[Chuunin Examiner]

This was a fairly large room. The room was 50 meters by 50 meters with a height of 10 meters. The room was made out of concrete just like the others. Along the south eastern part was a simple wooden door, purple in color. The room had a small of lavender in the air.

The way this room was laid out looked like a very large storage room. Crates, containers and barrels are in the room. There are stairs located on the west and east part of the room indicating walk ways but no doors on each side. The cover indicates that there are crates underneath the stairs and storage lockers located underneath the walkways. The Northwest part of the room has a security desk and chair. This part of the room has a stairway going up to a walkway that extends throughout the north center part of the room and a second stairway descends into the northwest part of the room.

Sitting along the center of the room is a single man wearing a hazmat suit. The man is sitting on a stool, hands on his thighs. He's also wearing a messenger bag. There were lights long the ceiling. 1 light every 10 meters apart along the center of the room, but these lights were not very powerful as room was still somewhat dark.

Along the most southern part of the room is where the participants would appear. Here there would be 3 members of the examinee committee wearing hazmat suits while looking at clipboards and viewing monitor devices. The examiner along the center was a male. Another male examiner was within the three holding monitors and clipboards while the other two were female.

If anyone had a Hiraishin tag and was still located where the registration building was, they'd be able to sense any Hiraishin Tags in this building.

Not Loki Hamura For the Members who pop into this room a moment of time would pass to allow each member to gather some composure and figure out what kind of room this was.

One of the men in the hazmat suit spoke up. It was the male along the southern part of the room. "03 you go first, then 07," he said loudly. "Your task is simple. In the center of this room you will find a man sitting on a stool. He has a messenger bag. Inside that bag you will find a scroll. Bring me a scroll." he said calmly and waited for the members to begin.

OOC: So this is a test different from the others. I have no true standard of measuring to this will be dependent on how your character goes about it. Bring the scroll. That's it. It doesn't matter how you do it, what you do to get it (Just don't kill everyone). You can do anything you want in here. This can be seen as the stealth room but don't think you are pigeon holed into doing it with stealth. It is your test.

[Now what?]

Gunnr was about to answer the young man until the two of them were whisked away to their next room. Once inside of the room Gunnr immediately noticed that it was different from the other in several respects. It looked more like a storage room than the others, and there was the faint hint of Lavender in the air. That was a very telling detail, as she hadn't smelled anything of that  particular note, in the other rooms. The lighting was dim, and shadows were abound. There was lots of places for people to slink and hide into. However, none of that actually made a bit a of difference to her until she heard what their task was. Gunnr smirked a bit, "I get it..." She said mentally. This room was designed for stealth there was plenty of places to hide, and conceal one's self.

It was pretty straight forward from there. What was not straight forward was the capacity in which the seated target would engage with the participants, or if he'd engage at all. It made Gunnr no never mind as she would prepare to handle this as quickly and quietly as possible. Gunnr's eyes rapidly scanned the the room As Her Ryuugan reemerged, as her turn was called. The man was seated in the middle of the 50 by 50m room, that meant from her location he was at Max, 25 meters away from her. She walked forward, as she finally started to answer Hamura, "So far I think this has been a huge waste of time..."

As she said this she was fading in and out of sight as she walked through the pockets of shadows in the dimly lit room. In this poorly lit room, it was a simple thing to fade from view even with no cover. She began to place her hands into her pocket, as she stepped into shadows. With some Sleight of Hand as she preformed hand seals with her left hand before they entered into her pocket. Those Seals were followed immediately by the formation of very thick Concealing Mist. From top to bottom the room was filled with the mist, but for Gunnr seeing through it was no problem. If she was not already a ghost she vanished completely into the mist.

The Mist also served to drown the scent scent of the lavender as well as her own natural scent. She wasn't sure if they could smell through those Hazmat suits. But that Lavender smell, was a bit off putting to her. She surmised that having that fragrance in the air could make it easier to catch unfamiliar scents that grew near. Especially those that had just come from a swim in a Pool. Her preparations did not stop there. She wasn't sure what kind of devices were stored within those Hazmat suits, but she was taking no chances. As soon as the mist formed and another series of one handed seals, a soft Ray of Frost shot through the mist, into the face of the hazemat suit.

