Jormungandr couldn't help but laugh a bit, when she heard Miku bring up the Dragonkin children. Jormungandr looked at his palm absentmindedly. As he looked down at his hand an energy began to build in his palm. As the energy built, it started to cool over. After it cooled and he heated up, and then began to vibrate. The energy that he was holding, shifted between the states of magical energy, before forming back into the purest of it's forms
It's all the same thing. Everything comes back to the start. Jormungandr thought to himself. It was a rather simple concept, and one that he felt he already knew. It seemed like something that was obvious to all spell casters. However, knowing that, and seeing and feeling it for one's self was something completely different. Not only that, the simple concept had a different more complex layer, once this simple logic was understood.
If that was the case, then why was there so much middle man in crafting magic? If pure chakra could be molded into something else, the what's stopping it from shifting to the energy type you wanted without having to mold it. The use of Magic was will power over the energy that flowed through life... if that was the case then simply willing the elements. Should be simple. Jormungandr looked at his hand, and flame sprouted in the middle of his palm. That flame then started to crackle with lightning.
"I see..."
He said to himself and then turned his attention to Miku,
"The Dragonkin show me much too much respect, to have any equals among the children. They are Dragonkin, while they see me as a true to form Dragon. Not only that, I'm a LeFaye... that widens the gap further. And I don't know if you noticed my... frosty personality. Coupled with my status in the City... it makes it difficult to make friends. I'll just have to wait for my siblings to grow more impressive conversation skills, I guess. "
