from a gas from slowly into a solid. With the C rank training, the user can use this and cause the opponents movements to slow down as if they were running underneath water, very slow. With the B rank training, the user focuses more chakra to cause the water pressure to get even harder thus slowing the opponents movements to a slow motion type of speed, making an attacking opportunity much greater. With the A rank training, the user puts so much chakra into the technique that the mists turning into a solid(or ice) totally stopping the opponent from movement, meaning the user must know the ice release in order to learn this rank of the technique.

Skill: Ninjutsu/Kinjutsu
Effect: (In description)
Special: Rat, Dog, Snake, Rooster, Monkey, Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Snake handseals
Drawback: The user will also be a potential target for the mist. No more water-based jutsu can be used in the thread.
Description: A technique that can only be used in conjunction with the other mist techniques, causing any mist affected in this way to linger on the battle field for an unnaturally long length of time. This chakra infused mist is controlled by the user, the user causing it to seek out nearby targets and attempt to restrain and asphyxiate them by clinging to their bodies, wrapping around their necks and forcing its way into their lungs to essentially strangle them. This move lasts for 3 posts and any mist introduced after its casting is also affected by it. Yuurei Kagaisha only has a distance of three-hundred meters or so, making it quite possible to escape should you be on the outskirts of the mist. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.