The little power that could be put into the attack didn't matter, Gunnr was just using it as a way to gum up the works. What ever that Hazemat suit head piece could do, now should have a harder time with a coat of frost clamming it up. After sending out the Ray Gunnr had already Shunshin -ed 10 meters further into the room and into one of the Shadows of the crates, laying around in the room, having scouted herself a path before hand. She was in what appeared to be an awkward crouching position, after coming out of her Shunshin with her right hand flexed out to her side, and keeping herself in stealth. It was indeed awkward until she vanished with a blink, appearing 1 meter to the side of the man sitting on the stool. With her fingers of her right hand nearly touching the bag. Her fleet fingers already inches away from the Messenger bag, quickly reached in, under the flap pulling out a scroll.

Her eyes darted to the image of the scroll in her hand to make sure it was indeed was she was looking for. As she made the motion to stand up from her crouching position she teleported with a Blink again. Her footsteps remained silent as she made her way over to the examiner. The mist, and the Frost began to clear almost as fast as they have formed, the whole affair taking Gunnr no more than 2 secs, from start to finish. As the Mist and frost began to disperse under Gunnr's will, she stood there in front of the Examiner with the scroll in hand. After giving it to him, She made her way back over to Ham finally finishing her statement, "But at least this room required a bit of forethought."

[Hamura]

Judging by the next room, he was having some difficulty figuring out what needed to be done here. While he could roughly size up the room and some of the things inside of it, the fact that there was a single hazmat suit wearing person in the middle of the room gave him at least a tiny bit of insight into what needed to be done here today. As his fellow Shinobi had already seemingly figured out, the room was poorly lit, making it easy for someone just like him to just fade in and out of the shadows without any real kind of effort. At least, he hoped that it would be that easy, seeing as he rarely had the chance to test his skill indoors.

Shortly before they heard the explanation, the girl stated that she felt like this was all a huge waste of time. While he could see why she'd say something like that, it did not help her case much that it seemed most of these physical tests were not all that hard for her. As someone who had not developed quite as far as her yet, these tests were naturally harder for him to complete, though he still did his best wherever he could. Before he could properly respond to her, it seemed that she had already gone about doing her thing. Using a mixture of water and ice release techniques, watching things unfold was quite interesting, as far as his eyes could actually see it.

When she returned with her scroll not much later, he waited for the mist to settle and for the man to clean the frost off of his suit. Figuring that it wouldn't be fair to ride in the slipstream created by the girl, he waited until he felt that the man had been given enough time to catch his bearings and get back into the game. As he was just about to get going, the girl finished her sentence by saying that this room at least required some thought. Smiling a bit from behind his mask, he figured that she was at least right about that much. Making his way over to get his turn at taking the test, he had already formulated a plan in the back of his head that would likely allow him to pass this test without too much trouble.

Walking up to a range of two meters from the man, formed a quick string of seals and created a rather decent source of water. Without as much as a second thought, he had already rushed through the second string of seals, drawing forth a total of six water clones in front of and around him. Putting on the hood of his cloak, he figured that every additional bit of cover he could get would make his plan that much more likely to succeed. Using the other clones that now stood between him and the hazmat wearing man, he gave his clones the mental command to start erratically move and maneuver themselves around the man.

As soon as his clones started drawing the attention towards them, he used his blink ability in order to appear crouched behind the man. Ordering his clones to primarily draw attention to the front, he figured that by the time the man would even notice that the original was no longer among the clones, he would already have finished burgling the man. In a quick maneuver, he slipped his hand into the pack and took out a scroll. As soon as he was done, he dashed back towards the place where the girl was waiting on him to finish so they could proceed to the next room. But Hamura was not exactly done yet though.

Releasing his clones at the same time, they all burst apart in small scaled blasts over water which Hamura would use to maneuver past. Under the cover of darkness and water burst about, he would make his way back to the start of the room without having to use any additional flickers or blink-like techniques. Due to his size, he usually had no trouble escaping sight, which his Anbu preparation training and special cloak only further aided. Within the next few seconds, he appeared before the person that told both him and the girl to bring them a scroll from the other man's pack. With a bit of luck, this was all he'd need to pass this test.

