As he had been walking around in the lands of the ame no kuni, he had talked to people that were directing him towards the capital of the nation. No one had actually said what the situation was all about, but they seemed to be bothered by it. So he had been rushing towards the town with haste and as he approached it he tried to avoid any security personal as he didn't want any assumed opinion before he had made his own. As he had noticed that bars were a good source of information, that was the first place that he headed to. There were unusual low activity at the first one that he found, which was close to the outskirts of the town. He jumped down and checked into the building through the window and listened through the door, but for some reason the few individuals in there appeared to were low in spirit and looked more shocked if anything.
Emi was immediately suspecting that there were some eerie presence in the village or perhaps a group of genjutsu users that spread fear through it. After he had stayed outside the bar for almost two hours, he found out that there were actually no one that entered or exited it. But as he didn't appear to be able to get any information from just checking there, he began to move around to see if there were anyone nearby that could reveal any more information.
As he was dressed in his ANBU clothes and had his mask on he doubted that anyone would stop him from doing his investigation, but he made sure to remain in the shadows to avoid making the people more worried. But as in case that it would end in fighting he had brought along a half a dozen perfected kunais, 45 shurikens and his bear claws. There most likely wouldn't be any need for anything else but that, allowing to travel a little more freely.
