Waru said a little more about her family, and how she had thought that she was an only child and how it was possible that they were related. Not for the first time, Valerys wondered if this was true -- if her parents had tried to have another chlid after her abandonment of them. She hadn't spoken to them in years, but cherished the fact that one day she might find them again. But Valerys would never say these words to anybody, and very rarely to herself. As she was having these thoughts and after preparing herself with the mouths, Waru began to construct an ice staff -- another interesting trait. She must be skilled with ninjutsu, Valerys assessed, If it came down to it that would be her weakness. My taijutsu would need to be fast... But no reason to wonder such things. Waru had shown her such a beautiful set of graves, and she could think of no one better to explore it with after years of solitude.
Valerys could not read the runes on the walls but once again found herself noting how much more training she had to do. In the distance she saw her two children waiting in front of another set of doors. As Waru and Valerys approached the homunculi, Valerys asked, "Anthing out of the ordinary?
"No ma'am," the children replied in haste. "But the feel of death lingers here."
"So I've noted."
The twins would wait to follow additional orders, as did the mouths on her body, and Valerys would say, "Well no time like the present," and reach for the next set of doors. Now the group of four would come upon another hallway, lit by dim blue vines around the roof, and find an old building (if they happened to make it this far successfully) and upon seeing the dead bodies in the distance Valerys would get a cold look on her face. I"d recognize that sight anywhere," Valerys said to Waru and wondered who would examine the bodies. If Waru did not volunteer then Valerys would tell one of her children, "Go ahead, inspect them." If Waru had no objections, then the child would do as it was told and look over the two bodies to see how long they appeared dead and what items they might be carrying. It was a shame that she did not have better control over her soulcaster abilities, she would have loved to see what secrets this soul carried.