Description: Range of this technique is personal. Duration of this technique is 5 rounds per Class Level. This technique requires a small source of water nearby. Using this technique, the user is able to create a replica of themselves with water. This version looks and carries equipment similar to the user except it being made of water. The user may create 2 clones +1 per Class Level. While the replications are not capable of sentient thought, they share a bond of sort that allows the user to communicate orders to their clones; the bond is only one way, though, and the clones cannot send orders, thoughts or images to the user. As such, the clones follow the user's instructions to the letter. A Water Replication is its own person and if caught in a GenJutsu, only the replica will be affected, and not the user and/or the whole group of clone. The clones have 2 Armour Points per Class Level of the user, saves equal to that of the user -2. It may not have more than 2 movements per round. It does not benefit from any Temporary bonuses the user may currently have. A Water Replication has a Bludgeoning Resistance 15 and takes 1/2 as much fire damage. A Water Replication may not stray further than 1 mile from the user, although it if is not within 30 meters of the source it was created from, it suffers a -5 penalty skill checks. It cannot use any techniques at all, and carries the very same equipment as the user except chakra-dependent items such as exploding tags. Poison and mastercraft bonuses are not carried over to the clone's equipment. Lastly, it cannot normally perform any activities requiring particular attention, such as sensing chakra, setting off an exploding tag or carrying a serious conversation. Once the clone reaches 0 Armour Points, strays too far from another clone or the user or the duration expires, it disappears in a puff of smoke. While the user can freely replace any clones lost by using this technique more than once, the user cannot control a number greater of clone than the specified maximum. The user can also choose to dissipate a single clone (or more) of their choice rather than the whole group. The user also cannot control any other sort of clone while using this technique.

Description: These cloaks can look like any cloak the creator wishes. These items can be cloaks, capes, shawls or any other shoulder equipment. Cloak of Hyūga are made out of the hide of Common Crocodiles. This cloak of neutral gray leather is indistinguishable from an ordinary cloak of the same color. However, when it is worn, with the hood drawn up around the head (or the head is covered), it enables the wearer to be nearly invisible. Outdoors, in natural surroundings, the wearer of the Cloak is almost totally invisible; in other settings, he is nearly so. Funny enough, when the two performed their test, it did not matter what they did or how they worked. The man sitting in the middle did not move from his spot. In their way it seemed everything was going according to plan. They were able to get what they needed inside the bag but the man in the middle did not move. He simply sat there. His job was not to move. He was simply assessing the situation and seeing how each one worked this test.

Both Particapants did not get the highest score, however with their cunning abilities, the unique use of techniques with distraction they would receive good scores.

Before anything could happen the 2 members wearing their hazmat suits wrote down the result and the 2 disappeared once again into another room. This Room

[Inoryu]

    Inoryu was teleported into the new room, and he quickly took in his surroundings; a dim lit storage room with the smell of lavender. "Shadows and an aroma to enhance stealth," was his immediate thought. He still conducted a threat assessment, but again, the biggest threat remained the Sand-nin contestant. As for the examiners, it appeared they wore hazmat suits for their own protection against ninjutsu. Inoryu's attention was directed to a chunin examiner, male this time, and was given his assignment.

    There were several plans he had concocted as his jutsu gave him numerous options, but of course the discipline taught by his father before the ninja academy had taken precedence, though not because he was a mindless drone. He had considered all of his options, and his plan to debilitate the target seemed to be the best option in terms of success rate.

    Two hand seals was all it took to unleash one of his most effective genjutsu. If successful, the rancid taste of rotting vegetation would overwhelm the victim's mouth and throat, and their breath would reek of damp, rotting matter that is deep in the throes of putrefaction. The combined smell and taste would be horribly nauseating to the victim and would render him virtually helpless. The target would be unable defend the scroll. Inoryu would not need stealth as he would merely walk over to the target, wrestle the victim for the scroll in the bag, and return to deliver it to the chunin examiner. He would then release the fengut jutsu to allow no advantages to the Sand-nin. However, if fengut was unsuccessful, Inoryu would sense it and proceed to plan B.

    Inoryu would weave through five hand seals and project a glamour on himself that would render him invisible to all those who did not have the constitution to resist. The second step of his plan was to sneak along the shadows of the crates, past the target and behind him. Hidden within the shadow ten meters behind the target and leaning against a crate in a kneeling position, he made the oval handseal of his clan jutsu and projected his mind to the target. 

    If the mind possesssion jutsu was a success, Inoryu would become the examiner sitting on the stool with the messenger bag. He would stand up and walk over to the examiner who requested the scroll in plain sight. When Inoryu was standing before him, as the messenger, he would reach into his messenger bag and hold out the scroll for the examiner to take. "On behalf of contestant 01, here is my scroll," Inoryu said, the messenger's voice muffled by the face protection. It was within Inoryu's range to act as though he was the person whom he had possessed. The purpose: deception. The act was meant to further deceive the audience and keep his clan jutsu a secret.

