Hello.
I have thought about this for quite some time. After talking with Heero, I decided to make a decision.
This is my tenth year at NFRP. I have been an active member since April 2007 and I always have something on my planner. Not even moving to China for six months stopped me from being active here.
Some/many of you have noticed that my activity and replies have been quite erratic or odd lately. My main reason for this is a lack of energy. I honestly feel like I have not had that much time to rest since last December. I have worked and studied part time from January to June this year for starters. To make matters worse, one of my closest relatives felt ill in March-April. Thankfully, they made a full recovery. Working and studying at the same time was a juggling act. Especially since I was in a new job and had not studied since 2013. Fortunately, I got an A on my first exam and a B on my second exam.
I moved to a bigger city to start in a new job four months ago as well. I didn't knew anyone when I moved here. Things got a bit worse when a male coworker got a bit too close for my liking. Thankfully, my supervisor handled that issue very well. Coworker in question is behaving a lot better now.
Today is the last week before the Christmas holidays. As of today, I am taking out a semi-break. Semi-break as in following:
- I will keep up the RP in the events and threads I'm in. I won't be making new ones unless they were planned in advance.
- Mission approval and acceptance won't be an issue. But I won't GM them unless they are "D" or "C"-ranked. I will not GM arena missions either.
- Unless it's an emergency/urgent, I won't be online during the evening.
I did not make this thread to make people feel sorry for me. But since my character is a kage, you ought to know it. I will use this break to enjoy time with family and friends. Or by myself until I get back home.
My activity will be back to normal on January 19th 2018.
Since I have your attention, I want to wish you a happy holiday.
Best wishes,
Marii.
