BA-BOOM!!! Both kage bunshins fled the scene while the male spun around like a tornado. His kaiten was strong enough to stop the acid from hitting him. However, it caused some unexpected damage to his sword. The trio scanned the ground once the fire subsided.
Neither of them could see any remains of the zombies. “We did it...WE DID IT!!!” screamed the kage bunshin in triumph. A huge grin formed on his face.
“Game over. This is the part where the credits roll” muttered Satoshi. He collapsed on the ground.
The other clone approached them. “Good job team. Who is this by the way?” asked the kage bunshin. “His name is Satoshi” replied the clone. His partner looked at the creature with somewhat wide eyes.
“You have my thanks” told the sith cat. “Whoa! This is the first time I meet a talking cat! Nice to meet you Satoshi-san” greeted the kage bunshin. His pale purple optics looked at the newcomers face.
“What the - NO!!!” screamed Minoru. Most of the sharp edge of his sword was etched away by the acid. He put the sword back while looking at the trio. ‘I need to take a closer look at that cat’ decided the young man. He flied down before he landed between his clones.
The Chuunin was exhausted, but was able to land without stumbling. “You two are the best clones a shinobi can ask for. You did a first class job” praised the male. “Thank you. Oh - this is Satoshi. I think he is a sith cat” told the kage bunshin.
The black-haired guy turned his attention to the creature. “Hello Satoshi-san. Thank you for helping me out earlier. My name is Minoru. These two are my clones” informed the guy.
“I was originally looking for my Abyssinian cat Toshio. After searching for some time, I got here. You have probably figured out that I am an animal lover. Hence why I - or we - protected those zombies in the first place. I had no idea they were zombies though” admitted Minoru.
He took a deep breath while he laid an arm around each clone. The trio were leaning on each other for support. They were all tired with low chakra reserves. Especially the Chuunin due to his aerial acrobatics. All three of them would listen to what Satoshi had to say.