    When the examiner accepted the scroll, Inoryu would return the messenger to his stool, sitting in the same manner he had before the possession so that he would not be suspicious when he awoke. Though, if the messenger was more astute, he would notice the scroll was gone. Inoryu would return to his body as well, still invisible, and would return to where he had been standing before he began his assignment. At that point, he would release the glamour. To most, the scene would appear as Inoryu turning invisible, the chunin examiner forfeiting his scroll on "01's" behalf, return to his stool, and Inoryu reappearing where he stood. Only those with the willpower to resist his glamour would be able to see the workings of his clan jutsu.

Shintenshin no Jutsu (Mind Possession Jutsu)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The Yamanaka sends his or her mind into his or her opponent’s mind. Once in the opponent’s body they may manipulate it as much as they want.
Special: The Oval Hand seal directed at the opponent.
Drawback: The mind is only projected in a straight line, making it easy to dodge. If the mind transfer is dodged, the user’s body will be left comatose for at least three of the user’s posts. Any damage dealt to the possessed body will be suffered by the user’s body also.
Description: Directing the oval hand seal to their opponent, the Yamanaka is able to propel their mind into their opponent’s body. If the technique is successful the user can they manipulate the victim’s body. If the user has the same Class as the person possessed they may stay within the body for five posts. If the victim is higher Classed than the Yamanaka, then for every additional Class substract one post. If the victim is lower classed than the user, subtract for every additional Class one post. (Distance of 20 meters maximum)

[Master Game]

Seconds after his previous test had been completed Shoko found himself in a different room, not at all surprised by this point due to the monotony of it all. Though he was thankful that the rooms were all made to bear different purposes. As was this one. Shoko's head swivelled and his and his eyes roamed, taking in the different scenery and everything in his immediate environment. The ceiling stretched ten metres in from the ground in the cubed room 50 by 50 metres in length and breadth. Purely concrete the walls and floor were, the usual cameras and lights were the sole decorations on the walls, and this time a purple door lay by the south-eastern corner of the room.

Crates, storage locker, barrels. Tons of the stuff made up the room itself, providing excellent cover for anyone trying to sneak past someone or something. That was when Shoko noticed the faint outlines of another hazmat suited being, about 20-25 metres in front of him(Judging from him being situated in the middle of the room). There was also a very distinct lavender smell, useful for disguising any other foreign smells. A male examiner then spoke up:

"01 you go first, then 06," he said loudly. "Your task is simple. In the center of this room you will find a man sitting on a stool. He has a messenger bag. Inside that bag you will find a scroll. Bring me a scroll." he said calmly and waited for the members to begin.

Shoko himself wasn't that clueless on how to begin. So as 01 began his own trial, Shoko's erratic mind would spiral through a whirlwind of possible strategies and formulas for success, making sure to get a good look of what was around him to help him with that. By the time 01 finished Shoko already knew what to do. As 01 returned either returned the scroll or came back empty-handed, Shoko would give the examiners a curt nod to signify that he was beginning, before actually doing so.

The slender fingers of both middle arms danced to the rhythm of handseals. Like he had rehearsed many times before, a lightning clone materialised into existence from a small crackle of electricity. Sharing a mental like, the two each headed their own separate ways.

The one Shoko would go slightly left, sticking to the abundant shadows and using its natural stealth to avoid the target's line of sight. The boy knees bent and almost in a crouch position, weaved through the large crates, cardboard boxes and wooden barrels with uncanny proficiency. Sticking to the left side of room near its wall. Another Shoko would do the exact same, but moving along the right side of the room, navigating through the huge amounts of storage equipment to provide the perfect cover, one of his eyes always on the lookout for his target(Whose exact location he already had a good idea of thanks to 01's performance). The lavender scent in the air would only bolster the mission's success, for it disguised any other foreign scents or smells.

The two ninjas had quickly reached the utmost east and west parts of the room respectively and were now facing parallel to the guard, behind their own concealments. Once confirming each others positions by their shared thoughts, the Shoko hiding by the east side of the room would move first jumping out of cover abruptly before making a lightning quick-sprint towards his target. The clone's feet slid to a halt three-metres from his target where he performed a fast still jutsu version of lightning flash, eyes producing a bright flash as he merely blinked. The jutsu would blind the man in the hazmat suit, whose attention the clone had grabbed, and leave him disoriented and without sight. At that exact time, the other Shoko left his hiding spot and zipped off towards the blinded man like a bullet, performing handseals as he ran. After a certain distance Shoko would close the gap in an instant with a shunshin. The clone meanwhile, after performing his first justu, weaved handseals and created a crackling ball of raiton that he contained in two of his hands. The constant crackle of lightning as the the other Shoko ran was loud enough to prevent the man in the hazmat suit from hearing his footsteps, allowing that Shoko employ stealth even as he ran. As the genin reached the man's back he focused his chakra, and thanks to the already prepared handseals, an intense static crackle and buzz would come over his top left arm and hand. A lightning-fast jab was aimed to the man's spine, simultaneously and as the effects of the jutsu set, another arm would reach out to the man's messenger bag as the body immediately became paralysed.

