In the Land of Claw there were rumors of an ancient battle site on the far side of the Volcano. According to the rumors, the spirits of the dead still haunt the place and talk to the living. Further this was the last place known for one the Great Sword smith to have been seen. Zuruel you find yourself in a small village on the opposite side of the volcano having heard of this battle site.
Night is falling casting eerie shadows in the forestry around the small village. Everywhere can be heard the night life coming out for it's meal. Wolves and larger predators stalk the land, and you can remember Ryutatsu telling you how this land had strong mercenaries. From the story you remembered they were interested in ancient artifacts of great power and destruction. What will you do General of Mo?
Shango of the Bloody Mist as an associate of Loki of the Leaf, you have learned of interesting things about the area as well. Not to long in the memories of great beings but long ago in human years, Both Loki and the mother of Monsters had an interest in this area. From whispers of the locals a village on the other side of the volcano known for it's lightning rods and excavations was half destroyed a few years back. No one knows exactly what went on but a prophecy was reported to have been completed.
The village you both enter is the last major village before the other side of the mountain. The terrain while wooded is broken and lava flow seems to come regularly. Hot Springs and Mud bogs are plenty in this land of myth and legend. Both of these intrepid explorers have a reason to be far from their homes.
