Juniper always tried to push down her interactions when she stalked into this tower. There weren't many who put merit in her and she wasn't exactly native. The rulers of past had had a very stringent and coarse idea on the outside worlds but Juniper had her sneaking suspicions that all this WHITE out here had simply given them cabin fever. To top it of though; No visit would be complete without that resident bitch Lana and her condescending tone which bothered her more than she wanted to admit.
Being an outcast was fine, preferred even but the outright and direct pejoratives of people in a position of power in a place where she had been taught would be 'safer' than the wild didn't give her much faith. Feral as she was parts of her had to acknowledge she was still a young girl on some level and for all the thick skin she put on sharp tongue tended to prevail behind the scenes.
Ready to leave, noticeably more agitated, she was going to let her rage snap off the handle and snarl something ugly at the assistant but luckily her news pertained to the actual silver lining on the dark cloud that hung about this sleepy village. Translated even! Put on the spot she took the scroll and such, smiling somewhat weakly to outwardly though she was ecstatic inside, wrapping the letter and clutching the scroll in one had.
Walking away she paused three steps away and twisted around on her heel, face drawn tight. "Lana." She keeled in that harsh tongue of hers. "Pray, never lose job. I find hole you never get out of. And no one miss you." for all her tiny stature she couldn't drum up the vibrato but the fire and acid was in her stare. "I make sure of it." Little pinpricks stung her eyes but she wheeled around to storm off well beforehand, rubbing at the corner of her eyes with a rough and weathered wrist on the way out.