Shoko's hands speedily rummaged through bag, quickly pulling out what was supposed to be the scroll he was looking for as he blinked out of existence. Re-appearing twelve-metres away and to the south of the room, Shoko cancelled his lightning clone jutsu before sprinting all the way back to the examiners and delivering it to them, careful not to bump into any storage equipment.

A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by focusing the user's chi along the ankles and foot. User mostly moves just with their ankles and feet. Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.

[Chuunin Examiner]

the two performed their test, it did not matter what they did or how they worked. The man sitting in the middle did not move from his spot. In their way it seemed everything was going according to plan. They were able to get what they needed inside the bag but the man in the middle did not move. He simply sat there. His job was not to move. He was simply assessing the situation and seeing how each one worked this test. Both Particapants did not get the highest score, however with their cunning abilities, the unique use of techniques with distraction they would receive good scores. Before anything could happen the 2 members wearing their hazmat suits wrote down the result and the 2 disappeared once again into another room. This Room

Ryutatsu "Sakurai Sword" Starnaess @lemegeton For the Members who pop into this room a moment of time would pass to allow each member to gather some composure and figure out what kind of room this was.

One of the men in the hazmat suit spoke up. It was the male along the southern part of the room. "02 you go first, then 04, and finally 05," he said loudly. "Your task is simple. In the center of this room you will find a man sitting on a stool. He has a messenger bag. Inside that bag you will find a scroll. Bring me a scroll." he said calmly and waited for the members to begin.

OOC: So this is a test different from the others. I have no true standard of measuring to this will be dependent on how your character goes about it. Bring the scroll. That's it. It doesn't matter how you do it, what you do to get it (Just don't kill everyone). You can do anything you want in here. This can be seen as the stealth room but don't think you are pigeon holed into doing it with stealth. It is your test.

[Ryutatsu "Sakurai Sword"]

Ryutatsu frowned at this room and the mission of it. It wasn't the most honorable mission but supposedly the man is aware of it. It seemed to be designed based on stealth. This was an area of his expertise that was sorely lacking. But either way he planned on giving it a good go. When it was his turn up He used his enhanced senses not only to pin point the man but find himself a spot that was about fifteen meters away from the man and out of sight.

Ryutatsu may not be the most stealthy of people so the man likely knew Ryutatsu was moving about out there, but he had a plan. With a few hand seals and a couple of seeds Ryutatsu did something a bit different. He had a chain of flower petals slither across the floor until it could reach the man's pouch. Using it like the living rope it was Ryutatsu ensnared the scroll from within the bag and dragged it back to himself.

A second chain of the same flower petals from the other seed at the same time would wrap around the man and bind him to the chair. Ryutatsu would just restrain the man because Ryutatsu doubted his own subtly. Loki and Shiki always told him how he lacked that trait and continued to try to teach it to him. But somehow they couldn't make him that good at it.

Either way that was the past. The present was he had acquired the desired scroll from the messenger bag. With it in hand he walked it over to the graders and handed it to him. He didn't think he did that well but at least it would be better than nothing. After the last room, Ryutatsu briefly wondered how he was doing over all.

Hana Ninpou: Hana Fuujikomu no Kusari (Flower Ninja Art: Flower Entrapment Chain)

Effect: Creates a chain of flower petals which is used to hold an opponent in place.

Drawback: Best performed when within a field of flowers. If the opponent is not standing upon the flowers, then the technique may still be used, but the petals will need to move towards the opponent, giving them greater ability to dodge. Weak to fire.
Description: Unlike most Ikebana techniques, this ability focuses entirely upon capturing and subduing an opponent rather than destroying them. Performing the required hand seals, the user will create a chain of flowers, which is capable of extending, at maximum, twenty meters, which is usually wrapped around the opponent's leg in order to chain them. Because of the chakra within it, the petals resist cutting unless from a strong source (B rank or higher attack) and will retain their formation unless severed or if the opponent has enough strength to break free. The user is capable of holding a Taijutsu Non-Specialist for up to three turns with this ability, a Taijutsu specialist for one and a half turns, a Taijutsu master can break out in half a turn.

