PERSONALITY
Tomomi Hyuuga is an odd individual. His personality is defined by many aspects, but mostly by his ambition. He'll kill, maim, steal, plunder and otherwise break the rules and laws if it's something he cares for. The closely defined individuals he considers his family are especially treasured and excluding betrayal will always be included in his plans. Those plans mostly involve the benefiting of family, or his own personal wealth. While generally the grass village can be considered something he cares about, he would gladly discard Kusa if it aided his circle.
Tomomi, can typically be designated as Tomo by those he's close with. Although he'll surely grow upset if unfamiliar individuals try to term him as such. Recently, strangers have begun to refer to Tomo as Mama. A strange epithet to say the least. Perhaps because of his perceived generosity and wealth, or perhaps because of a trick of some sort. He is rather fond of the nickname though, letting it slide despite still considering himself to be male.
Tomo is a social butterfly, with a flair for theatrics. He is extremely fond of flashy performances of any sort. The kind to awe a crowd, whether he be participating or simply observing. He'll provide a show where there is none, and is restless when there is none. Some of his most extensive plans involve putting on a show, and will spend years of preparation and income if he feels that he needs to. Tomo has visions of grandeur. Perhaps his patience and work ethic will establish a fine celebrity.
Although typically he doesn't place himself above family, he is certainly pretentious. Possessing a considerable superiority complex that runs quite deep, he generally places himself a cut above the masses unless they distinguish themselves to him. He disregards most people as plebeians, despicable garbage unless proven convenient for his aims. Perhaps this attitude stems from his bloodline? Perhaps from a thoroughly knit traumatic experience. Either way he seems to carry some sort of deep-seated hatred.
Tomomi's sense of morals seem to be extensively twisted. He's quite fond of several activities and habits that most consider to be wrong or illegal. He doesn't especially enjoy killing, but doesn't feel remorse for those he's killed. Sex, drugs, and liquor are all pastimes he seems to enjoy, despite being underage. Frequently denied the right to purchase substances, he's grown fond of creating his own and experimenting with selling his goods.
He seems to have established a business of sorts. He provides varying services to those who need or want them. If they can't afford the services, many times he will trade what he possesses for a future favor, yet to be decided. Many have

APPEARANCE
Tomo possesses a rather puzzling image. He speaks and acts as if he were a man, despite the biology of his body being female. Because of this I refer to him with male pronouns, despite him actually being a woman. Tomo's gloomy black hair is trimmed in a manner more for convenience and function than for appearance. His bangs are cut just slightly out of his eyes, as to not impede his vision, even though he has a dojutsu that can see through hair. On top of his head he wears a hairband, for keeping his hair further out of his line of sight.
His skin is pallid. Extremely pale in fact, but perhaps his heritage contributed responsibly to his complexion. His figure is average and somewhat lacking, but sturdy. Thin appendages lend a surprising amount of strength for features so slender. Fortunately, Tomo's discouraging stature doesn't seem to upset him. Being originally male, Tomo doesn't seem to care that his body isn't especially... voluptuous. If anything, he imagines that the large protrusions would only get in his way.
Tomomi was born to the mighty and prestigious Hyūga clan, and by extension he possesses their Kekkei Genkai. His coveted eyes are especially different compared to the average Hyūga, though. His eyes have been manipulated by the shadow mirror shapeshift technique. His eyes look like regular black eyes, with pupils and everything. He doesn't make any effort to hide his eyes, nor does he care if people find them strange, or wish to hold them as their own. When Tomo activates his rare Dōjutsu, small indistinct veins appear around his sclerae, and additional veins bulge around the eyes.
As far as attire is concerned, Tomo is extremely fashionable. Only the finest tailored clothes adorn this fine young gentlemen. He wears a frilly black skirt. His top is an ornate white blouse, with long sleeves. The upper torso portion of the top is black, and has a collar. On his neck you can see a fine black bow, probably more expensive than you can imagine. And finally on his feet you'll see a pair of fine brown leather boots. Tomo is usually accessorized by many articles of jewelry. Earrings, necklaces, rings, you name it. Typically he prefers less flashy looking ornaments, but their quantity and worth tend to stick out nonetheless.

HISTORY
Tomomi Hyūga, as he was initially designated, was born in Konohagakure under very unusual circumstances. His father, who we'll leave unnamed for convenience sake, was an unsatisfied man, that sought, rather unsuccessfully; and with every fiber of his being, glory. He wished for accomplishment and achievement much in the way that people yearn for money or power. Unfortunately for Tomomi's father, he attained none such exploits. Fortunately, though, he was a main house Hyūga, and regardless of his failures, he had a powerful clan and village behind him.
Eventually, Tomo's father relinquished his attempts at fulfilling his lofty goals, and moved on with his life. It was at this point that he'd managed to meet a young attractive Hyūga daughter, who he'd psychologically tricked into being his bride and bearing his child. It was through this union that Tomomi was born. Any opportunity for him to be raised in a thoughtful and supportive environment were quickly dashed though. Tomo's father raised him in near seclusion. His entire existence was devoted to the Hyūga fighting style, Jyūken, and the kekkei genkai, and studying. Tomo was occasionally brought to a Hyūga dojo in the village in order to learn a move or technique that his father was unable to teach, but otherwise he had no interaction with regular people whatsoever.
Because of this, Tomomi became something of a figurative robot, simply dedicated to his father's requests. He only met his mother a few brief times, but doesn't seem to recall what she even looked or sounded like. His father'd managed to brainwash his innocent child into believing the world existed simply for the Hyūga and Jyūken. This went on for several years. Perhaps 5, perhaps 10, perhaps 12. Tomo never celebrated a birthday, so he never knew how old he was.
As a result of this cruel and strange upbringing, Tomo mastered Jyūken astonishingly fast. He passed the ability level of masters who'd been practicing the art for decades in a period of time that not many had seen before. It didn't take long for the Hyūga elders to consider the ramifications of what Tomo's father had done. Instead of resisting, however, he simply explained his (feigned) dedication to the clan and suspicions were temporarily dropped.
At some point, Tomo and his father moved to a different home, which Tomo later found out to be inside Kusagakure. It was at this point that Tomo awoke one morning to find a letter resting upon the dining room table. Inside this letter, he found a series of apologies for the cruel and unusual way in which his father had raised him. Because of this, Tomo was now a mostly educated lad that had entirely mastered the art of Jyūken and has a bright future ahead of him.
With the tools that his father had provided for him, Tomo was now allowed to do whatever he likes with his future. Thankfully Kusagakure was gracious enough to give Tomomi the opportunity to provide his services to the village as a Genin, and he accepted gratefully. Now with an open future, Tomo can do whatever he'd like, and get himself into as much trouble as he sees fit.

HISTORY UPDATES
Tomo has matured considerably since his excused departure from the village. He intends to return immediately, but he has been through a lot. Perhaps he will tell somebody what happened eventually, but for now those events remain a mystery. He has obtained a new companion though, in the blue phoenix named Jimmerly. Whether or not Jimmerly intends to benefit his first friend or not is yet to be seen.
Tomo has since returned to his village, revealing that his appearance has been permanently changed by a technique against his will. His appearance is so thoroughly changed that his gender has switched completely. He seems to be okay with this, despite the negative attention it seems to bring to him.