[Starnaess]

The twins had a new test in front of them , take the scroll from the messanger bag from the man sitting on a stool in the middle of the room. "Seems rather simple" thought Kaelynn to Kael through the mind link. The fused being, behind their mask and underneath their long cloak smiled. They already knew what to do and how to do it. Once the twins were given the order to begin they would immediatly use their venator jutsu to boost their stealth. after which they would make the handseals for invisibility jutsu and then hide.

Using their cloak to enhance their stealth They would lower their stance and immediatly move from their spot, slowly and as stealthly as possible.  As they stealthed around the room, using everything in the enviroment as cover not to get  spotted, their goal was to get behind the target - approach him  and steal the scroll through a sleight of hand manouver.

As they neared , while still hiding they would await the right moment before attempting at stealing the scroll. Invisible and covered by their cloak the fused being approached the man and with a quick movement of their hand would try to take the scroll from the messanger bag. They would attempt this process until they succeeded. They would then go back to the examiners and unto their invisibility technique. They would hand the scroll to them.

Description: Affects anyone who sees the target. The user is able to perform this technique on the target they touch. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 minutes per class level. This technique may be negated with a Will Save of 10 + 2 per Class Level + Impeccable Will. The creature or object touched becomes invisible, vanishing from sight, even from darkvision. If the recipient is a creature carrying gear, that vanishes, too. If the user performs the Jutsu on someone else, neither the user nor their allies can see the subject, unless they can normally see invisible things. Items dropped or put down by an invisible creature become visible; items picked up disappear if tucked into the clothing or pouches worn by the creature. Light, however, never becomes invisible, although a source of light can become so (thus, the effect is that of a light with no visible source). Any part of an item that the subject carries but that extends more than 10 feet from it becomes visible, such as a trailing rope. Of course, the subject is not silenced, and certain other conditions can render the recipient detectable (such as stepping in a puddle). The Jutsu ends if the subject attacks any opponent. Titania was beaten, battered, and exhausted. Mostly of her own doing, but all the same she was at the end of her rope. Still, the tests continued. How much longer this would go on, she didn't know, and the examiners were of no help either. They just informed the group of their objectives and took notes.

She sighed. Watching the Cloud Genin go first was telling at least. The subject in possession of the scroll was completely nonreactive. But he was a genuine living human being. That much she could sense as she reaffixes her mask before her sight expanded to encompass the chamber in its entirety, her eyes glowing a vibrant crimson. She could feel his life force burning bright. Or was it a her?

No matter. If they were instructed not to respond, then her usual strategy of negotiations from a position of force was off the table. That left manual retrieval of some kind. She didn't have any fancy tricks like the plant manipulating swordsman to tale it from range, so she would have to go in herself.

Thankfully, while she wasn't well suited for stealth, she was adequately equipped for it. As long as she didn't move too aggressively, her cloak alone would place her at the level of near-invisibility.

She drew from her shoulder pouch a small stone, and turned it over in her hand. The magic activated, and she faded from the visible spectrum in an effect that was similar to an illusion she knew of, but not quite stemming from the same mechanisms, which meant that any defenses against genjutsu specifically weren't applicable.

Taking this brief window of effect thanks to the Roguestone, she flitted from cover point to cover point, keeping to the shadows.

The goal was to circle behind the target before approaching slowly. After creeping up on the subject, she crouched down by his bag to sift discreetly through its contents, looking for her copy of the scroll.

With it officially in her posession, it too stood to benefit from the effects of the invisibility. All she needed to do was slink away, then circle back around to the examiners. Turning over the stone again, sje returned to visibility and offered up the scroll.

It wasn't how she preferred to do things, but circumstances forced her hand. At least there wasn't something else reckless she coild do this time to improve her score. But what came next was anyone's guess.

[Chuunin Examiner]

One by one the members would come up to say what they would see. Sadly the 3 members wearing the hazmat would not say anything. Instead they would simply write down the results. The suits and masks hid their facial expressions. It hid any clues they would give to the other ninja. When one finished the young woman would speak saying her thanks, and simply wait for the next person to approach and continue with his test. They would not know if they did well, or poorly with this test.

After they completed their tests, they simply disappeared once again in a blink of light, only to appear once again in another room. This Room
